They were really thorough and professional. They were smart enough to suggest things that I wasn't smart enough to ask about. They found that the house was not adequately wired for all these upgrades. They said they could upgrade the overall wiring and add a new circuit breaker box with the upgraded connection to the existing DP&L lead into the house without having DP&L come in and lay a new line at substantial expense and disruption to the landscaping. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They put the new lines in and put some additional outlets in where I wanted them to. They also installed the new cook top now that the line that would accept it was in. The old cook top took 30 amps, but we needed 40 amps. The door bell system and the cook top installation were part of their job and part of the price. I would use them again in the future.

Responsive to our initial call. Immediate estimate. Had to modify original request several times but they did so professionally and pleasantly. Workers arrived as scheduled, did the work professionally, cleaned up afterwards even to asking us for a vacuum cleaner, pleasant and clean.

The person I talked with on the phone was very knowledgeable and patient and was able to give me a price quote over the phone. Jason came out to do the work and it turned out that we needed several additional outlets replaced due to a faulty ground. I asked him if he could do the job without messing up his schedule. He was graciously willing to work a little later to complete the job with the additional requirements. He was very patient and knowledgeable. I feel confident about the job that was performed. I would definitely use them again.

I have had this company out to my house now a couple of times. Both times Adam was the electrition and he did a wonderful job. He was very professional and knew exactly what had to be done and went right to it. I felt very confident and comfortable with him doing the jobs and I didn't feel like I had to watch over him to make sure he wasn't cutting any corners. I found this company through Angies list and I am so grateful to have found them. I plan on calling them for all electrical needs in my home. I highly recommend this company to everyone.

I moved into my first house and after living in it for a few months I realized that I had some electrical issues. I knew that it had all the original wiring and the problems we were having were just an inconvenience (couldn't handle hair dryers on high power or if we had more than high-drain device turned on like a microwave or vacuum). I was also interested in adding outlets, interior and exterior lighting, moving some switches in the kitchen, etc. They met me and walked through the entire house with my "wish list" of things to do. I also told them that I was interested in doing things in stages if possible because I had a lot of other expenses that went along with being a new homeowner. They priced everything out for me individually so I was able to pick and choose exactly what I was going to be able to do and when I was going to be able to do it. They were very professional and quick in providing the estimate. Now I know exactly what items will cost and as the money is available I can have work done on the house.

Professional from start to finish. Cleaned up after they drilled to run wires. Very helpful in helping me to make decisions on what to do with what they found.

Went extremely well. Had to reset a sticky GFI breaker. Couldn't be happier and then no charge -- just part of their ongoing service after a previous installation in February.

In both instances, the service was excellent. Work was performed on schedule and within estimates. In both cases, there work areas were cleaned up after service.

They arrived on time, quickly completed a "walk through" to confirm the tasks to be accomplished, and went right to work. The work was completed on time and I was very pleased with the quality of their workmanship. They briefed me on the procedures to hook-up the generator and the new configuration of the circuit breakers. All changes to the circuit breakers were permanently recorded in the breaker box. The worksite residue was cleaned up and carried away so I had no mess to clean up after they left. The cost was a bit more than I had originally estimated but the it was quite equitable given the quality of the work. Highly recommended.

Went well. Serviceman shared info that we were unaware about with the lighting in one room.

It was an excellent experience overall. Jim Bonham came to give me an estimate and took his time to explain things to me. I had 4 estimates and his was the best and he also seemed very trustworthy, knowledgeable and professional. The electricians who came were on time and worked the whole time. The city inspector has been here and approved the work. I only had a slight qualm with the electricians who were more intent on completing the work than explaining everything to me. Admittedly, I ask a LOT of questions. Overall, I am very pleased and would use this company again.

Installation required enlarging the existing opening. Technician was efficient and neat, leaving no mess behind. He even offered to replace the insulation that had fallen during the installation process. That wasn't necessary, since the amount lost was very small.

Two serviceman arrived on time. They were very respectable and professional. The servicemen cleaned up after the work was completed and took time to answer all questions, making sure I understood exactly what was done and the process of the upcoming inspection.

There was a crew of four here most of the day. They were very professional in appearance and performance. The electrical breaker panel needed to be replaced because the old one was no longer UL certified. Because of building code changes the new panel had to be relocated adding to the complexity of the project.

Overall my experience went great. Their vehicles are clean and professional. The gentlemen that came over to do the estimate was knowledgeable and professional. My only complaint is their lack of promptness when replying by email. For example the guy apologized because he hadn't checked his email for a couple days. I guess if you are more of a phone person this is fine but I prefer contact through email in most cases. Anyway I would have Jeff Bonham Electric perform work for me in the future.

Very positive experience. They did only what was necessary, saving us money from the original estimate which was very appreciated. I walked through all the jobs with them when they arrived and if they had questions, they asked before starting in on a project. I would definitely use them again.

It went very well. I live out of town and this was an estate property. Though they only work Mon. - Fri., they were nice enough to send someone out to meet me there on an early Saturday AM to get an estimate for me. That was very helpful. They were able to schedule me in one week as I was under a deadline to get this fixed. One employee arrived around 8:30 AM and started and a second one arrived a few hours or so later. They worked pretty much nonstop in hot humid weather ... only took a 1/2 hour lunch break and finished up around 3:30 - 4 PM. or so. They were informative as to what they were doing and professional. All work was passed by the city inspector. I would definitely use them again. As I didn't have the time and luxury of shopping arround, I relied primarily upon Angies List comments and ratings before going with them. As such, I didn't have multiple price estimates for comparisons, but I'm told that pricewise it was reasonable and competitive for the amount of work performed. I'm very satisfied. They were quick, responsive, professional and everything works.

They were great from beginning to end. They were punctual for the estimate and work. During the estimate, Bryan noticed that we had exposed wiring outside! Their's was the most reasonable estimate. After the estimate, we contacted our furnace company and they recommended a 300 amp service, vs. 200. Bryan and our furnace contractor knew each other so they were able to discuss it among them and make sure we got what we needed to support the new furnace. Bryan made sure everything was to code and pulled the permits. Since the service was increased, the price increased. However, they were so apologetic and nice - and were very intent on helping us save money that we didn't spend that much more for all that we got. I was very impressed with their ethics and professionalism... definitely recommend!

Called the company two weeks ago to schedule. I did not get a call in advance to confirm the appointment. However, they showed up on time. The job was done in about 3 hours. they were very efficient, polite, and professional. They gave me their opinion on several other projects while they were here. The only negative was that we had to do just a little bit of cleaning up after they left. Compared to other contractors we have had, they were among the best.

They were great. They answered many of our questions over the phone right away. They came out and did the work quickly. They picked up all the trash and dealt with them. They were friendly and very courteous.

I called Monday morning and by 4:30 that same afternoon everything was up and running. The person I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and helpful. The man who did the work was polite, professional, and cleaned up when finished. I thought the price and service were extraordinary.

They came on time. The inspector had to come out twice as they forgot to check the wires in the basement and they left a big hole in wall in my bathroom. I was not very satisfied with their service.

We lost electricity ONLY in the living room while running a space heater. Also had a strong smell of smoke. After unplugging the space heater and checking the circuit breaker which did not "trip", the smoke smell subsided. Late that night, the electricity in the living room came back on. I called Bonham electrical company on Monday morning at 8:30 am. They arrived at 10:00, tracked down the problem, rewired a receptacle, cleaned up the ashes from the burnt wire and charged us $85.00 complete. We were very happy with the quick response, the professional service, the neatness, and the price (not to mention the peace of mind). We highly recommend this this company!

These guys were amazing. The first time they came to fix the required job, they were on time, they called before they came, they explained everything in writing and in detail to my wife (I was gone). She said that she hardly knew they were there. The second time I called them back because something that they had said they had fixed (an outdoor outlet) was not working. They came out, again were on time, they basically flipped a small button in the basement and the outlet was working again. I did not pay them, assuming the call would be free. However, the error was my fault, as they had explained before how to test the outlet on their previous visit. Still, I received a call from the owner, explaining everything and why they had to bill (to cover their own expenses). BUT, he cut the bill nearly in half because of the misunderstanding. Jeff Bonham was honest, very professional and very sincere. TRUST these guys, esp. if you are electrically illiterate, like me and my wife.
