Mary Mencsik, Kitchen Project Specialist at Lowes, Huber Heights, was wonderful to work with in planning our kitchen remodeling project. She guided us through every step in making complimentary selections for various space-saving cabinets and cabinet handles, granite countertop, appliances, sink and garbage disposal, new maple and pine doors, upgraded lights (can/LED and decorative over-the-countertop), electrical outlet switches and outlets, porcelain floor tiles and grout, right down to the matching wall base molding. She was always available to answer every question or concerns we asked her about. Greg Tebbe and his son Ken were the contractors for the project! Absolutely A+++ rating for this duo of professionals. Greg did all the plumbing and electrical work as well as custom build new doors for our laundry closet! Greg and Ken worked tirelessly by having to level the very uneven floor before putting each tile in place and then grouting in between each tile. The greeter pointed me to the correct department. There was a salesperson in the department and she helped me find the microwave I needed as well as the trash containers that I was there for. The same salesperson carried my items to the front of the store. After I purchased my items, they had someone help me out to my car. I tired to tip the young man, but he told me that he did not accept tips for doing his job. I was very impressed with that. I got the microwave home and had someone help me get it out of the car, take down the old one and put up the new one. I discovered after testing it that the microwave did not work. I called the store and spoke to a manager named Patty and she said she would try to get a delivery truck out to me as soon as possible with a new microwave. The delivery driver showed up and replaced the microwave and made sure it worked before leaving my home. I am so impressed with the customer service I received from this store and I don't plan on going anywhere but Lowe's for my needs.

I originally went into Lowes for a fencing quote, which I did utilize them for as well. They asked about any other projects I may have, which I had a few. I knew Lowes advertised Trane Systems, but I didn't go to them for a quote because I thought it was better to go to a Heating and AC Company directly. They asked to view and quote the project as well, so I figured I'd give them a shot and am glad I did. They use Extreme One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning for the installation and service. They did a great job and I gave them a great recommendation as well. They were both very flexible with my schedule. The Lowes Project Manager, Brian Maginnis, kept me in the loop and coordinated everything. The pricing was good and the installation and service was outsanding. I've had the system for about a week now and my timing was great as it has been a cold week. They system is working great and I am very pleased. 3 June 13 Update: Lowes pitched me on utilizing them because they could provide a better deal and better service through their subcontractor (Extreme One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning). We were overall pleased with the price and initial installation but not the service. Lowes stated that, as their subcontractor, I have the confidence of Lowes backing me and assisting me with any issues I may have with the subcontractor. My system is only 7 months old and my furnace works great, but the AC didn't work the 1st time I turned it on about 2 months ago and I have had a total of 3 service calls since. I have currently been without AC for 5 days now and the subcontractor can't repair my system for another week. Brian Maginnis was extremely sympathetic and helpful the 1st time I have called and gave me his personal cell phone # as he said he is hard to reach. I haven't been able to get him on the cell, left 2 messages, and he has yet to call me back and as far as I know hasn't helped at all with my AC issue. I hate to write this update and downgrade them, because I love Lowes, but I now deeply regret buying my Furnace and AC system through them, would not recommend anyone else utilizing them for a system. I have a nice house that I have been saving for quite a while, but I am active duty enlisted military, not a wealthy man, and have my wife and 2 young kids that stay at home during the day. We have been lucky that some days have been cool and pleasant outside, but the other were hot and humid with us sleeping downstairs to try and stay cool with my kids screaming that they are hot and the company I relied on doesn't seam to care that I have to deal with this on a brand new system that they represent.

I am spending $1500 on that service. I decided to use them because of convenience and there was another plumber on the list that would not do just the bathtub and would only do the entire bathroom renovating. So far it is so good. The responsiveness was very good.

I signed the contract for my fence on May 20, 2011 and was told the job would be completed in several weeks with the Holiday weekend coming up. All money was due up front which I normally wouldn't do but since it was Lowe's I wasn't too worried. Very glad I used a major credit card instead of a check since the work wasn't performed yet. It's a good thing I did because the job wasn't completed until July 30th. I was first told my fence would be installed on June 24th. Well, that didn't happen because according to their and quot;best installer,and quot; he now has a crew that is refusing to work on Fridays which really put his schedule behind and would now install my fence on July 1st. (supposedly, certain parts of my order weren't in and that's why it would take until June 24th in the first place) It's now June 30th and I receive a call from the Lowe's store telling me that my fence wasn't in yet and I would have to be rescheduled again! Remember I was told only certain parts hadn't arrived. The fence was now going to be delivered for sure on July 5th or 6th. The materials arrive on Sunday July 10th and the installers arrived on July 11th. According to a family member (as I was at work) my salesman even showed up the morning of the install. Well, when I came home from work, everything was NOT OK and the installers were still at my home. Evidently not all parts were delivered and the installer had to go to another local store to get silver chain link parts to totally enclose my yard for my dogs. The top of the chain link was uneven, they tore up some of my grass, didn't have the correct amount of fence to be removed and left part of it up, the fence wasn't tight and secured at the bottom as promised, placed tools on my plant, etc. As of July 19th the rest of the original parts are supposedly in including some stakes to secure the fence more, and the installer finally called me July 22nd to tell me that they are shooting for July 27th to come and complete their job. It took 3 calls to the 1-800 customer no-service line to finally get a store a**'t. mgr to call me so I could complain, find out exactly what was going on, and get money off of my purchase for my headaches! He apologized and we agreed that after everything was completed, we would arrive at a new price for my fence. Fence is finally completed and looks great! Definitely NOT worth the hassles I had to go through. I will say the store manager was very easy to talk to and gave me an additional 10% plus off my purchase.

They seemed courteous and concerned about me. The quotes were fine. However, I didn’t use their services. I am not sure if I will use them again, since I never used them before to do the work.

Then I was told it would be installed in June 2008. Their contractor came with the wrong door and wrong measurements and had to remeasure. Then I had to wait for the whole thing to be remade. By the time the door was finally installed it was mid October 2008. Also, the new contractor who put it in somehow got the alignment with the lock incorrect so now it does not slide evenly. The only way I can open the door is to pull the door towards me very hard and then turn the lock. This is very annoying because if I am carrying anything, I have to put it down on the ground and then use both hands to open the door and then pick everything up again. I've never been able to get this fixed. I do not recommend ordering any home improvement with this Lowes after March of the year, because if you do wait, after that, they may tell you they are booked solid for the entire summer and you may not have your improvement completed until the fall.

Instead of buying new cabinets, we decided to replace the countertops with new granite countertops. Lowe's was there each step of the way. We saw all different types of materials and grades. We decided on a gray granite and we couldn't be any happier. They sent people out to measure and about two weeks later we had our countertops installed. Their staff is great, knowledgeable, courteous and professional all the way.

THIS COMPANY WAS COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL IN THEIR DEALINGS WITH US. THEY CAME IN AND LAID THE FLOOR QUICKLY. THEY CLEANED UP SOME OF THE PIECES. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB.

THEY WORK WITH YOU TO MAKE SURE YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT AND NEED. THEY SENT ME THE WRONG DOOR, BUT THEY HAD SOMEONE COME OUT THE NEXT DAY TO LOOK AT IT SO THEY COULD REORDER THE RIGHT ONE. THEY DO HAVE GOOD WARRANTIES.

I COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER JOB THEN THE JOB THEY DID FOR ME. THE PEOPLE AT LOWE'S WERE PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES. THE PEOPLE THAT THEY CONTRACTED TO DO THE JOB WERE EXPERTS. I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK LOWE'S DID FOR ME.

ONCE YOU HIRE THEM ONCE, THEY WILL BE THE ONLY COMPANY YOU WOULD EVER LOOK AT TO DO THIS KIND OF WORK EVER AGAIN. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB AT MATCHING THE NEW CARPET WITH THE OLD.

THEY DID GREAT WORK AND DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO. THEY FIXED WHAT THEY NEEDED TO IMPROVE ON. THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE EXPENSIVE, BUT WE GOT WHAT WE WANTED.

THEY ARE A GOOD LOCAL BUSINESS. THEY DO QUALITY WORK. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO OTHERS IN THE AREA. THEY HAVE REAL NICE PEOPLE WORKING FOR THEM.
