Not a single portion of the job was completed satisfactorily. The paint was left with many spots not painted. The painters washed out their brushes and rollers in my driveway, staining and ruining my driveway. They were supposed to cut the drywall from the floor and replace as it had been wet from flooding. The installer determined it wasn't needed since it was dry, so the they just didn't do it. I had to request them to come back and actually cut the drywall and install it. I found out later that they still didn't cut and replace a portion of it in the middle of the room where it is still soft. When the baseboards were initially installed, a few actually fell off the wall. I had to have them come back to put them back on. The new baseboards are still crooked and scuffed and splattered with floor leveler. The contractor contracted to put down vinyl plank flooring, and later determined it could not be done with my floor. After selecting a new floor and paying more money for the increased cost in flooring, several weeks later the floor installer showed up to tell me that the new flooring option would not work on my floor. Again, I selected a new flooring option. The new floor was sheet vinyl and a third of the cost of the original contract flooring option, but I still paid for the original flooring. The flooring installed in the laundry room was supposed to be vinyl tile, but sheet vinyl was installed. After two months, the job was "completed". Darin showed up for the final payment. He actually asked me to pay an additional $485 for re-stocking the tile he contracted to install and could not. He offered me a $150 discount to paint the baseboards and touch up the terrible paint job myself. My wife and I accepted simply because we were tired of dealing with the lying and terrible work. We made the final payment for a total over $7,000 just to be done with DBR. Now we are repainting and redoing most of the work ourselves. Every conversation seemed to be a discussion to try to get more money and perform as little work as possible.
Description of Work: My basement flooded. I removed the carpet and dried the basement. I needed new flooring installed, painting, and new baseboards.
