Description of Work: CJS Heating and Air performed my annual tune-up this year. They came on time and were very professional. The technician was very knowledgable and identified a potential issue with my furnace. He sat down with me and 1) fully educated me about the problem and why it is a problem, 2) described what he would do to fix it, 3) demonstrated the evidence for the issue and 4) clearly explained the status of the problem (wobble in the inducer motor bearing was not an immediate threat, but could go out at any time). As a consumer, I believe CJS Heating and Air provided an honest service and accurately educated me regarding their services. Their method of operation allowed me to make well-informed decisions without unnecessary pressure. They will be performing my annual maintenance for the foreseeable future and I would recommend them to others. I should also note that I asked the technician to walk through the house with me to make recommendations about general issues I was having with my duct work--a service that CJS was happy to do for free while other companies I called wanted to charge around $60 dollars.

Description of Work: We pay a monthly fee to have a thorough check of our heating and air conditioning each fall and spring. They have found problems each time and we've been able to get the problems fixed through a warranty company. In addition this past fall they installed a Nature's Home air filtration system have has really helped with allergens and air quality. We are pleased.

Description of Work: CJS fixed a drain leak in our high efficiency furnace. The leak had shorted out the computer board and transformer for the board. They replaced the board and transformer and tested the furnace to insure it was operating properly. They were very punctual and Josh was very professional and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: We hired them to come and do a tune-up on our AC, since we have a heat-pump and it had been recommended by our inspector. We purchased one of the Angie's List deals for a discounted rate. When the tech came, he did a very thorough job cleaning the unit, inside and outside. Since we had just purchased the house, he pointed out some key features we should note. And, the previous owners had the thermostat set on Celsius. We jokingly asked if he knew how to switch it, and he took time to download the owner's manual and figure out how to switch it for us on top of everything else. He did a great job and we were more than satisfied, especially considering we had gotten a discounted rate to begin with!
