Jackie Dunn, the designer who first assisted me, quickly assessed my needs and "taste." She helped me to narrow down a wide range of rugs at their showroom to those that had potential to "work" in my space and to complement the new furnishings I had recently acquired and my current accessories. When she was not available other staff members were gracious and helpful, even going out of their way to assist in transporting the rugs to my home and back. Their teamwork kept the whole process moving forward as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Although I wound up spending more money than I had planned, I am happy with the purchase and would return and recommend them to friends.

It went great. The Bockrath professionalism was superb. The installer was top notch and had great ideas for transitions that needed to be made. The installers were also extremely thorough going through and inspecting each and every board before installing any to remove any boards damaged or not in the color family we desired. They laid it all out to get a good mix of color before installing anything too. We had one transition piece we were unhappy with as it was obviously the most unattractive board in the entire order but the most important one visually in our entry way. Bockrath and the installer immediately arranged for a replacement piece to be ordered leaving the undesirable one in place until the new one came in so the job would look finished. Bockrath was also great about allowing us to order 1 box each of two different colors so we could look at an entire box laid out in our lighting in order to decide which color we wanted to go with. Then they gladly exchanged the box of the color we did not want and ordered what we did want out of the same lot that our sample box came from.

It went great & I love the new look and will definitely use Bockrath Carpet in the future.

Great, until we got an additional bill for $700+ dollars because they forgot to add on 1 closet. We were not expecting this and would not have proceeded had we known.

Brent, Great salesperson, communicated details about timing and set up of installation. Des and Porian did a great job of installation of carpet. Marcs and Travis did a great job on wood floors!

Called to get someone to quote the job, and repairman did not return my call in a timely manner. When he came out, he quoted $200 which I thought was high, but went with it. Then saw that the job was really pretty simple with the tools he had. I paid the price, but thought it was way too high.

I can't say enough good things about Brent Severson, who guided me in choosing carpet and padding, and answered all my questions. He came out to my house to measure, and we looked at different samples together. From choosing the carpet, to installation and clean up, everything went smoothly under his guidance.

Carpet was ordered and received as promised. The installers were on time and completed the work within one day as promised. Did not obtain other prices.

After one year of living with the Mannington flooring Bockrath sold us, I have to say I am very disappointed. Brent told us this would be a good flooring for our family room. This flooring scratches so easily, I am almost afraid to walk on it. He knew we had cats in the house and yet he still sold us this product. He knew there was a sliding door to the deck and that we would be walking in and out a lot. I guess he thought we were old and wouldn't notice the scratches, but every time I clean this floor I almost cry when I see all the scratches. I asked him if this floor was tough enough for a family room, and while he did qualify his response with we would have to keep the cats nails clipped, he said it was a good product. I believe he was wrong. A month after we got the flooring, a tiny, tiny pebble from outside somehow got under a lazy boy chair and it scratched the heck out of of the floor as it moved. I found this scratched design in the floor when I moved the chair to clean. When he lent us ths samples, we had picked out another company's sample, but he told us it was the wrong color and chose another one for us and said it was cheaper. Believe me if I had been given all the facts and told about the quality of this flooring, I would have gladly paid the extra to have a better quality flooring installed. I chose Bockrath because I thought they were an honest company that would not sell me a product that was not of high quality. I was willing to pay the price for their knowledge. I could easily have gone to a knock off flooring store and gotten this shoddy material and felt totally ripped off and probably paid less. I don't think I'll be returning to Bockrath for their expertise any time soon.

I walked into the store and spoke with Brent about our project, and I picked out a few floor samples to take home to test in the space we planned to have done. My husband and I narrowed our choice down to one sample and returned to the store that weekend to speak with Brent. He explained the product and installation process, and we set up a time for him to come to the house to measure and prepare an estimate. He was able to advise us on questions we had about the best direction to install the floor, and how wide a board to use. Brent got an estimate back to us the next day and we set up a work schedule. During all of this, Brent was very pleasant, helpful, and willing to answer all of our questions. He confirmed by telephone when our materials were ordered for the project, and again when our project was about to start. The installer arrived on time on the start date and got right to work. Doug was also very friendly. He communicated his intentions every step of the way, and consulted Brent on how to proceed when there were questions. Communication was an excellent asset during the entire project. Doug cleaned up the work area when he finished the majority of the work. A strip the connects the dining room to the kitchen had to be ordered because Doug was not happy with the one provided. He planned to return to install that when it was delivered. Also, we had some areas due to our irregularly shaped curved wall and stone fireplace where we could opt to have caulking fill in the spaces or leave it undone. Doug put caulk in a sample area for us to decide how we wanted it finished. He would do the caulking at the same time as he installed the last connecting strip. The work at this point looks great. We are really pleased with how well the floor blends with our stone, and the workmanship is wonderful. While our baseboards were removed for the installation, I painted them and Doug reinstalled them. He also left spaces for us to place new air registers. We have no complaints to this point. I would definitely use Bockrath again. Considering we had this done just prior to Christmas, we had very disruption to our lives during the week Doug was in the house.

Outstanding from sales to installation.

The situation: Floor had been installed 7 years ago, by another company (with I was unhappy with). We had quite a bit of water damage around the dishwasher and water cooler area. We needed to have the dishwasher replaced, and was told that pulling out the dishwasher would damage the floor even more. I contacted Bockrath to get an estimate this job. Tom came out to do the estimate, assured me that they could do the job, using the wood that I had left-over from the initial installation. Cost of the job was based on labor, I was providing the wood. He did search for a source of more wood, but since it has been discontinued, more wood was not available. We had to restrict the repair to the amount of flooring available. The team of installers, Marco and Travis were wonderful. They came, studied the situation, looked at the wood that they had to work with, and carefully removed the worst of the damaged flooring. I can't emphasize enough how hard this job was...and how they handled all the problems with patience and care. I was impressed with Marco and Travis, especially the care they took moving my refrigerator, stove, and large heavy upright piano. They spoke to each other quietly, and worked together really well. They were very professional. When they left, everything was back in place, floor and other work areas were left cleaner than when they started. And the repaired floor looks great! I was very pleased and WILL use this company again.

The estimate was completed within 40 minutes. Tom was very punctual & efficient.

Excellent! The three man team showed up on time. They were polite and listened to what was needed. They answered my questions during the install. The best job of all the install teams we have had over a nine month period.

Everything went perfectly. Took 2 people on week, they worked hard, job was a little tricky, but everything fitted well. I used this company several times in the past and the work was always perfect.

We had problems with the family room floor. The tile by the sliding door was cracked. We had orange carpeting where a closet had been taken out. The landing that went down to the basement wasn't level. We have never had baseboard in the room. Oh boy, I thought how will we ever get all these problems straightened out? Brent came to our house and told me how every single problem would be corrected. Marko and Travis arrived the day after Thanksgiving. They worked really hard for two and half days, and lo and behold, every problem was corrected, and I had a beautiful wood floor. The next week Dave Hutton arrived, and I had baseboard. Brent was right. He solved every one of my family room's problems and gave me lots of decorating ideas as well! Everything went as planned, and I couldn't be happier with my new floor. Their installers are by far the best and their prices are competitive. They stand behind their product, move all your furniture and there never is a mark on your wall from a furniture scrape. I will use them again in the future.

They are expensive but do high-quality work. They gave me an estimate of about $5000 for the job. They really helped me out with the insurance company. I give them the highest ratings across the board. They put in a lot of effort with the insurance company and I feel that I owe them something and should at least give them some work even though they are more expensive.
