Keith was responsive to changes requesting additional work as we got closer to our open house (selling home), brought in help to get all the rooms painted and the house on the market. Showed well.

Keith was very accommodating when scheduling his visit for estimating the work. He outlined exactly what the Groupon covered and discussed with me the additional work I wanted done. I received a quote for the additional work by email. Keith worked around my schedule when arranging the days his team would come and paint my two rooms. All the work was performed on the days we agreed on. Before they sealed the cans of paint, I was asked to walk around the room and let them know if I saw any places I felt needed to be re-addressed or touched-up. The painters did not leave until I was satisfied with the walls. KS Painting cleaned up after each day's work and they even cleaned my window before they left.

I didn't like that they charged us to move the furniture for them to paint. I was surprised about how much more we had to pay over the deal price. They are polite and efficient. Their painting was very good. There was no random spots of paint where paint shouldn't be.

They arrived on time and ready to go. They were very professional and friendly and answered all are questions. They were neat and did not make a mess and cleaned up after the jobs were done.

Overall it went just fine; Keith showed up on time the first morning and got to work immediately patching/sanding the walls and moving any items that were still in the way. He ran to Sherwin-Williams to purchase the paint, and painting commenced within an hour of their arrival. Much of the work was completed the first day, with several coats being applied to most of the lower rooms. Their return the second morning was also prompt, as they set about fixing any issues from the previos day, and finishing up the second floor. They finished the entire job in the two-days alloted and within the quoted price. That being said, one of the few issues I had was that the quoted price didn't include any of the baseboards and other trim work around the doors. Any attempts to press the issue were met with a general reluctance to even consider the trim. The quoted/paid price was still very fair, but when that piece was removed it wasn't as great as it could have been. Still, overall, it was a good experience and I would use KS Painting again in the future.

Keith was courteous and punctual. Unfortunately we found his estimate more than we could afford--more than $800 more than the painter we ended up hiring--so we ended up going with someone else.

K & S Painting Services at 4411 Longmeadow Ln, Beavercreek, OH 45430 did a fine job painting two interior ceilings at our home. Keith came out and did a pre-assessment of the work. On the day the work was to begin, he noticed some damage to one of the ceilings that he had not spotted previously. He took it in stride, repaired the spot, had the work done within the time allotted and on budget. Further, he returned in a week or so to check on the quality of the work.

Excellent work. KS Painting exceeded our expectations. He is personable and honest. He did a quality painting job of two difficult rooms at a reasonable price. .

After finding this company on Angie's List, I had trouble reaching them by phone. Email turned out to be a much more effective method of reaching him: keith.shackleford@sbcglobal.net. We had to reschedule once due to weather delays, but I was flexible on when the work needed to be done. His pricing was reasonable, and I am very happy with the finished result. I would definitely use his services again.

Keith performed an estimate on the same day I called. He arrived on time and carefully listened to what our needs were. He was very helpful in suggestions and the outcome was perfect. He left us with a full colorchart to choose from, and followed up on the exact colors we wanted. Keith will be returning to do more outdoor trim painting. We are very happy with Keith's service and professionalism. Keith's original estimate was exact at the end of the job and more than reasonable. Highly recommend this service.

Arrived very promptly at the time specified, communicated very well as to what they would do, and did they job in a very professional manner.

I'm going to make a long, miserable story short... Before he arrived, my husband and I moved furniture out of the rooms, took drapes down, took switch plates off the walls and had done everything but tape and paint for him. We did everything to make his job as easy and simple as possible. On the first day he arrived late and made a mess with his dirty drop clothes. I had leaves and dirt all over my hallway and main bath and even in my tub. I also had foot prints on my toilet lid and had to ask that he not stand on my toilets. I noticed lots of drips on my walls, no paint in the corners, only one coat of trim and just sloppy work in general. When the sun hits the walls just right, you can see lots of sloppy roller marks. I thought things would get better but they never did. When he quoted the job, he said he would paint our light switch and outlet covers. We ended up doing that too since he refused to primer them first and roll the paint on. He said the paint had primer. I called Sherwin Williams and they said that plastic should be primed first, just like I thought. Our porches look like they only have one coat of paint, not two. I repeatedly told him that our doors were fiberglass and to please paint "with" the grain, not against it. There are so many spots on my doors where the paint overlaps and looks gummy and spots where he just missed. My husband also had to touch up our mailbox because that was painted so sloppily too. My husband took a day off of work to fix all of the paint mistakes indoors. I have been fighting with him to come back and do the outdoor work over and can't get him to come back. He made two appointments to come back last week and paint the porches and did not show up for either day. I had to threaten with contacting Angie's List and BBB and I finally heard back from him. Again, long story, short, this guy made me fight for what should not have been a problem at all; good work, good customer service and coming back ASAP to fix his mistakes. By the time he finally agreed to come back, my husband and I were so upset that my husband just told him not to come back. If you want someone that is not prompt, that does very sloppy work, (we have the photos to prove it) leaves drips all over your walls, misses lots of spots, tries to get away with one coat of trim, doesn't let paint dry between coats, makes a mess in your house, that uses dirty drop clothes, won't come back to fix his sloppy work, makes appointments and doesn't show up, then this is your guy! If you are the slightest bit "picky" about wanting your paint job to look professional, no roller marks, no drips, nice taping job so your trim remains paint-free and someone that is prompt, reliable and will issue a refund if you are not happy, then you better hire someone else. We were not treated as though "the customer is always right". This turned out to be a very stressful, awful situation. I guess we have to hire someone to fix the outdoor work or do it ourselves. The photos speak for themselves and it's too bad I could only post 10 because I have a lot more!!! UPDATE: I have read the response from KS PAINTING and find it quite humorous. I was told by Keith how many people DO NOT move furniture or do HALF of the things my husband and I did for him and he appreciated it. He said many of his customers don't take things off of the walls and they even leave there dirty clothes on the floor. Thanks for telling all of Dayton about me having a chronic illness, that was much appreciated. I never told you to bother me while you were working at my home; I was up and waiting for you the first day even though you were late and the second day you were 30 minutes LATE, so I left a note on the door and told you to come in. It was when you finally decided to that you were going to come back and you wanted to talk to me and have me sign a paper that I told you not to bother me, to do your work and leave. We didn't have time until two weeks later to put our bedrooms upstairs back together and that is when we noticed how bad the painting job was and then we went downstairs and started looking closely at the entryway and bathroom and just kept finding more and more sloppy work and that's when I started taking pictures and notified Keith. Keith, the ENTIRE ceiling DID NOT need to be painted to cover up the pink paint and you know it. You used the ceiling paint that I provided to get the green paint off of the ceiling in the entryway before you painted it yellow, per my instructions. You should have done the same in the pink bedroom BEFORE it was painted beige but you take every short cut that you can. My husband touched up the pink paint with the white ceiling paint and it looks great. HE DID NOT HAVE TO PAINT THE ENTIRE CEILING. The WHITE bedroom and bathroom were painted when the house was built and BEFORE THE TRIM WAS PUT UP. So the blue paint that is all over the trim was done by you Keith. Joe and I and our previous painter tape the trim perfectly and any paint on the trim was done by you, all you have to do is look at the other paint jobs around the house and look at the trim and there is no paint. You made an appointment to come last wednesday, Sept. 5th, between 1-2 and you were a no show. Then you said you would come on Saturday, Sept. 9th, at 2 and you were a no show. YOU picked these days and times and I said, "yes" to accomodate you. You had no intention of coming back until I threatened you with contacting Angie's List and BBB of Dayton. You made me fight with you to get you to come back and saying anything other than that is just not TRUE. My husband saw the stress you were causing me, he had already fixed the majority of your work and just didn't want to deal with you anymore. You could NOT pay us to have you do work for us. I cannot speak for your other customers, all I can say is that the photos speak for themselves. You clearly do not take any pride in your work. You just want to do the work quickly, get it over with and leave. If you would have immediately come back after receiving my email with my complaint and the photos, all this could have been avoided. But you treated us as though we weren't important enough for you to get back to and then to make TWO appointment and then NOT show up??? Again, this has all been a nightmare.

Keith did a very nice job on the house with a Groupon deal. Our house was pretty dirty - 30 years of grime had built up on the siding and a little bit of algae/moss/mold - you name it. He ended up having to get a heavier duty machine to give a little extra pressure, and it really made a difference. That saved a good bit of water, which was important because we are on a well and it's been so dry. The house looks white now! He went all around the house to see places that needed to be pre-treated, and tucked plastic into some areas that had siding gaps. Afterwards, we walked all around the house to make sure everything was cleaned. We had a couple of hiccups in the scheduling process, but they were taken care of with a few emails. Good work :-)

Keith was punctual and professional. We agreed for him to come at 0800 and he was about 15 min early so he sat outside and waited until 0800 to make sure we were ready. He came to my house with another painter and they painted a stair way with 14 foot walls, two bathrooms and a hallway with two coats of paint in the span of 4 hours. When complete they cleaned their mess and I could not find a spot in which they dropped any paint. These guys did a great job and would recommend them to anyone. I will be calling them again for my painting needs

I found Keith on Angie's List. He was responsive and professional. We communicated via email to set up the estimate. And when i decided to go with him he continued to communicate via email. I like the email methods better because I have a record from all my contractors and electronic versions of their bids easily accessible in my inbox. Keith was happy to do that too. He took his time to make sure everything was done right. We did the entire main floor and the stairway going up. We discussed changes in real time and he made a few suggestions as well. I would recommend him and use him again.

Mr Shackleford did a wonderful job. We were espcially impressed that he arrived on times or a few minutes before each morning, worked constantly while here, cleaned up aftr himself--and maintained a friendly, helpful attitude through out. Highly professional and I would recommend to anyone!

K S Painting Services were very professional, they were prompt, very resonably priced, and they did a wonderful job.

The painters Keith and John were friendly and very professional. Before they arrived, I scheduled that painting day. At that time, I found out that the special did not include paint. Keith did tell me he uses Sherman Williams paint and that he could pick up what he needed for the painting of both rooms and I could pay for the paint when he was finished. I also found out at that time that the special one room painting did not include painting the roof of the room and that it did not include the painting of the the trip or doors. These were additional costs. Once they arrived, they were very professional and cordial. After we figured out what to be painted, I found out that the trim would have to wait due to a carpet cleaner coming in later in the day to clean the carpets. The painting of the rooms were okay and not to our satisfaction. We did have them come back out to put another coat on an accent wall in both room due some discolorations in the painting. The accent wall did not have very good straight lines between the corners and parts of the accent wall had drip lines. Not sure if we would use this company again as there are too many additional or not advertised costs. Thought I would be spending under $200.00 for rooms to be painted and ended up spending over $500.00

Things got delayed because of rain and my schedule, but once the job was started it was finished quickly. I would definately recommend them and even had them check some things in the house for a possible future project.
