Fair, they could have done a better job

Service went very well. Very knowledgeable about the kind of cleaning that he does, and convinced me that the dry cleaning was better for my carpet, then the steam cleaning that I had been doing.

Purchased the 3 rooms for $89 special on 8/24. Received an email that Byrge would contact me to schedule an appointment. Because I needed the carpets cleaned before a tenant moved in I called Byrge on 8/26 to set up the appointment. I spoke to a man who said that the secretary was out that day and he would call me back that evening. As of today, 8/30, I have not received any call back from Byrge. My tenant is now moving in and I will have to have the carpets cleaned with her furniture in the way. I am canceling my purchase and contacting another carpet cleaner. I give Byrge a D instead of an F because I don't know how well they can clean carpets.

The service was performed well. Many rooms were steam cleaned: 3 bedrooms, living room, and dining room. The steam cleaning work was very good. The carpets were quite dirty beforehand, and the cleaning brought them back to good condition. It's great to see nice results after the carpets dry. The operator was the owner, Tom. He was on-time and polite. The equipment looked to be in good working condition which makes me more confident in the services.

They have not contacted me to schedule a visit.

That was fine, it was clean carpet. They were here shortly after I purchased it around August 28th, 2015. I know I added the, actually I added the couch and love seat too so I paid more than just the deal. I guess the reason I'm going mostly with B is how wet it was for so long after. I'm pretty sure they were on time. I don't recall anything negative besides like the wet, the real wet and he did say he'd come back out and dry them but I just didn't have time to be home to have them come out. Truthfully I don't know if I would use any of the carpet because I have a steam cleaner so I think I would do it myself. I hate to say know because I know I probably wouldn't use any of them. I guess I would use them again, I would just be more clear about the water/wet part. On the carpet and the non carpeted floors.

He showed up late so I asked if he could throw in some additional services for free, to which he agreed. He also asked me how much I paid for the deal and then gave me a tax amount due when he finished the job, and when I said I didn't have any cash, he said "Don't worry about it. Merry Christmas." He seemed to be offended when I said I didn't have any cash on hand to pay for the taxes on the service.I

Last week I reviewed Byrge Carpet Cleaners unfavorably because I was frustrated that they had been unable to keep appointments. This past Monday they called and apologized for the mix up. Tom came out today and did a fabulous job on the carpets. It was everything I had hoped. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

He was punctual, polite, knowledgeable and did a great job- got a nasty pet stain out of the sofa cushion. We will call him again when furniture needs cleaned.

Let me say first that the reason we had to have the carpet cleaned was due to a main house drain that stopped and caused sewage water to back up into our finished basement! I figured for sure the carpet was ruined and would have to be removed/replaced. I was determined to try everything to prevent that if possible. I found Tom on here, and after reading about his equipment and his reviews, decided to give him a call. BEST move I could have ever made. From the time I introduced myself and explained the situation, he was nothing but helpful. He gave me advice on how to pretreat the carpet effectively until he could arrive. He was here by that same afternoon. He took the time necessary to vacuum up water, apply his professional pretreater, then thoroughly clean and vacuum the carpet. Not only did he do a fantastic job cleaning the carpet, but he left some of his personal equipment behind to kill bacteria and completely dry the mat underneath (which was my biggest concern!). We left the equipment run for 72 hours and he came back and picked it up Thurs night. After finishing the job, I felt like he UNDERCHARGED me for all the time and effort he put in to fix my disaster! The carpet looks and smells as good today as it did the day it was installed. I will never call or recomend anyone but Tom for any carpet/furniture cleaning needs in the future.
