I called last Friday and was told they could be out Monday. Monday when they didn't show up I called and they were apologetic and said someone had been on vacation Friday and whoever filled in hadn't set up the appointment correctly. Quintin came on Wednesday, gave me an estimate and returned Thursday to do the work. He was done in less time than he'd thought it would take, the outlets look fine, and he cleaned up after himself. I would definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: I had two electrical outlets installed, one each on both sides of a wall between my closet and bathroom.

Description of Work: Asked for an estimate to deal with electrical results of a home inspection. Company representative looked at the situation, was not sure how to solve the problem, except that it was going to be expensive, he said. Never saw a quote. Problem was solved cost effectively by Don Montgomery Electrical.

The 'no ground' problems took a lot of digging to find the problem, but he stuck with it until he got it done. The don't charge by the hour, but their rate is based on the job to be done, for example replacing an outlet is the same price whether it takes five minutes or twenty minutes. May seem like a more expensive way to go, but this way you know you aren't paying for wasted time drinking coffee, etc.
Description of Work: Repaired no ground on two circuits, and a reversed polarity on one outlet, installed required ground fault interrupt outlets in kitchen and bathroom.

Jahn quoted 3-4 times the amount of other electricians including those on Angie's List. Supposed to show up with truck to perform the work within one hour but arrived in a Camry and could not complete the work. Insulted my wife several times, didn't quote what we needed the first time, and still cashed the $59 check. Yes, we paid to get a ridiculous quote and be insulted in our own home. I would stay away from this contractor! Used another contractor and paid less than $800.
Description of Work: Quoted to add 3 circuits and rework 1 existing circuit within 5 feet of electrical panel.

This call was for an estimate only. In fact, the customer had canceled the day before to get other estimates. Then, they decided to get an estimate from us after all. We were informed that this was an estimate. I ran the estimate in order to keep our other technicians on their calls. I actually was instructed to send an email on the proposal. I submitted a couple of options for them to choose based on our conversation and electrical code issues. I did ask if the member could make the decision while I was there. She did not like that question and made it clear to me. I did apologize to her several times and tried to inform her as to why we ask the question. I did feel bad about upsetting her and let her know that. She did seem fine with it in the end and understood the question. She just let me know that perhaps is not a good question all the time. I understood her concern. In regards to the price of the other electricians, that's their pricing. I don't know who was going to do the work or how they were going to do it. I can only hope that they got the workmanship we were going to give them. We are a full service and installation service provider that maintains customer service personnel 24-7. We are a premium service company that maintains the property of our customers like it is our own. Some people do not value that level of service. I wish that the Peters would have called our office to discuss any concerns but, they did not. I did feel that the member was nice and can only hope that they received what they wanted.

They did a fantastic job.
Description of Work: Power went out in the family room and part of the kitchen. Found the problem to in the attic. We had the kitchen remodeled and the electrical work that company did (not Jahn) did not perform it correctly. Joe from Jahn did an excellent job correcting the problem. It took two days of work, of which one day was spent in the attic when it was extremely hot. I would use this company again if I have electrical problems.

I THOUGHT THAT THE ELECTRICIAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE MADE IT CLEAR THAT IT WOULD PAY OFF IN THE LONG RUN TO INSTALL A GOOD QUALITY PRODUCT. THE WORK TOOK ONLY TWO HOURS, SO I THOUGHT THE COST WAS REASONABLE.
Description of Work: HE REPLACED THE OLD EXHAUST FAN IN THE BATHROOM WITH A BETTER QUALITY FAN THAT HE SUPPLIED.
