Description of Work: Performed an evaluation of what was wrong with the A/C unit. It ended up being more cost effective to just replace the unit rather than repair it. Saved $1600 on a new unit by obtaining several quotes, so show around, there's a wide spread on what companies charge.

Description of Work: We had to have our very old furnace replaced after living here for a year and having it ruined by home warranty heating and air people (they actually made it unsafe to operate at one point!). We decided to go with CJS after hearing from a friend that they were the best around. We were impressed with the diagnostic meeting, and how thorough the technician was in looking over our old unit. The day of the install went longer than we had hoped, because the guys had been at another install that very morning. Felt like the guys were a bit overworked and would be better for everyone for the company to hire some more installers and not make these guys do two in one day. The new unit is much quieter than our old one and we love our on board humidifier (made a HUGE difference in our house!). We are happy that we chose CJS for this project.

Description of Work: I called CJS because they advertise service to geothermal systems. A repairman was very punctual and tried to assess the trouble. When he called for backup help, he was informed that CJS does not work on our type of geothermal system. At that point he had to stop working. He told us we would not be charged for his time even though he had been there over an hour. Since I had already paid through Angi's list and since he had spent the time, I didn't ask for a refund. Our repairman did find out the name of a company who could work on our system so I am giving them an A for overall help.
