They did an excellent job. The house was left in excellent condition.

They ended up charging $900, which was a lot more than the stated deal. They were to paint two small bedrooms, a bathroom, and the closet. Even when I was explaining to them the colors and everything, I offered to write it down. They insisted that it was unnecessary. It wasn't a complete job. When I called him to come out and fix it afterwards, he did but left early because he had another job to go to. They knocked over paint on the carpet. They were supposed to paint the closet, but due to painting the ceilings the wrong color, they ran out of paint and couldn't finish the closet. Now I have a half painted closet. They did a poor job painting the trim as well. I would not use them again.

Went very well. Great job of prepping & repairing walls and ceilings prior to painting. Finished 2-story high foyer and 3 connecting rooms. The owner started the crew each morning and personally inspected the job when completed. He touched up a couple of minor spots. We are completely satisfied with the work.

They are just great. We chose the painting design ourselves. They were very professional, and they managed to fit us in their schedule. They wanted to come in May, but we asked them, and they managed to come earlier. They offered us the least price.

Great communication and excellent job done well. Cleaned up afterwards very professional. Not one complaint. Would highly recommend.

I had previously hired KS Painting Services several years ago so I contacted them when the south and west sides of the house were showing some weathering. They came out to prep and paint and found that there were boards that needed to be replaced before painting. It took them a whole day to prep which was not expected. They came back two other days (working around the rain) to finish the job. I completely trust Keith to get the job done right. His estimate was a fair price and he did not charge more when the job actually required more prep work and replacement of some of the wood. I kept in contact with his wife, Sharon, who schedules the jobs throughout the process. I would definitely hire them again and am actually going to have them paint my deck next with Restore.

The company came out to look at the work needed to be done and then never returned. I did not end up using this big deal.

The service went fine. I paid additional fees to have the entire of the house painted. A crew of 5 came out and completed the job in about a week and a half. They have reasonable pricing. It did take a while to get them scheduled out because they are pretty busy in the summer.

I was told the company was trying to contact me by phone but could not. Nobody else is having trouble calling me. They wanted to schedule somebody to look at the job and give an estimate. I don't know why this was required when I was hiring painters for 8 hours of work not for accomplishing a specific job. I just needed them to paint for 8 hours like the coupon said. At one point they contacted me asking if the work had been scheduled. This was right after I had talked to them about scheduling the estimate. I thought that was strange. I was contacted via Angie's list today saying again they did not have my phone number. I paid for the service on 9/5/14 and by 10/4/14 the service had not been performed.

Contracted with KS Painting Services to paint the exterior of our home and garage in Dayton. The exterior of the home was in pretty bad shape. Pealing paint, rotting wood, etc... This was a very big and difficult job. They arrived on time on the date they originally scheduled with us. Six workers showed up the first day to get started on the prep work which was a 4 day job in itself. Everyone was very kind and professional. They did their best to keep the area clean at the end of each work day (which was a challenge). With some small setbacks for weather...the overall project was completed in approximately 2 weeks. This included repairing many areas of rotted wood on the home....siding, window sills, etc... Halfway through the project it was determined that a rotting post on our front porch was worse than originally anticipated. KS quoted us a price to replace the post and re-adjust the porch that was sagging. Their price was more than reasonable. They repaired the post and adjusted the porch with little to no increase in the overall time on the project. All of the woodwork repaired on the house looks great. Its hard to tell where the repair actually was which is a testament to KS quality of workmanship. With any project of this size there are bound to be some issues. In our case the issues were very minor cleanup related things. Keith himself came out to inspect the job at completion. He recognized the issues and was back (himself) early the next morning (on a weekend) rectifying the situation. Overall we are very satisfied with KS Painting Services and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing their house painted. They were very responsive and Keith made sure we were happy with their work before he considered the job finished. Great guys to work with!

Everything went great! I purchased the Angie's List deal of $199 for 8 hours of painting and Keith came out to do the assessment of the project - which was to paint the walls and ceiling of our 2 car garage. I was then able to schedule the service with them and they were on time and prepared for the job. I paid separately for the paint - $160 for 5 gallons of paint and primer in one. Two guys completed the job in 4 hours and they cleaned up afterwards too. The garage looks great and I'd use them again in the future.

We chose and purchased Restore paint designed for a long-lasting finish - it is a very thick paint and goes on with a concrete feel. Our deck is about 600 square feet. KS largely finished the job in one day. They removed all the items off the deck and then after a few days following the initial painting, purchased another gallon of paint for touch-up and then replaced the items back on the deck. They were professional and accommodating and all went well with the job. We would recommend them to others.

The painters did a great job, but it took awhile to get an appointment (the time from purchase to completion). There was some miscommunication in setting up an appointment for the estimate (he was late as he went to wrong address).

They did a good job, I have a big kitchen and lots to cut around. The painters were very professional and nice.

KS Painting was prompt to quote the job, prompt to schedule, and exceeded my expectations. They were on time each day, worked hard to get the work done. My job was difficult because of the amount of heavy furniture and detail they to manage but they did it all and considered it part of the job. The work was tedious, and even when the paint had to be primed and repainted, no fault of theirs, they did it and made it look the way it should. I am very satisfied, and if you use them, I'm sure you will be as well.

Played phone tag at first but once the appointment was set things went smoothly. The painting was great - nice job trimming in. They painted the door trim (wasn't crazy about but glad they did it). Provided the paint and left was they didn't use for touch ups.

KS Painters called to let me know they were on their way and arrived at that time. I believe 2 crews actually showed up. I had purchased the coupon for 2 painters for a day. Keith had given me a very reasonable estimate to paint the 2100 sq foot house so I had hired them for the entire house and estimated price. There were at least 4 and I believe 5 painters so they were able to do the entire house very quickly since it was almost empty. They were very considerate of my personal items and my pets and took care of some spots that had been missed filling holes. Since they had lots of people painting they were done quickly in a very professional quality way. Great Job! I have already recommended them to my daughter for her rental properties.

1. I promised to have all the rooms cleared of furniture and the dogs taken to another location. 2, House is now totally torn up and I slept on the couch. He cancelled the morning he was due to paint. Came the next day which required another night on the couch and I had to take off work. (lost pay.) Sharon was very polite and promised me a deep discount for future painting. 3 Found that his worker got paint on the ceiling, did not fill holes in walls, and left 2 spots without any paint. 4. Keith is always slow to follow through on his commitments: such as coming to evaluate problems, contacting me at agreed times and failing to give me timely estimates. 5. My husband screwed up one wall by steam cleaning it. Keith came and repaired and paid for another gallon of paint. This was a plus. 5. Finally got estimate today (have waited 3 weeks). It is extraordinarily high in my book especially after reading some of his reviews for similar work done and clearly did not get a deep discount. 6. I'm sure we annoyed each other since I was not a placid customer. Hence, the high estimate and a way to cut the contact. 7. While searching for another painter, discovered that Keith is offering a Special Offer which is 8 hours for just over $200.

KS Painting Services came to the house and provided an email estimate which we accepted via email all within 2 business days of contact. The team arrived as scheduled and painted the family room, living room, kitchen, dining area, 2 of 3 bedrooms and 1 of 2 bathrooms. The house was empty since we were selling but they covered all the floors and rugs with clean drop cloths and taped all the woodwork to avoid any paint splashes. They fixed all the nail holes in the walls, the nail pops in the ceilings as well as a few larger gouges in the walls--all were professionally done and were invisible once the painting was complete. The painting was well done, the team was very professional and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. We paid exactly what was estimated. The house looked so good that we had them return to paint the additional bedroom and bathroom a few weeks later. We had an Open House scheduled for 17 Aug 14 and they successfully accommodated our followup job so we had the house painted in time for the Open House. Lastly, the scheduler was very accommodating, polite and patient with our many questions. We would definitely use KS Painting Services again and would recommend them to our friends and family.

The owner came and provided us with an estimate for the work to be done. I merely picked out the paint color I wanted and they did the rest. They arrived very promptly and began to work immediately. The crew was extremely professional and courteous. They moved the heavy furniture to the middle of the room and made sure it was all covered since the ceilings were painted too. When they were done, all furniture was put back into place as it had been. They were very fast and the job they did is superb. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!

The price shown here was for painting only. We supplied our own paint (though we were able to use their discount at Sherwin Williams to get $20 gallons of paint) and we also finished the walls. They were very professional and were very clean, leaving no evidence they were here. One thing to point out is how well they edge. From ceiling to around trim, it's clear the painters are true professionals. Sharon is also extremely polite and super responsive. Honestly the best experience I've had with a contractor. I will have all my painting done with this company in the future.

Keith and his staff were very professional and came through big time for us in a pinch. The finished product was very much to our satisfaction and we plan to hire them again for some future projects.

I am very pleased with the work provided by Keith and his crew. It started with me contacting Sharon to set up a quote; Keith was right on time, and I received the quote the following day. I was pleased with that procedure as it meant that there was actual thought that went into it and not something off the top of his head. As the scheduled day approached, Sharon contacted me concerning color choices, and I supplied her with the information. On the appointed day, Keith arrived with a two-man crew, and they set to work power washing the deck to remove all the lose/chipped paint. They spent approximately two hours power washing the deck to ensure that it was a thorough job. Once that was done, Keith started painting the deck and the crew moved upstairs to start stripping the wallpaper. This is a 150 year old house with plaster walls. In some of the other rooms, we had found as many as four/five layers of wallpaper. They lucked out - there was only one. Once the paper was down, they repaired some of the imperfections on the plaster walls so they would have a smooth surface to work with. The next day they painted. It was a two-tone paint job with an accent color for the chair rail. They made sure that all the furniture was covered (antiques) so as not to get paint on any of it, and proceeded to paint. I love it. And as soon as I finish the decorating I will post some pictures. All of the people of KS Painting were extremely professional, friendly, and I will gladly hire them again.

I got them from Angie's List and they are coming Friday. I'm emailing his wife back and forth. For one thing there was a coupon from Angie's List. Then I had three come out and quote who were not from Angie's List, two of them were local people. They were by far more reasonable so I'm hoping for a good job.

The guys arrived on time but had to wait on the paint which was being picked up by the owner. The staff helped with moving the furniture and making sure all of the painter's tape was in place. They moved quickly once the paint arrived and was able to get done in a 4-5 hour period. The paint job they did was great and we would use them again. The price was great and service was too...
