We chose Jeff Bonham off of recommendations as well as their stellar ratings on Angie's List. It also seemed like they were experienced working in older homes with plaster walls, such as ours. I was extremely pleased with the representative who came to our house to do the estimate for the work. He was extremely courteous and gave us a lot of significant insight into the electrical workings of our house. He provided suggestions on what work would be beneficial and which projects would not be worth doing. Two representatives worked as a team to complete the projects. The sconce lights in the stairwells were connected to a circuit from the attic, so that proved to be an intensive job, fishing wires down the wall from the attic and carefully creating the appropriate-sized holes in the brittle plaster walls. The results are fantastic. The basement outlet for the water softener seemed to be a much simpler project and was also done very well. We asked to have a switch box in our basement stairwell recessed into the wall - the only issue I had with all of the work done was that the plaster chipped off, forming a bigger hole for the switch box than was intended. A regular-sized switch plate/cover was installed, leaving a good-sized hole in the plaster showing. What I was disappointed in was that the electricians did not mention this before leaving the job nor did they offer to fix this. However, when I called Jeff Bonham the next day, they were extremely quick to apologize and send the electrician out to remedy the situation. I appreciated this responsiveness! Overall, it was a job well done.

I called Jeff Bonham Electric after we purchased a new home that needed some electrical work done. Upon calling the office, they scheduled me right away to have Bryan come out and do the estimate. He was on time, and more than willing to meet me before I left for work on a weekday. He walked through the house with me and and was very knowledgeable on current code requirements. He e-mailed me a typed estimate the very next day. Stephanie in the office called me to confirm that I received the e-mail and to see if I had any questions. When we called back to schedule, we talked to Shawn and he answered all of our questions and assured us that we would not be left with out power for more than a couple of hours while the guys were working on the panel. Drew and Josh came out to do the work. They showed up on time, and were dressed appropriately, in a big truck with the logo on it. When they arrived Drew went over the job with my husband while Josh unloaded tools and material. They worked hard all day and were finished up by 4:30! No mess was left behind, not even in the unfinished part of our basement where the panel was moved. I am consiering calling them again soon to install can lights in our kitchen!! Professional, nice, clean work! Would recommend to anyone who needs electrical work done.

Excellent service from estimate, to clerical coordination, to execution.

Jeff Bonham has done two jobs for me so far, and both have been excellent experiences. The first was an emergency job after trees destroyed our power box to our home. They were very accommodating, performing this job before my second scheduled job. The second was moving breaker boxes at an investment property, plus installing all new receptacles in the property. The workers were always on time; any questions I had were promptly addressed; and I could always talk with someone who could help. I highly recommend using this company, and I plan on doing so for other electrical work.

They came in and were very professional from the start. They looked at the work that was needed and then started right away. They finished up quickly and cleaned up when they were done. I was very pleased with the service.

He did a very good job. He was very reasonably priced. The people who came out were excellent. It is hard to tell if they were out here to do the job because they did an excellent job.

Contractor answered all of my numerous questions, took the time to explain in great detail the options and differences between brands and models, and the price for the unit and the labor was within the same range as other quotes. Work was completed on time and the installers were very professional. Would do business with again and would recommend to others.

I lost electricity to a beadroom, a bathroom, kitchen lights and garage (yes, that breaker is a tad overloaded) and couldn't get the breaker switch to click on or off to reset it. Called 5 Electritians at around noon, all said they probably couldn't make it today, most said later tomorrow, one said Monday (this is Thursday), they'd call when they could squeeze me in, etc. So, I'm waiting around for call backs when the doorbell rang at around 3:15 (YAY!). Dennis diagnosed, replaced the breaker, answered some questiones I had and was done well within a half hour. I'm very happy!

We requested and received several quotes to install a whole house generator. Mr. Bonham came out the next day and we receiver a quote that same evening. He was very professional and offered / explained several options to locate the generator and the different sizes available. It was very clear that Bonham Electric knows what they are doing when it comes to whole house generators. We chose to go with another company only because they have done work at the house in the past. Both companies were professional, knowledgeable, punctual and the prices came in within $15 of each other. There is no doubt Jeff Bonham Electric is very experienced and would have done a great job.

He was very professional. He showed up on time and cleaned up. They were really great. We priced one other person for the job and it was comparable.

The installation went very well. The only hiccup was the circuit breaker popped when the microwave was turned on. They diagnosed the problem. Installed 2 dedicated lines ane we were good to go. No other problems.

Jeff Bonham Electric was on time for their quote and service. They were also friendly. One thing to note, the guy that quoted the job is not the guy that did our work, just something to note.We recommend that the scope of work is clear. We had a lot of separate items to take care of and we needed to communicate more than once with the work crew about where/how we had decided to do things. Overall the work went well and we would use them again.

This is the second time I've used Jeff Bonham Electric. I live in a 120 year old house & am renovating the kitchen and upstairs bathroom. Some of the electric had not been updated since1987; some had not been updated since it was installed. I had a long list of items I needed accomplished. The team that came out was professsional & efficient. They consulted frequently on issues that came up to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted/needed. I ended up adding a couple of items to the list which they did without any issues or problems. They completely rewired the entire kitchen & bath to include putting each room on dedicated circuits and removing all the old wiring (which had not been done previously). While removing the walls in the bathroom, we came across a wire that ended up being live. The team couldn't figure out where it went so they capped it and boxed it off, ensuring it was protected & safe.

Everything went really well with Jeff Bonham Electrical. I called (after hours) and left a voice mail. My call was returned the following business day. We scheduled an appointment. Ron the electrician came out right on time, maybe even a little early. He was very knowledgeable, he troubleshot the wiring, fixed the problems and even offered newer materials to meet todays standards and codes. He tested everything before he left. I could not be happier.

It went fabulous! I can't speak highly enough of Jeff Bonham & the guys that work for him. They completely replaced & upgraded the fuze box which hand't been updated since the 1980s. I still need some work done on the house which was built in 1890 & will definitely go w/Jeff Bonham.

They always respond very quickly. They are honest and I always feel comfortable with them. Their prices are reasonable. I felt like they do not try to sell you something that you do not need. I have always been impressed with them.

They guys that he sent out were good and quick.They were here early. They were in and out and cleaned up their mess. I couldn't tell they were here.

Brian arrived early and looked through the entire house, inside, outside and in the attic. He was clean, nice and professional. The whole inspection took about an hour and we feel very good about our new home's electical system. Brian recommended a whole house surge protector, a job we'll have done as we move in.

Overall My wife and i were very happy with the work that was preformed. The arrival time of the electrician was excellent, work preformed in a professional manor. The electrician helped unload new range from my vehicle, The cost was a little higher than i though it would be. Overall my experience was excellent and would use this service again

This was not a small or simple job but Bonhams did it promptly and did not exceed the cost of their estimate. They were prompt and professional and did great work. I will definitely call them the next time I need electrical work again.

I had the electrician repair several florescent light fixtures which were no longer working, test several outlets to verify that they were working correctly, and replace a circuit breaker in my box. Things went very well. The electrician explained what he was doing while he was working so I was able to gain an understanding of the effort involved. The circuit breaker repair involved a circuit which regularly tripped. The electrician explained that over time, a circuit breaker which regularly trips becomes more and more likely to trip more easily the next time it is stressed. Therefore, he recommended a new circuit. He reviewed the wiring in my circuit breaker box and determined that the wiring in my box (circa 1970 when the house was built) was no longer up to current standards and offered to provide me with an estimate to replace the box and rewire it, all of which I found very helpful as I knew I had a problem in this area as evidenced by the regularly tripping breaker. While he was able to repair my florescent light problem (which was the ballasts) as is, he also told me about newer, more efficient standards in florescent lighting which I might want to consider in the future. The whole experience was educational as well as productive.

Very well. Before calling an electrician I had replaced the circuit breaker for this particular circuit. This did not resolve the problem so I mistakenly assumed that the problem might be a burned out connection in a circuit box, all of which are in our attic and very difficult to get to and I could just imagine a technician spending hours looking for circuit boxes.Fortunately, the problem turned out to be nothing more than reconnecting a ground wire.
