We had a problem with our water boiler and they came out the next day to diagnose the problems. A couple parts had to be ordered, but they came back the same day that the parts arrived. The technicians and customer service representatives were all very friendly, and they did a great job.
Description of Work: The provider repaired our water boiler. They replaced the water pressure gauge and another part (I forget the name).

We do have a process in place for ho we go about completing our repairs and, in this case, we certainly understand where your frustration is coming from. The additional work that your technician did was necessary to complete the repair that was quoted to you but it should have been quoted up front. We can see where the communication broke down. We do want to extend our sincere efforts to make things right by only charging you for what was quoted up front. Your final bill will reflect only that amount that was originally quoted to you. The CJS folks were wonderful. Scott, the technician, came within two hours of us calling. He was friendly, courteous and very helpful. He took the time to go over what he was going to be doing. After performing the diagnostics he told us that it was going to be a simple fix and then took care of the problem. He discussed with us what we might want to consider for the future with our 25 year old furnace, never pressing for additional work that didn't need to be done. If/when the need arises in the future we will use them again. .
Description of Work: The technician performed a complete check of our furnace and discovered something that could be repaired rather easily.

I chose CJS because of the high ratings listed on Angie's List and the coupon offered for an annual furnace cleaning. On 11/20, Brian arrived on time as scheduled and from the very start was very personable, explained everything he needed to do and what safety tests he was running, even showed me how his equipment is used and what the results of the testing meant. My furnace is 15 years old, and to be honest, I have not had annual service performed for at least 2-3 years. Unfortunately, my furnace needed a new inducer assembly and the carbon monoxide levels were testing extremely high. Brian took the time to explain to me all options available and was very patient with my questions. He even took the time to explain different types of high efficiency furnaces. After comparing the cost of repairs and taking into consideration that my furnace is 15yrs old and the repairs may not safely fix the issues, I made the decision to replace the furnace. Brian arranged a same day appointment for me with Paul from CJS who came to my home that afternoon and also reviewed all my options and listened to my reasoning for the decision I made. I was able to arrange satisfactory financing for the cost of the new furnace and am waiting to hear back from CJS as to when the new furnace will be installed. I was given a potential installation date of 11/24 or 12/1. I am very pleased with the service I received from everyone I came in contact with at CJS from the receptionist who scheduled my appt. to Brian and Paul. I definitely would recommend CJS!

It went very well. Chris was very informative and was very honest about cost, problem, and any other information I needed. He gave me all my options and was not trying to sell me one way or the other likely many previous companies did. There pricing was also very reasonable compared to many other companies. I did do research prior to him coming out and had other companies come out prior to CJS. He diagnosed the problem immediately and didn't try to up sell me on everything. He gave me an honest opinion which is what I was trying to find and which seemed to be hard to come by through the previous 2 companies. Overall, It was a great experience and I would highly recommend the company for furnace problems.

I have had diagnostic service performed by CJS for my AC, furnace and water heater to the tune of 3 trips in the last 6 weeks. Their technicians are great, very personable and professional and never make a hard sell. And their diagnostic service for $49 using the Angie's List coupon is an unbeatable deal. But in the end, I have postponed or DIYed the repairs because I think their service charges are high. I appreciate their tiered pricing, where they tell you exactly how much any given repair is going to cost and I don't mean to suggest in any way that they are gouging their customer, just that I have enough know how to do the work myself for a fraction of the cost. Otherwise, I highly recommend this company.

we called CJS and 2 other companies for estimates. Cody came out at the agreed time and explained our options and also suggested a free inspection to let us know if our furnace needed to be replaced. He was courteous and informative without any pressure to make a decision . Chris came out to inspect our furnace and actually showed me where the cracks were with a camera that can be inserted into the furnace. I wasn't surprised as the furnace was very old. After our experiences with Cody and Chris we felt sure CJS was the company we wanted. When we called back they set up a date to install the furnace on the day we wanted and promptly arrived. Our workmen were Jake Ledbetter and Alex Beatty. They were excellent - courteous and professional. In just a few hours (about 6) the old furnace was out and the new was in. I could feel the difference right away. My husband and I were really impressed with CJS and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to a friend.

It went really well. The service plan worked out just great. I bought an extended plan through them that continues on for the next year. There were no other fees associated with the Angie's List purchase. I purchased a plan and they went above and beyond that. The technician was very knowledgeable. He said that's not just a reflection on him but that's a company core value. The Angie's List deal that I purchased through them, that was a great sales point. The price point was the sales factor.

.When I called to ask why they had cancelled my appointment they basically told me two other customers were more important and did I want to reschedule. I told them they had lost me as a customer forever. They should have had the courtesy to ask me if I would reschedule before they decided other problems were more important . I would have said ok and not lost vacation time. The moral to the story is that no appointment with this company is guaranteed and they only care what is best for their them.
Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment two weeks in advance to have my air conditioner serviced and both AC and furnace cleaned and inspected. I found out after I arrived home (took a half day vacation) that they had given my time slot to other "higher priority" emergencies

You are correct in your statement that we do have a priority level to calls. Most days it does not come into play but on days when there are more calls that come in than can be run in one day this is the way they are prioritized. 1. Warranty anyone who has previously invested in a repair or replacement with us that has an issue they are the #1 priority. 2. Club Members theses are clients who have committed to us that they want us to take care of their equipment year in and year out. They have committed that they will use us and have financially invested in us keeping their equipment safe, clean, and in factory like condition two times a year and for that commitment we promise them priority service and yes it’s not lip service if they have a need that they deem is a priority they are moved to the front of the line these are also a #1 priority. 3. Clients whom have potential safety issues are automatic a priority #1 call. In order to give clients the most notice possible we ask for their best contact number and call them 30 to 45 minuets ahead of our arrival. We also use this best contact number in the rare case we have to change an appointment time. This reduces client inconvenience and allows clients to do what ever they may need to do through out their day and not have to wait on us if we are running behind due to unforeseeable daily emergencies or priorities. We feel awful when rescheduling a customer like your self and usually try to accommodate when rescheduling with clients, even up to offering the initial visit charges for free. The reason this was not offered to you is because you chose to be belligerent on the phone with the client care representative from our company, even rudely calling her the b--- curse name no gentleman should ever speak to a lady. This client representative that you spoke to so rudely: has an A track record with our company and performs at a high level with our clients day in and day out. We have received many client comments and monitored many times when she goes way above and beyond to help our clients out. She is exactly what we want in a client service representative. She is awesome! Our culture is one of high customer service and she is the main and the first contact point at which the client experience starts. We do however draw the line at belligerent behavior. Our position is we are better off without customers who display a lack of emotional and self-control. We do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you but in the end I think it is best that the rest of our team did not get exposed to the temper you displayed to our client service representative. I'm pretty happy with how it all went. I even purchased their "club plan" which I usually never do, because I was just super happy with the service. The service man was clean and neat, polite too. He replaced the thermostat and even did some rudimentary programming on it to get us going.
Description of Work: My upstairs A/C wasn t working. I called Fri afternoon before a long, hot holiday weekend. They had someone there at 8 AM the next day, no extra charge for a Saturday service. He checked everything, identified the problem, and fixed it. He even checked out the rest of the system to make sure nothing else was significantly wrong and made s couple of helpful suggestions. Very nice guy and seemed very competent.

The service technician was prompt, courteous, knowledgable and helpful. He was able to quickly diagnose what appears to be the problem. While he was unable to correct the problem due to it being outside of his company's expertise, he was able to make recommendations for the next step in resolving the problem.
Description of Work: Service Provider was requested to investigate and correct the non-functional Air Conditioner of a WaterFurnace Premier Geothermal Residential HVAC system. Service Technician monitored unit and determined that ground loop water was gone. Remaining portions of the system appear to be functional. CJS does not service ground loop portions of the system, but technician was able to provide me with contact information for three companies that he was aware of that perform this work. I will be following up with those companies and return to CJS if further HVAC problems are detected once water loop is restored. Technician also sold me a service contract on preventative maintenance for components that may have been damaged by water loop interruption.

The service was good. We've liked everyone that has come to us from their company and they're always quick. What I also like is that they wear shoe covers when entering our home to be courteous of our floors and carpet. I really appreciate that.

I called in a panic because I had a house showing the next day and my air conditioning had just stopped working; it was going to be really hot and humid and I knew it would be very uncomfortable in my two story home. I spoke with both Whitney and Stephanie in the office and they rearranged some of their non-emergency appointments so they could have their technician out that day. The technician, James Butler, called even earlier than my planned appointment time, and fixed it withing two hours. He had to make a trip to pick up a part I needed so he could do it that day. He was extremely nice, professional and knowledgeable. From my experience I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone....they went all out to help me and I appreciated it so much; I can see that this company has true integrity.

Chris & Scott did a thorough inspection and cleaning on our AC unit to make sure everything would be operational when the hot weather hits. They were here on time, were friendly and helpful, and explained everything they were doing. I had purchased this service in advance through Angie's List, so I got a deal, but their regular prices are very reasonable, and they have been upfront about prices. We are considering a service plan through them, since this is the third time we've used them, and we've always been pleased. (We've used CJS in the past for our furnace service/inspection and a small repair.) Highly recommended.

Checking the AC was part of our annual membership. Although the membership was expired, they did their committed annual checking. It was an about 2hrs job, checking and cleaning the system. I got complete information about the system, everything seems fine working so far. I was informed about parts which might need replacement in near future, but there was no forcing into replacement right away at all.

The technician, Josh, arrived right on time at 8am and got to work checking the unit in the basement and the one outside. He was very polite and professional. When he finished, he went over everything with me and gave some no-pressure recommendations. Took less than two hours.

While he wasn't able to pinpoint the problem I was having, he was able to determine that it was not caused by the heater. I appreciated the time he took to review my unit, inspect, and test. I learned a little bit while he was here regarding my system.

324These people were a delight to work with from the phone call to schedule the service through all the work. The two technicians took almost three hours to carefully inspect my furnace and take measurements to determine how it was working. There was no hard sale for future services, and I was told my furnace was in good working order. I would use these people again and plan to have them do inspections for me in the future.
