Work was completed and was fine, however, rates were unbelievably high. No discounts either: no senior discount, no military discount, nothing!

Steven went to the site and removed the stools without my permission. After at least 6 phone calls, emails he called to ask for more money to make the necessary repairs. I reluctantly authorized the additional charges and was told he would be returning with the repaired seats that day (11/22/17), he never did. Now a week and at least a dozen phone calls and emails, he still hasn't returned our property. Stay Far, Far away from this guy.

Steven Black originally answered my call and accepted the work as outlined above. He went to the site to look at the scope of work and decided (without asking me) to take the stool tops to his shop to work on them. He then called me on 11/20/17 (after I left multiple messages for an update) to ask for more money to complete the job. I approved the additional costs and was told he would return the repaired seats on 11/22/17. He never did and now will not return my calls.

Same day response. Very punctual. Left kitchen counters, range very clean. Took everything removed with him for disposal. Would call again.

I saw Handyman 24Seven on both Angieslist and craigslist so I called him. He met with me an gave me a price which was acceptable and started the next day. I provided all of the material, bringing it as needed. He finished in 3 days hand the job was good enough to meet the needs of my incoming tenant. Water had been damaging the floor under the toilet in the bathroom for a long time and he pulled up the floor and sleeper rafters over the concrete sub-floor and replaced them, with new treated wood. He then put down Alerian laminate from Home Depot. The plywood floor was fitted very well and the laminate was well installed in the field areas. The edges were very tricky to conceal and I did not insist on moldings being fitted in all places it was necessary. It appeared they had done as much as they had estimated and were anxious to get away from the job and be paid. I was able to finish the final details to get the job ready to paint.

Steve Black, his son, and his son's girlfriend showed up ready to work. With supervision from Steve Black, his son removed the old floor, measured, cut, and screwed in new, treated wood planks. While the son was working on the floor, his girlfriend smoothed off the old chipped paint, and then proceeded to repaint our railing. A few spots were missed with the new paint, but in her defense, she was trying to work around her boyfriend who was working on the ramp part. All in all, it looks much better than it was, and we will be contacting them again when it is time to have the ramp floor stained.

This is not an easy review to write. One piece of the work, regrouting and sealing the master bath shower was done well. The other items ? not so much. One item was to replace a light switch with a dimmer switch. He claimed it was done, but the lower part of the switch was a full finger width distance from the wall. I had to complain to get him to fix it. The other item I was unhappy with was probably some of my fault. I had had the garage painted and wanted to have Plexiglas panels installed behind and on the side of a utility sink to protect the walls from water spots. I had purchased the Plexiglas, but had not considered the slope of the garage floor, so the panels did not fit snug to the sink all the way. Instead of bringing it to my attention so I could decide if I?d like to have the Plexiglas recut, he just went forward with gluing them to the walls ? a very sloppy installation particularly since I had told him explicitly how particular I am. As long as you have the time to watch everything he does and inspect his work at each step, you?ll be fine; otherwise I?d suggest you look for another handyman.

I recently purchased a very old house and the electrical was out of date and not up to code. I needed to get everything updated. They went above and beyond what was listed in the initial estimate without even increasing the cost. They were on time for the work and gave me a free estimate an hour after I called, very quick service. They were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them and I plan on using handyman24seven in the future.
