We called Baker to get a quote for resurfacing our tub, which has rust spots and areas where water pools. He answered right away and provided a quote, but given our situation he actually recommended replacing the tub completely - something that he couldn't do. His honesty was refreshing, not trying to talk us into something we obviously didn't need. I will definitely use him in the future for our resurfacing needs; it's extremely difficult to find honest and responsive contractors.

Outstanding service from first phone call to job completion. Showed up first day on time and explained the process and time required. It took exactly the amount of time he stated. The second day was for buffing and clean up, again it took the exact amount of time he stated. The finished product was impressive. It looked like a brand new tub, complete with non-slip texture on the bottom of the tub. Very pleased with this decision and would use them again tomorrow if we needed another tub refinished.

Mr. Baker did an amazing job! He came in early on Monday morning with a goal of completing the job on Tuesday. However, he noticed some problems with the previous resurfacing job accomplished by another contractor, so he had to add extra material in order to do the job right. That added an extra day, but the results are worth it. The entire process did produce a really strong odor that lingered for a couple of days, but I don't think there is any way to get around that if you are getting something resurfaced. He also installed a non-slip surface for no extra charge. The tub looks brand new.

We called Mr. Baker to get a price on what we wont'ed done,he was lot cheaper than the other one's we called.so we set up a time an date to get the work done,he was there on time an started covering up what he needed to do, to strip off 20 year old paint and primer the bathtub. Before he painted he removed the toilet to paint the tub right. When he was done painting the bathtub with a custom color an the non-slip surface on the bottom of the tub,he reset the toilet with a new heavy duty seal, so we could use it later. He left it to dry,said he will be back the following morning at 8:00 am to clean up and to buff out the bathtub. He was there at 8:00 am sharp, and started removing paper from the walls an floor,also removed the exhaust fan and hose he used to help cut down the dust an smell. Then he buff out the bathtub to a mirror shine, an also re caulk the tub. When he was done he left no mess at all,did a 100% professional job.

Vince is very professional and takes a lot of pride in his work. We have an old house built in the 20's. I've had the best luck in fixing things and making improvements when I've found independent contractors who really know their craft. This provider is the best of the bunch. You may have to wait a few weeks for an appointment (two guys, and they are in demand) but it is worth it. Affordable, dependable, and professional.

When I called for an estimate, I was assured that the job would not exceed the normal charge for domestic tub refinishing. We set an appointment for the work to be done. Vince Baker, the owner showed up at the exact time we agreed on. He went to work preparing the bathroom for the resurfacing process. The first thing he did was mask off every surface in the room, toilet, vanity, walls and floor. There was nothing left exposed but the tub itself. The whole process took about four hours, and aside from the odor, which was pretty strong immediately after the application of the acrylic, it was totally painless. The odor went away later that evening, hardly noticeable. The next day, Vince came back and buffed the newly resurfaced tub to a polished jewel. He had taken out the drain and strainer and the overflow so there would be no possibility of peeling at those joints. When I asked him to replace the old ones with new brushed nickle finished replacements, he was very obliging. I have to say that I am thrilled with the job he did. We showed one of our friends who was about to replace her tub and she has decided to let Baker do a resurface on her tub instead. I am going to have them resurface my shower receptor instead of trying to replace it. Baker Resurfacing is an excellent company worthy of the high praise I am giving. I highly recommend this company to perform any bathtub, tile or shower resurfacing work you have. It will save you a lot of money. Overall, the job went exactly the way Baker said it would. They were fast, professional, friendly, and did an outstanding job.
