F & F Tree Service

Took down a tree and ground some stumps for us. They made very quick work of it. These guys are very professional and I highly recommend.

I have 9-10 trees in the back of my property that have become very crowded over the years and with a new home being built right up against that tree line, I wanted to find an affordable way to get the branches thinned out, give the trees some breathing room, get the branches that were hanging over my neighbors house, and get more sun into that back part of the yard. I knew I didn’t have the money to take down too many trees but had at least one clump of hackberry trunks that had already started falling that needed taking out. I talked to three different companies and got free quotes from all of them. The first wasn’t well known and the guy worked off a phone template and I felt he underbid himself and I wasn’t confident they would do all the work I wanted done. He also only quoted about half the trees I had. His quote came in around $2500. Next, I talked to F&F, who was recommended to me by my father and my younger brother. Daniel was great. He walked me through all the issues he saw, agreed about taking down the clump of hackberry’s that were falling, and was confident he could thin out the rest and allow the trees more breathing space and more sun in the back yard of my neighbor. On top of that he informed me that I needed to cut down by half the four Asian pear trees I have in my front yard, or they would split and fall soon. Overall, he quoted me $6000 for a total of 13-14 trees. I also got a quote from 3N1 Trees who also came highly recommended. 3N1 came in around the same price as F&F but was more focused on taking down a leaning hackberry that I felt they would spend less time on trimming the remaining trees. In the end I went with F&F due to Daniel’s knowledge and insight and his extensive pictures of work he had done in the past. He gave me confidence that his work would be thorough and meticulous. He also was confident he could balance out the leaning Hackberry that 3N1 was so concerned about and didn’t feel it needed taking down (3N1 quoted $3000 on that tree alone). I am very happy I went with F&F and will use them again in the future for tree services. He had a large crew that showed up a few weeks later and they started about 9am and finished up around 3:30pm. They worked efficiently and quicker than I expected, but with all the thoroughness they promised. The final result is a much more open backyard, but maintaining the beautiful tree line that we fell in love with when we bought the house. My Asian pears are growing back in healthy after their trim and my neighbor has also been very happy with the result. So, in the end I highly recommend F&F. While they won’t offer you the lowest price, their pricing is fair and guarantees the best job. I can also add that all my trees are doing very well, even with our hot summer. In past years my oaks and hackberrys would get sickly looking by summer with withered leaves and this summer they have been healthy looking and happy. This alone shows me that F&F know trees and how best to trim and shape them, not just hack away a few branches and call it done.

The back half of my tree died and it had to go. F&F gave me a fast and affordable estimate to remove the tree. It only took a couple of hours on a Saturday morning. They did a good job cleaning the place up afterwards too. I highly recommend them!

Great price, quick to get the work done. All the guys were super friendly (and funny). They took great care to remove the trees and brush. I asked they leave a few big branches and the mulched wood for me and they put it all in nice piles for later. I am hiring them again for my maple trees when I am ready.

The works for F&F showed up like a army ready to attack. They moved with a speed and effectiveness that was surprising. They provided a great value for the work that was done. I don't usually go online and leave reviews but they deserve two thumbs up and I would recommend them to anyone.

F & F Tree Service - After multiple estimates, F & F Tree Service was by far the most reliable, best insured, and professional service we were able to hire for our buisness. They took down 6 trees, grinded over 20 stumps, and hauled away brush! F & F has by far the best equipment in the city and knows how to use it to get the job done. We plan to use them in the future for our other properties as they the most professional service in the Beavercreek area that we could find!

Their very expensive but yet their very good, I trust them I've had other people here that you go oh my gosh what did I do, but these guys are very professionals have all the latest equipment's. They were good about doing extra little things that I needed here, cleaned out some stuff take with them that was not a part of their tree trimming part, I had a lot of old fire wood that was rotted and they took all that with them and just things like that, took anther extra small tree, they cut that down and took that away for me and that was extra above and beyond the other which they didn't charge me extra for and they took the roots out too. They are good about doing things like that for you, if you want extra things done while they were here.

Fantastic company and crew! I have a lot of experience with tree service companies (some not so pleasant, sadly). I am BEYOND IMPRESSED with F&F. Our neighbor had some trees taken down and I asked if we could use some of the wood for firewood. They were originally hauling it away. F&F not only cut it to firewood length (very helpful and unexpected since this took extra time), but also delivered it to my yard (above and beyond expectations). My back and hands were most grateful. Ed, Jeff, Kane, and the other men were professional, friendly, and hard working. They could have just turned me away as they are very busy, but they went the extra mile and didn't charge me a penny. Their efforts will be rewarded as they will receive all of my business in the future, as well as, all referrals. My neighbor's yard looks great as they cleaned it up very well. They worked quickly, but safely. After meeting for quote, F&F was not responsive. Ended up going with another company.

They did the job in 4 hours and did not damaged anything. They took special care to not damage my flowers.

there was a crew of six. They worked approx. 7-8 hours. The Yard looks great. The workers were friendly and knew what had to be done. We were pleased with the job. . It was completed in 1 day. There were 2 truck load of Chips removed that I saw. very little leave raking this year. I know I have 1 neighbor that is happy about less leaves. . .

Two men arrived, quoted the price and I gave them the go ahead to proceed. They removed the branch, sawed it into pieces, and cleaned up the entire area. The job was completed in a timely manner. They were courteous and I would definitely hire F&F again and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends/family.

I had very little complaints but everything happens pretty well. The timing was a little odd only because there was a weird circumstance. They showed up once and I had to have them a second time to do the job because they wasn't able to do the job for the first time. The price was also fine for what they did. If I had any complaints at all, then it was just that there was a little bit of yard damage but if you took out trees then you should expect some damage.

They did excellent work. They cleaned up after themselves. They have a good price. My neighbours used them and they’ve been happy. Punctuality was the only problem I have. They were supposed to call the day before. They just showed up and called that they were on my property and starting. I wasn’t quite ready. That was the only glitch in the whole thing. Punctually, they did show up. They just didn’t show up when I thought they were going to. Punctuality usually thinks somebody is going to be late and they were actually early. You have to wait for them to call you back. It’s not like that of a person in the office that you can talk to. I would use them in the future because I’ve got more trees going.

Daniel Islaye (sp?) Is the consummate efficient, honest professional. He manages his crew and their work with excellence. He has gone above and beyond what he said he will do on each contract. I cannot think of having tree work done by anyone else. While there may be some unavoidable, temporary damage to your lawn because of the movement of equipment; F & F leaves your property as if they had never been there. Daniel's word and handshake are as good as gold.

Very well. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone. I have a lot of trees on my property and have used other tree services. These guys were very reasonably priced and did a complete cleanup.
