Punctual, professional, patient (answered multitude of questions), qualified. Returned to diagnose a problem with installed light post, only to discover if was a problem in the sensor and not caused by them. Did not charge me an extra service fee. Took care of problem and was done in 10 minutes. I will definitely use them in the future for electrical needs. It was a pleasure to work with this company.

Outstanding. Mark Bonham came out to do the work. Very nice, very helpful did not pressure me into things I did not want and looked everything over. Did a great job with the installation and repairs. Could not have been nicer and prompt. They got me in sooner than usual due to problems with my schedule so they were VERY accommodating and came on time. Would not hesitate to use them again. I really appreciate it. Very pleasant experience.

We are very happy with the work done by the guys from Jeff Bonham Electric. The estimate was very professionally done and presented us with several options. The three guys that did the installation were prompt, professional, and courteous. They even used drop cloths to protect our carpets. They started in the morning and were finished by mid-afternoon. The work passed inspection by the county with flying colors.

Mark came for the initial service call on 7/1/13 - about 15 minutes late but very nice. He inspected the outlets and pump, finding no problems and assured me they could come back if they stopped working again. For landscape lighting he recommended replacement of two path light units with bulbs for the other fixtures (later evaluation by a different company determined path lights were working fine and did not need to be replaced). Mark determined the post light photo cell was not working and said he'd need to get a replacement part. He wasn't making notes while he was reviewing the landscape lighting but said he would write it all up for a final estimate. He told me someone would call, probably later that same day, to schedule the work to be done. I didn't hear from anyone for over a week, so I called and spoke with Sean. He was very nice and professional, apologized for the communication error on their part and said he would review Mark's information and get back to me with an estimate for scheduling. Meanwhile, someone else from Bonham came to my house (unscheduled and without calling first) to examine the landscape lighting again - my son saw him here and assumed I knew he was coming, but I didn't. When Sean called me back, he mentioned someone had been out to confirm the type of landscape lighting repairs needed and he provided an estimate for the landscape lighting, not mentioning the post light. I told him I'd get another estimate and let him know. I chose to have the landscape lighting handled by another company as the Bonham recommendation to replace the two path lights added an unnecessary cost plus I wasn't sure, after the initial miscommunication and unscheduled visit, that I wanted them to handle a project of that scope. I called Bonham back, spoke with Sean again and scheduled only the post light photo cell replacement (as the other company did landscape lighting only, not regular electrical work). Sean looked at the schedule and said Mark would be out to do that on 7/29/13. Paul came instead on 7/29 - no problem, also very nice and on time. He found the original photo cell was "not connected" and appeared to be hooked up to a remote control sensor. I told him I wasn't aware of any remote control device, so he asked if I wanted the photo cell hooked directly to the light without the remote and I agreed. I wasn't aware he had actually replaced the photo cell, so when I received the invoice, I called to clarify why I was charged for a part. I spoke with Sean again and he called me back after speaking with Paul, finding the photo cell was actually replaced. Apparently the old photo cell was part of the remote system and could not be re-used, but Paul had not made that clear to me at the time. In summary, communication errors seemed to be at the root of my less than positive experience with Bonham. Sean did respond promptly to the problems brought to his attention and all of them were always very polite and pleasant.

They came out and the work was right in the range of the estimate. They were here exactly on time and were very professional. I also got an estimate for further work that they will start on the 19th. The two guys that came out were Paul and Josh and they were excellent.

The job was handled very well. They knew what they were doing. It was a pleasurable experience.

The installation went smoothly and the Generac generator has worked perfectly. I am just now providing this review as I recently joined Angie's List. The installation was done professionally and Jeff took the time to provide us hands-on training. In addition, we recently lost power, the generator turned on automatically when it sensed the loss. The generator ran for most of the day. It is so quiet that I did not notice when the regular power came on and the system switched back to DP&L. There was no surge and the only indication was the digital clocks needed resetting. So I thought now would be a perfect time to submit a review. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, I would give Jeff Bonham Electric an 11-plus! We will continue to use Jeff for all our electrical needs and recommend him!

From the initial estimate to the actual installation, this company provided excellent quality work at a very reasonable price.

We had a complex European lighting design that needed to be installed in our dining room. The fixture had already scared away one local electrician who decided the previously agreed to price of only $50 would not be worth it. I turned to Angie's List to find a replacement electrician. The low voltage fixture came with transformers and all hardware. It had to be assembled before it could be mounted. The electrician took the utmost care putting down drop cloths and carefully wrapping each component with bubble wrap before attempting to mount it. One piece required adjustment which required some disassembly to make the adjustment. It was a time consuming job, but we were very happy with the results.

Figured out where the problem was and completed the repairs.

I consider providing an estimate a service. I contacted the company early in the week to come out to provide an estimate on rewiring my home. When I purchased it in 2009 the home inspector informed me that I would need to rewire the house due to its age and that it could cost up to $10K to have it done correctly. The morning 28 Jun 2013 I received my followup call to confirm the time of my appointment (2 pm). At approximately 1:50 PM i received a call stating that the technician was running a little late and that he could be there at 2:15 PM. I was out of the house (something came up and I had forgotten about the appointment) and I informed the caller that I wouldn't be able to arrive until closer to 2:30 so the technician could arrive at that time. I received a call back a few minutes later asking if I could arrive by 2:15 so that the tech could catch up on his scheduled appointments. I was unable to do so and arrive back home at approximately 2:25. The tech was at my home waiting. My initial take was that the tech sis not seem upset or frustrated that I was pushing his schedule back even further and did not seem to be hurrying at all. In the brief conversation to the door he seemed willing to do what was necessary to provide me with excellent service. I began to describe the issues I was having and he stopped me after a moment. He requested that I wait until he had a chance to see the main box so that he could understand what I was talking about easier. We completed that, I showed him a few other items related to that and described my concerns in detail. He took sufficient notes, asked probing questions to ensure he understood my needs, and made some minor suggestions as we toured the house. After ensuring I had no other concerns that I wanted to address he informed me that I would receive a written estimate on Monday 1 July. Monday morning I received a call letting me know that the estimate had been emailed to me. I checked my email and there it was and boy did I receive a shock. The estimate to complete the main work went from around $10K(Home inspector) to less than $1K (professional electrician). TO complete all the work in my home, both needed and desired the total is just over $2K and I can complete all needed work for less than $1.5K Had I checked into this before I would have been able to complete all the work I wanted and needed in my home. I will definitely use Jeff Bonham to complete the work.

They had a crew of two who performed the work and they arrived on-time when they said they would which was a major plus considering I had to meet them at the house prior to going to work. Upon entering the home both men put shoe-protectors on their shoes so not to trample dirt/water/mud into the house. (It had been raining all morning, so not sure that is standard practice) We took the time to walk the home and discuss the work in detail as well as the approximate amount of time it would take them to complete everything. The ceiling fan wiring/install was not something we had originally discussed prior to the crew coming onsite, so I was very pleased that they were able to perform that work on-the-spot. All of the items we discussed were addressed in an email prior to the start work (with the exception of the ceiling fan) and came with a price "range" for each item. It would've been nice to have a more solid, confirmed number; however, I understand that once they start working they may/may not find other surprises requiring more time to finish the work. Overall we are happy with the work they performed. Both men were polite and in work sponsored shirts, not random un-matching attire. As a side note: upon returning to the home approximately 4 1/2 hours later I was a little surprised to find they had removed their shoe protection. Again, not sure if it is standard or not for them to wear them. Also, since we just bought the home we are still getting familiar with the Honeywell thermostat in our living room. I know for a fact that unit was set to "off" since we are currently not living in the home (in the process of moving over), so I was extremely surprised to find that our AC was turned "ON" and running when we returned to the home. I don't know if this was something turned on by their crew to cool the home while working or if the thermostat has pre-programmed settings to run at different intervals. Without knowing the system I didn't feel right inquiring if they electively turned it on or not.

This went extremely well. They arrived right on time, and set about verifying what needed to be done. There were three electricians here all working for almost all day. They systematically went through the house and replaced outlets and switches, and the installed the new ceiling fans, and replaced one already there. They installed the new breaker box and verified and labeled each breaker. They provided answers to questions about future work we plan to have done. Overall, this was a rather remarkable job and was done very well.

A crew of 3 came on time worked professionally and politely finished in one day, cleaned up completely,all work done perfectly. I got 3 estimates and they were the cheapest. Jeff Bonham electric has done work for us before and I have always been very very happy doing business with them, very honest company. I was very pleased with the young men doing the work, they were very respectful and did good work!

Arrived promptly. Were very courteous and clean. Went right to work and were done within an hour and a half. The work looks great! Made certain that the lines were contained in waterproof housing. Very easy for the contractor to hook up both items to the electric provided. Neat and tidy. They saved me a good bit of money by finding a 'within code' solution to the limitations of my current panel. If I do decide to upgrade the panel for future projects - I will definitely be calling Jeff Bonham Electric. A very good experience!!

There was nothing that I disliked. Jeff Bonham Electric Inc. was prompt and courteous. In all stages of the work, they made sure that I understood what was going on.

Brandon called 30 minutes before arriving to let me know they were on their way. He and Josh arrrived promptly and started to work immediately. Both Brandon and Josh were professional, polite, and courteous in explaining what they were doing. Did an excellent installation with impeccable clean-up.

Exccllent service, very responsive to my questions and concerns. Restored usable power to entire front exterior of house. Very pleased with the work and I felt the price was fair for services rendered. Hopefully I don't need further work in the future, but if I do this is the company I will call.

The team arrived on time and after introductions got to work immediately. They were very professional and efficient in gathering their tools and equipment to perfom their work. Work was done much quicker than I expected and clean-up of all debris was done upon completion. My panel was labeled to properly reflect the new breakers and anything that needed to be moved to install the PVC was put back in its place. Garrett and Mark were very courteous and professional and answered all my questions.

Jeff Bonham Electric Inc were so good. The day that they came to replace it, they had to remove it and take it their place of business, when they brought it back I was not feeling well at all and I fell asleep on the couch. The workman woke me up when they were finished for me to sign that the work was done. He just continued on working as if I was watching him which I wasn't. They're extremely kind, efficient and pleasant to work with. They're great in everything.

They were very thorough and gave us pragmatic solutions to existing electrical installation. Bryan Farlow was very professional and pleasant to work with and will be scheduling follow-up work for us the end of the month.
