Description of Work: I hired them to repair a large brick patio and brick walls around it and a second smaller brick patio. They were by far the highest bid but seemed to pay attention to detail and assured me that everything would match up when finished. Communication was a definite weakness - after initial contact with them (and no contract or written confirmation) I did not hear anything for a couple of weeks then came home one day after work to find their trailer in my driveway. The job took quite a bit longer than initially indicated. | |While their work was good, when I had questions or concerns they were a bit dismissive and either offered excuses or indicated that is just the way it is done or that nobody could do it any better. When I had concerns with the finished work the owner started shouting at me loudly enough for neighbors to hear. Again, the finished work is good and I do believe they did put in a good amount of effort but some details don't match as well as they initially indicated they would - the excuse was that the grout was weathered, the bricks initially used for the patio are no longer available (things I would expect the experts to know and point out when initially bidding on the job) or a different tool was used initially. I believe they thought I was too detailed or picky but the details and top notch work are why I agreed to the much higher price. | |In short the work is ok but not as good as promised or expected for the high price. Description of Work: Repaired corner block of foundation that had hole in it from water damage. It required pulling up about 50sq ft of pavers, running downspout drainage beneath patio and then putting all the pavers back. They also replaced a limestone cap on a brick post that houses a light fixture. | |They did a great job.

Description of Work: They replaced some vertical mastery joints with caulking.

Description of Work: They had to jack hammer and remove concrete adjacent to garage in order to install a footer underneath the foundation. The existing footer was sinking.

Description of Work: I had several bricks crumbling in my front steps and the mortar looked uneven and worn. Plus several rocks in our rock walkway were coming out and needed replacing. Kettering Masonry replaced about 30 bricks in my front steps and refinished the mortar on all the others so that it looked even. They also re-cemeted the stones in our walkway and steps.

Description of Work: Was trying to have them check the bottom of my chimney

Description of Work: On 8/02/2012 a man from the company can out and gave me an estimate of $200.00 to repair three loose bricks in various locations on outside of my home. He stated this was a small job and only about two hours to complete. After deciding the price was O.K. I scheduled the work with him for 8/16/2012. He was going to have someone call the day before to let me know around what time the repairman was going to show up. During the estimate the employee was eager to inspect my chimney. I declined the offer.

Description of Work: Rebuilt failing 6 ft retaining wall and adjoining 25 x 15 patio
