The salesmen were both very professional, yet very personable ! The lead roofer was a good communicator & good at keeping things moving ! All of the installers were also very professional & courteous ! Overall my wife & I were very pleased with the quality of the products, Pleased with the Proffessionalism of Erie Roofing !! Bottom line is,'My wife & I would & will Highly suggest that family & friends would schedule an appointment with Erie Roofing if you're in need of home Improvement !

We recently contracted with Erie to finish our basement. I am extremely satisfied by the work Erie did and the customer service was exceptional. My husband and I were not sure exactly how we wanted the space completed and the representative worked with us over multiple visits to help us get the exact layout we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. At the start of the project there was a last minute change to our installation lead and Erie was wonderful at keeping me informed of what was happening and when to expect information. Once the project was started it was completed ahead of schedule and the installer made certain we were happy before he signed off the job was completed. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing home renovations completed.

Before starting project Josh spoke with homeowner explaining the arrival time and checked on placement of trailer & supplies for roof. The contracted roofer (Victory Construction) was on time at 8AM each day, cleaned up starting around 4:30 and left at 5PM. The work was efficient. Old shingles were quickly put into a trailer to be hauled away at end of project. They removed some solar lights from front of house sidewalk and garden area so nothing would get broken. Area around house was cleaned of nails and metal trim from roofing every day during and at end of their work period. They did a walk around each day to be sure all was safe from causing any hazard before they left. They parked so the home owner could easily access driveway and yard to park. They explained what they would do to reinstall the gutter leaf guards. Before leaving Josh would let homeowner know they were leaving and were there any questions.

Went very well house was built in sections had to blend all sections together ,also fix the valleys right when it rains now it goes in the downspouts. Not in the house thank you erie construction.

Workers were very nice men and worked very hard all day, even thru the hot sun.

The project went very well. Representatives of Erie Construction readily returned my calls answering questions that I had. Myself and my family are very pleased with the outcome of our new roof and we are confident in Erie Construction Company that our roof will look as good as it does now long after we're gone.

Our roof was in terrible shape and needed total replacement. The house has been added on to several times so there are multiple levels, 3 chimneys, a carport and front porch that needed attention. We were given an approximate time of completion of 5 days. The crew arrived on time. The team leader introduced himself, explained what they were going to do, kept us updated, throughout the entire project. The crew were polite, worked their tails off and I never saw them take breaks. Their tools and supplies were put away before they left. The team leader came to the door, advised they were leaving for the day and asked if we would like to come out to see the progress they had made. He gave us the tour and advised when they would return. They returned promptly the next AM and stayed until the job was finished. When they left this house the only sign that they had been here was our beautiful,secure, waterproof roof. We are so satisfied with this experience, we will call Erie in the future for any other projects we may have. We have told friends and family to call Erie Construction as well.

Salesmen reported at time scheduled within a day of first contact. He was courteous and knowledgeable. We agreed on a price and were told it would take 3 weeks to make the windows for our house. Company contacted us, had another gentlemen come out and measure all the windows and 3 weeks later we were scheduled for install. Installer contacted us and told us it would be a 3 day job and he would be there at 7:30 AM on a Monday. He arrived exactly on time and began work immediately. His name was Bill and he had over 30 years experience doing this work and you could tell. He and his son did the work in very timely fashion. They were very professional, very respectful of our house and furnishings. All the windows and doors were finished in 2 1/2 days and I am very pleased with both the quality of the windows and the professional work. Although I probably could have bought the windows somewhere else and had them installed for thousands less. The lifetime warranty, reputation, and quality of both the work and windows themselves, made it worth my money and piece of mind in the long run. I would highly recommend Erie Construction for their products and professionalism, and will use them again if needed.

The work was done all in one day.? Installer was very neat and cleaned up after himself.? His work is very professional.?Erie Construction follows up to make sure job was completed and to my satisfaction.? The warranty is a lifetime warranty.? I would call Erie for any other projects that I need done and would recommend them to family and friends.

A salesman came to the door asking about our windows. I indicated we had trouble with two of the windows and I would like an estimate to replace the windows. He described the process Erie normally comes in and checks how energy efficient all of the windows are (his words) and then tries to sell you new windows (my words). I indicated I wasn't interested in the evaluation but would be interested in getting an estimate for replacing the two windows. At the time, I asked if Erie would be interested in that type of a job.. He said yes but asked if I was sure I didn't want the evaluation. I indicated I was not interested in having all of our windows checked. He proceed to set up an appointment for 9/15/14 at 1 pm. He gave me a written sheet that said I had an appointment for a "free price quote". He indicated I would be getting a call the next day from a (937) area code to confirm the appointment. I never received a confirmation call and no one should up to provide the estimate. After (lesson learned!) the salesman left I checked angie's list. The reviews seemed to be from opposite ends of the spectrum. I was feeling a little uneasy but figured it couldn't hurt to go ahead with the estimate, Now I have to wonder if the highly rated reviews are legitimate. Erie may not have been interested in my small job. I would have appreciated honest information instead of pretending someone was going to show up and wasting my time.

They gave us an estimate for $10,000. However, since this is our only bathroom, not having a bathtub in it would make someone not qualify for an FHA loan, thus making the house virtually impossible to sell. It seemed like they were only their to make money.

We scheduled an initial consultation with a sales representative which resulted in a price we agreed upon. A couple of weeks later, we were contacted to schedule the installation. When this date arrived, our installers (we remembered them from our previous installation) were here exactly on time. There was one issue that prevented them from completing the job that day: there was a misunderstanding about configuration of these windows, and they were made in reverse of what we communicated. In this situation, our installers apologized for the mix-up and said they would get the correction made immediately. Within a few days, our revised windows were completed, and the installation was arranged and performed. I had no problem with the error that was made because Erie was very prompt and responsive to make the correction; the very urgency with which they re-made these windows suggested a good-faith attempt to remedy this. The installed product performs perfectly and is exactly what we wanted. I have no hesitation in contacting Erie for future projects.

Got an estimate for vinyl windows and siding from Erie.? Window salesman not very informed or personable. Siding manager better.? Price totally outrageous!

We asked that he send us a written estimate which he said he would........we never received that promised estimate. Based on the estimates we received from two other companies, Renewal by Andersen and Gilkey, Erie is very overpriced and their salestaff is pushy. Their attitude is "if I can't get the sale now, forget it" because once the client meets with any quality dealer they will not select Erie based on price along.

I called based on an ad in the Troy Daily news for Homes needing metal roof indicating they would make it worth our while called had nice guy call me back to schedule an appointment again all I wanted was an estimate. This was on a Monday made an appoinment for after work on a Friday, they called me back on Friday to say they double booked and would have to reschedule, I indicated again all I wanted was an estimate they again made a new appointment for the following Monday again after work. On Sunday afternoon I get a call saying they may be a problem with the appointment on Monday I call back to find that once again they need to cancel. I tell Mike to have his boss call me if they want to give me an esitmate otherwise don't bother. Matt (Mike's boss) calls me late in the day appoligizing for all the problems and assures me they want to try to do business. So we set up a Wed. evening appointment. Tuesday they call me back to confirm Wed. is good. Meeting set for 5:30 to 6:00 arrival. At 5:30 heading home about 5 minutes away when they call to tell me there guy is going to be at least an hour late. I tell them if he still wants to come to give me an estimate ok, they don't seem interested in just an estimate they want to give me a full on sales pitch. At which point I tell they may not work that way but I'm not spending any money without looking at all my options so if they don't want to give me an estimate don't waste my time.

Erie Construction has serious problems with their customer service and personnel. While they claim to care about satisfying customers, they do not care about the problems. I should not have to call them repeatedly when issues are not addressed. One would think that the General Manager of Installations would follow-up after he witnessed the problems first hand. Then when I'm forced to call him again, he fails to return my call. I have missing molding, areas on the counter that need to be caulked, an improperly installed counter top, and a small chip in the laminate above the dishwasher. All of which the installer knows about and was scheduled to complete on 7/27/2006. I waited all day for the installer, and he never showed up.
