Description of Work: They catered a baby shower for me. Had wonderful ideas of different appetizers etc. But the final result was terrible. The food was cold, and what was SUPPOSED TO BE COLD (a watermelon type of sorbet in a small cone) was MELTED. There was a full kitchen available. Most of the people at the event were vegetarian, so I had told them specifically to go heavy on just fruit and veggie tray type stuff- I went thru the line last, but there were 3 guests ahead of me-- NOT ONE bit of veggies or fruit left-- how hard is that? They also said I would be able to take home the left over food. At the end of the event, I asked if they had put it in the fridge and they said that it had been sitting out too long, that after 2 hours they must, by health code laws, throw it away. Well, okay, then why didn't someone say something to me PRIOR to the 2 hour mark? I would never use them again.

+ -1 moreThey food was great. The individual I worked with was very helpful and answered all my questions. The day of the wedding was a little of a communication problem. It was a cocktail dinner so food was supposed to be continuously throughout the reception but it wasn’t a lot. I was a little disappointed at that. They called to follow up on how the service went. I let them know my concerns and she said that she would talk to her manger and follow up with me. I wasn’t expecting any kind of monetary compensation but I wanted to at least hear back from them.

+ -1 moreWhen I walked in and saw the tables, buffet and cake, I couldn't believe how well everything I had imagined had come together. It was exactly what I wanted. Once we were announced and sat down, the servers presented a beautiful salad with fresh fruit, crumbled feta and chopped walnuts. The dressing was really good and light. We then went to the buffet that was so beautiful. I had never seen anything so elegant and was so excited that it was at my wedding! The food was just as good as I had remembered from the tasting. We had carved beef tenderloin and Moroccan chicken with red potatoes, squash, zucchini, and fresh green beans. My mom was impressed with how well they kept the tables clean. This was an issue for her because at my sisters wedding a few years ago, the caterer waited until the end of the event to clear empty glasses and cake plates and my mom wasn't happy with the pictures and overall "mood" of the event. Renee assured us all along that everything would be taken care of and it was!!!! I have absolutely nothing to complain about - it was perfect. Definitely call Elite Catering if you need an awesome caterer.
Description of Work: I hired Elite Catering for my wedding on July 5, 2008. They handled the bar service, passed appetizers, a plated salad and then a buffet dinner. Everyone raved about the food and decorations. Their staff did such a great job. My mom and I can't believe how they were on top of everything and we never "wanted" for anything...they were always right there. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a full service caterer. Renee took care of everything!!!!
