Description of Work: He took out a load bearing wall and placed a load bearing beam in my attic so I could open up my kitchen. He also did some drywall work and help install kitchen cabinets. He did a great job! I highly recommend him.

+ 2 moreJim Dorko did an excellent job on the porch remodel as well as the other items listed above. Because he is a custom-home builder he offered excellent suggestions on the finishing touches for the remodel. He is an excellent finished carpenter. He was always professional and proficiently cleaned the work site at the end of each day, which was important to me because I have pets. He was prompt and to task at all times. I would highly recommend Jim Dorko for any type of home remodeling, finished carpentry, custom structural builds or window/door installation. I was very satisfied with the quality of his work and prices.
Description of Work: Remodeled enclosed porch, replacing all window, floor and door trim, including installation of bead board on all nonglass areas and 24 foot brick wall and built custom-made decorative shelf with crown moulding. Primed and sanded. Replaced and installed three exterior doors, including replacement and customization of entryway door and sidelights configuration. Primed and sanded. Built and installed custom-made double swing shed doors. Installed crown moulding in master bedroom.
