Boone's did a great job and bent over backwards to take care of us when the original date had to be postponed due to illness. Boone's was very responsive to phone calls and the service was to notch. While he Mr Boone went OUT OFF HIS WAY to answer all of my questions and prompt me on questions I should be asking. ..etc. I couldn't be more pleased with the service.

The man cleaned up after himself, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was very happy. I used them a number of years ago and found his business card to contact him again. The owner was easy to contact and got back to me quickly.

I had had this same service done in January with a different company and it was terrible. Boone's Chimney Sweep did a very thorough job. The were polite and courteous. They answered all my questions and explained what to watch for if I had someone else do the service the next time. They covered the area they were working in and when they left, you could not have guessed they had been here. They took the stove pipes off and cleaned them. They swept the chimney (top to bottom) and cleaned out the soot and creosote. I thought they did a great job. I plan to continue using them in the future.

I had a appointment for an inspection at an specific time. I was running a little late because the inspection was during my lunch brake. I received a call from his spouse stating Mr. Boone was 15 minutes late. After waiting for an hour he never showed up, i called back and his spouse promise to call him. She did return my call stating he was picking up his phone. Later on the day i received a call from Mr. Boone saying he was actually early and had left, to call him back to reschedule. I did, but he never returned the call. I am moving on to another company, he most be busy person. I need someone that is more reliable.

Inspection on 31 January went very well. They even told us that the chimney was clean and that we didn't need to clean it. I was surprised since this would have cost $125. Seemed very honest. The inspection showed damage to our chimney. Specifically, firebox needed minor tuck point repair, mortar was missing between flue tiles and flue tile is cracked. Estimate to reline flue with stainless steel and tuck point firebox. The estimate was $995. Mr. Boone told me that he could do the work in about a week and that it would only take about one hour to one and a half hours. All, we had to do was give him a call. I called him that Saturday 5 February to attempt to schedule the work. No one was there and I received no call back. I called again on Monday 7 February (1 week after estimate) and still got no answer and no call back. I left my final message on Tuesday 8 February and finally on Wednesday 9 February, his associate called back and stated that they would call us back when they were able to schedule us. I found this ODD, since scheduling should be a mutual agreement that involves both the company and more importantly, the CUSTOMER. Another week went by and then, Mr. Boone left a message on 15 February stating that he bought the supplies and that he had the very next day available to do the work. I called him on 15 Feb and told him that we had decided NOT to have the work done due to recent expenses incurred from the ice storms. Mr. Boone said he understood and then he went on to explain that he had bought the supplies and spent $400 of his own money and that he doesn't keep supplies in stock. He then told me that his estimate was only good for 30 days. Bottom line, this company seemed like they are looking to make a quick buck. I left multiple voicemails and everything seemed to be on Mr. Boone's timeline, NOT the CUSTOMER. Then after explaining that I had storm damage, he attempted to make me feel guilty about scheduling the job. We had NO AGREEMENT, because he failed to return calls in a reasonable amount of time.
