They were great then. Needed them again in 2013. Called over a dozen times, left a message each time, never got one call back. Have no idea what the problem was. My ratings and evaluation are based on good experience in 2007.

He is a very small business man who has been ok this far. He came out and gave me an estimate and asked me what I wanted done. He gave me the price for the job after which I could have accepted or rejected. He has the basic and specialized tools but not the giant equipment. He showed up on time and gave me a reasonable and good price. He is always here at the time he promises to come. He gave me a schedule when the work could be done by and promised what the people who were gathered could provide and nothing more. He is good and honors his promises. He is unlike other people who I called out for estimates who never showed up. I would use him again in the future.

There were delays because of the weather and asphalt availability between pouring the concrete ramp and replacing the asphalt driveway. I would have appreciated earlier warning as to when the work would be done. Cleanup afterward was inadequate but Mr. Kirk came back two days later to check on drainage and completed cleanup satisfactoriy.

In 1999, I got 3 estimates to re-asphalt our driveway. Ed Kirk was the only contractor of the three who recognized that we had water coming into the garage when it rained, and he told us how to correct it. We hired him for that reason. He successfully fixed the drainage problem, and water no longer enters the garage. The driveway is ten years old now and has no significant holes or cracks. Ed sealcoated the driveway for us in 2007 and again in 2009. Ed Kirk knows his business but he is still willing to listen to what you have to say. He is dependable and shows up when he says he will. I plan to give him all my asphalt and concrete work in the future.
