They were excellent. They were wonderful. I would definitely use them again. Their level of professionalism was triple A. Their pricing is okay. It’s expensive but it’s worth it.

It went very well. It took the entire work-week, spreading the job out step-by-step. After removing the old floor, a new sub-floor had to be installed. Laying out the tiles was done very meticulous and the last step was the grouting. The crew of Travis, Derek and Matt let me know each day when they would arrive and what they expected to get done. They were very reliable and called if anything at all changed. They were very careful moving appliances. Also, very good about watching that no snow or salt was tracked in, tricky with the bad weather. At the end of each day they cleaned up very well, which I really appreciated. They paid close attention to details and resolved issues like different transitions with various areas or rooms, minor problems with doors that had to be shortened a bit etc. They answered all my questions and concerns. They were a pleasure to work with and did an excellent job!

Excellent service and excellent company. The crew was very professional and they did an incredible job on the floors. Part of our downstairs area already had hardwood, and the comparison between the hardwood installed by some other company (not sure who... we bought it that way) and Bockrath is night and day. I have no doubt that the Bockrath floors will last a lifetime. A few unexpected surprises came up during the install (we had to re-level the floors because we have an old house), but Bockrath stayed true to the original estimate and didn't charge me an extra cent for the labor/parts required to re-level the floors. I can't say enough great things about this company and would highly recommend them to anybody.

Brent, the sales guy was helpful and good to work with. Carpet came in on time - intallers were on time and excellent. Nicely done. Perfect clean up.

Brent Severson, sales consultant, guided the selections and the process through to the completion of the work. He is very knowledgeable about flooring and design. Brent was generous with his time and did not hurry me through the decisions. He made it all fun and exciting. I am very happy with my new flooring! The installation team was excellent. Travis, Derrick, and Matt are precise craftsmen and they were very respectful of my home. You could not ask for a more competent, professional team.

During our initial visit to Bockrath, Brent Severson was the consultant who helped us. He patiently and thoroughly explained different options to meet our needs and help us narrow down our choices. Because our project was not time-sensitive, we took several weeks to make our decisions, and at no time was there any pressure placed on us by Brent or anyone else at Bockrath. When Brent came out to measure, he was professional, friendly, and obviously took great care in making scaled drawings of the rooms and furniture placement to assist him in making accurate calculations of amount of carpet needed and pricing. He estimated 3 to 4 days for installation and explained how we could prepare for best outcome in certain areas (such as painting the baseboards of stairs ahead of time). Joe and Brian installed the carpet and worked seamlessly together. Both were professional, neat, fastidious, and friendly. Moving the furniture was at times challenging, but was accomplished carefully and replaced precisely after the carpet was installed. They completed the work in 3 days by staying late on the third day before the holiday weekend. We are happy with the excellent work of Brent, Joe, and Brian and will certainly return to Bockrath for any future carpeting needs!

I needed the estimate within a short time period and they were willing and able to accommodate my request. Brent Severson arrived promptly the next day and did a careful, thorough job. I was unable to be present for the visit but was told that he was kind, pleasant and very professional. He emailed the complete estimate within a couple of hours. The quote itself is very fair and reasonable. We highly recommend Bockrath Flooring and Rugs.

Just completed a phone conversation with sales person. I live in the DC area and needed service for an investment property in the Dayton area. The representative was not helpful in working with me regarding schedule and coming to measure the house, etc. I presented my requirements but he insisted I come to the store first to view their materials. I explained I needed a quick turn using neutral mediocre materials as this was an investment property. He then went on to say that his company was booked through October for flooring installs. If business is that good, and it were mine, I'd be hiring or subcontracting personnel. Must be nice to be so successful a company to "wave" customers off at will. In fairness to the company, I have no idea of the quality of their work. Initial customer service presentation/interaction however is lacking.

I selected this company based on other reviews on Angie's List. Brent assisted us with this project and he was very personable and professional as well as very knowledgeable. My husband and I initially had differing ideas about carpet selection and Brent proposed several options to help us arrive at a plan that we were both very happy with. The installation team (Mark and Paul) was great too - they worked very efficiently and because we were also well prepared for them, they completed the job in less time than expected. We have been very pleased with our new carpet and the service we received from all. We enjoyed working with Brent and will return to Bockrath for any future needs.

Amazing! This is proof that you get what you pay for! First, our sales rep. Brent Severson was just the best. Very nice, courteous and very knowledgeable of the product and installation. Helped greatly with my decision making. Second, Mat who delivered the materials, Travis and Derrick the installers could not have been more professional and knowledgeable of the process. The job took a week and a half and they were always on time. This was not an easy job considering the house was built in 1941 and there were uneven floors and many transitions into other rooms.

We had over 3,000 square feet of carpet installed. Brent on the sales team was excellent and VERY knowledgeable. He is truly a carpet savant! He was on top of things and realized our very short window for installation was a challenge and made it work. He was simply the best! Matt coordinated the delivery and was an absolute joy to work with. He even cleaned the carpeted steps in the garage, and we didn't ask for that! He was just going the extra mile, something that you can tell he does often. The installers were professional, tidy and trustworthy. They worked well together and you could tell had been working together for many, many years. I would recommend Bockrath to anyone. Lucky me, Bockrath was having a sale on all of their Karastan Carpet, which saved me a bundle and I got what I consider the best carpet made. Jackie was a most helpful and kind person. She did not try to oversell me or push me towards a higher priced product, she just provided all of her designer expertise, which was extensive. Like I said, the carpet was in in 2 days which amazed me. The entire process took 1 week, start to finish. Paul and Mark, the installers just left and the carpet is beautiful, installation perfect! If I could have given their grade an A+, I would have!

When we arrived a Bockrath to choose carpet for our basement, we were total carpet novices. Brent helped us learn about the different options available and choose the best carpet for us. He worked with our schedule to take measurements and get the carpet installed. He told us installation would take two days at most and most likely one day. He was right on target - the installers took a full day the first day and came back for about an hour to finish up on the second day. The installers were professional and clean. They did a great job, cleaned up, and left the scraps for our use. If we need carpet in the future, we will definitely call Brent. We had a great experience. The carpet was pricey, but it was worth it for the service and how great it looks in our new basement.

Bockrath Flooring was our choice to have it all redone. Their professionalism, helpful and friendly advice was a big part of our being able to get our home back together. I particularly was impressed with how quickly they were able to do the work. Their workmanship, particularly on the wood floor, was unparalleled in my experience. The carpeting was also done in a professional and quick manner. I had heard about Bockrath through friends and neighbors, all of whom were complimentary of the work that was done for them. We were not disappointed. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, but a definite call-out to our salesman, Brent Seversen, for the professionalism, accuracy and no-pressure approach in getting what we wanted and having it done perfectly. It didn't hurt that he also had a great sense of humor. He was very helpful in our dealing with the insurance company. Brent's input and information that they asked him to provide was instrumental in us getting the fair amount we were fighting for. My wife and I would definitely recommend Bockrath, and will use them in the future should the need arise.

From Brent, sales representative, Matt who delivered the 27 boxes of flooring, to the 3 installers, Marco, Travis, & Derrick, we had an absolutely wonderful experience with this company. The staff was professional, courteous, efficient, very hard working, all have a sense of humor, patient as we posed many questions about our project, & the finished installed walnut flooring is awesome! We would, without a doubt, do business with them in the future, & we recommend them for your flooring needs.

From the very first moment I met Brent at Bockrath, I knew I was in good hands. He was open and refreshingly honest. He showed me different carpet brands and when I finally decided on a carpet, worked with me to get a deal on pet padding for the living room. HIs attention to detail and professionalism made me feel like he could be trusted. His enthusiasm for the product was quite contagious and made sure that even after the install was done, that I was satisfied. The carpet so far has performed beautifully. When my dog decided to have an accident on the new carpet, I was able to clean it up with no stain residue. I am very satisfied with Bockrath and would recommend them to all my friends. Before deciding on Bockrath, I checked out other carpet stores and while the prices were lower, they didn't have the knowledge of why certain padding is better for certain carpets. All the decision was left to me to decide with nothing more than measurements and prices provided by the competitors. Since buying a house full of carpet is quite an expense, I was really pleased that Brent took the time to explain why certain types of padding were better for different carpet types and then made sure that the carpet I got was matched with the correct padding for an overall comfortable walking experience. Highly recommend this company!!

We took a long time choosing our carpet, but Jackie continued to be attentive and patient in our selection process. She also came to our home to measure the area and explained how the process would work. Our carpet was installed a couple weeks later by Adam and his crew who were very friendly, strong (moved all of our furniture), efficient and thorough. It was a nice experience and we are enjoying our new carpet very much!
