Outstanding! I purchased a property that had not had electric service for over a year. The technicians came out promptly, provided an estimate, and completed the work on time, as estimated, and professionally. Shawn (in the office) also bent over backwards working with the city inspector to get the final inspection report to the power company to get the service restored as quickly as possible. I was very happy with the final results and highly recommend.

They were a couple of hours early. I was told they would arrive in the early afternoon. They quickly assessed the job, brought in the tools, did the work, cleaned up and were on their way in no time at all. I was so pleased.

Very satisfied with entire process from estimate through work being completed. Work was begun exactly when promised and completed in less time than estimated.

Bonham's excellent techs, Luis and Warren were punctual, and on arrival I walked Luis through upgrades and service needed. Luis initially worked on removal of the several decade-old breaker center, and did some prep work for installing a new cold water ground to bring up to current code and new circuits. Initially, Warren worked outside, disconnecting the power drop from transformer, removing the old mast, wiring, and meter mount. He installed a new, larger and much longer mast, ran new wiring to a new meter box, and from there through heavy PVC conduit into the house itself. He also installed an external ground rod, which had previously been lacking. All outside installation was very professional, neat and well sealed at all potential leak or ingress points; the mast (at least 4-5 foot longer - higher) was bracketed very securely to the house. Inside, Luis had mounted the new, larger breaker panel box, and started connecting existing circuits, installing breaker. Warren joined him to work on installing the two dedicated circuits, connecting the new cold water ground, etc. The whole job went quite smoothly, and having done some wiring in my past, I was very impressed with the quality of the work performed. Both gentlemen were quite personable, hard-working, and pleasant to have working on my project. They answered any questions that arose without any hesitation and very clearly. They are both a tribute to the Jeff Bonham crew. Kudos! In short, IMHO, Jeff Bonham Electric absolutely rocks. The job was accomplished in as timely manner, excellent workmanship, and on budget/estimate. Moreover, a couple quick calls to competitors confirmed that they were at or below other potential contractor's cost. Do's: Get pricing from Jeff Bonham, then hire them! Oh, and had electrical inspection this A.M., BTW -- passed unconditionally.

I was very happy with the service. They were on time and personable. They helped me even though they were backed up. They made sure my electricity was able to get back on.

Jason, the Bonham service rep arrived punctually, listened carefully to description, and immediately went to survey my input lines from the transformer. As had been suspected, the service neutral line was broken (which I had reported day prior to the power company.) After that, he examined my panel ground, which was partially defective, and had been compounding the problems in circuitry, to include three totally burnt out surge suppressors. Jason repaired the ground, confirming that it was a partial 'fix' and that the power company needed to fix the service to the house, repairing the neutral wirer. Jason was very personable, answered any questions. We discussed replacing my breaker panel amd installing a couple dedicated circuits. He called main office for on the phone estimates, which were quite reasonable. I had him schedule service update, as discussed, and was able to overhear the business office confirming estimates.

This was a great experience, wish I had started using Angie's list much sooner.

He was punctual, nice and respectful of my home. He cleaned up all trash after his job was finished.

The gentleman was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and fixed the outlets and installed everything with in 90 minutes. He spent most of the time finding the reason for the outlets not working. I was very pleased with the work. The only negative was they were a couple hours late, but I was told this was due to a miscommunication between technicians, each thought the other was taking my appointment. $70.00 was for the trip, so I felt the charge for all the work was very appropriate. Overall I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

The service men arrived on time. They spent the amount of time they said they'd be there. They worked non-stop through the day. They were courteous, neat, and their work was very professional and inconspicuous. While they weren't cheap, they were not overpriced, either. I would definitely call them again for any electrical issues and have already recommended them to a friend.

They came out twice. It was a great experience and there were no problems. Anytime we called them, they came right out. They worked very quickly. They didn't leave any kind of mess.

Overall job went smoothly. Installers were very competant and courteous. would reccommend them to anyone.

The after hours Saturday service call was $180 with no charge for the temp installed breakers. The external receptacle was $85, and the new circuit breaker panel was $1,125. Total cost of $1,390 included a $25 Angie's LIst discount. The electrician who came out on Saturday and the two-man crew who did the work on Wednesday were all professional, courteous, and even wore shoe protectors to avoid dirtying up the floors. Highly recommend!

I was very impressed with this company from the first phone call for an estimate to completion of the work.

The estimator (Bryan) was polite, punctual and quite informative. He asked great questions of me to better understand the job and provided great answers to my questions - just a nice, personable guy that I would trust my job to. Although, I think we may end up moving toward giving the job to one contractor to complete in full, if we decide to award multiple, individual trade contracts, I would definitely contact Bonham electric to handle the wires for us. Based on quotes received from others, the price quoted seemed reasonable but without other estimates for the exact work and without being able to evaluate quality, it's difficult to provide good insight on the price estimate. Although, as a note, the initial price quoted was for "everything you could possible imagine" and priced so unwanted, individual items could be removed while knowing how much would be saved.

With a deadline looming we contacted Jeff Bohnam Electric. Within hours Rob McCormick came out and looked at the project. By the next morning we had a proposal in hand. Their price was competitive so we scheduled the job for early the next week. The work was done promptly and professionally. After they completed the work, a separrate issue come up and they came out the next day to deal with it. Throughout our experience they were professional, readily accessible and responsive. We will contunue to use them for all of our electrical needs.

They were quick and efficient, and the work turned out real well. It was a good price. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

We had lost our power a couple of times and so I decided to research electricians who could perform the work on a backup generator installation, and over a period of 8 months I had 5 contractors provide quotes. When Jeff came out he was by far the most prompt, courteous, and informative of them all. We chose Bonham Electric not just because he had the lowest price but based more on the exceptional knowledge and advice he gave us which has already begun to pay dividends. Jeff spent all the extra time needed to completely explain everything and sound reasoning for all of his recommendations. Jeff also came out after the job was complete, inspected everything, and thanked us for giving him the opportunity to serve us! I have more electrical work to be done around our house and Jeff's company will get the work, I highly recommend Bonham Electric to anyone in need of an electrical contractor who can provide the information you need, the product you want for the best price call Jeff.

Due to the bad weather, we lost all our power for over a week. As there was no power, we couldn't do anything. We went and stayed in a motel. After things got settled, I came back to our house and everything was working except one bad circuit upstairs here. Then, they came out and it took them about 3 trips to find out what was the problem. They looked at the different things on trying to find out what is going on. They eventually found out the problem and got it fixed. I spent about $140 at the first time, little less than $100 at the second time, and about $140 or something at the third time. The quality of work is very good. They were really great. They were on time. They got here when they said they would. Their professionalism is very good. I would use them again in the future too. I talked to them and told them I have a few more things that I need to get done here this coming summer and I have already got them setup to do some things for me.

Went very well. I asked them to come out again to trade out the watt meter I insisted that I wanted with the one that I really needed. The initial cost for the first watt meter was $260 and the second installed was $80 with free installation. However, with the two Angie's List coupons they let me use ($25 off original total cost [about $3 off first watt meter] and $8 off second watt meter), it brought the total meter cost to $329. Since they had never put in a watt meter before (it was my idea) and I really think there was confusion on both parts on the costs agreed to, I can't really fault this company too much. But I did later did think costs for the watt meter being almost 19% of the overall cost was high. Nevertheless, I think they did an excellent job and appreciate their suggestions on various items/procedures that I had not known about and later contracted for them to do. They will definitely be the company I will call whenever I need an electrician.

My wife's family had previously called Jeff Bonham in the past for some work, so we thought we would give them a try. They came at the time that they promised and took a look at the situation. They gave us suggestions about approaches that they could take and helped us to select the option that was right for us. They were very kind in answering questions that i had regarding another wiring project that I was working on, and they also answered all questions that I had on the task at hand. They went about their work with a minimum of disturbance to the rest of the household and were very conscientious in cleaning up after themselves. The work looked very professional, and we have been quite happy with the end result. We will definitely be calling them first for future electrical work.
