It went fairly well, though I had to keep an eye on them. I am extremely glad that I was there to watch them, because my husband had told them to install a 3- wide stairway leading from the 2nd-floor deck to the ground. I kept asking them questions about the deck as they built it, and when I found out where the steps would be and how wide they were going to be, I realized that the opening to the stairway was only going to be about 26". I told them to widen it, and I had to pay for them to move some of the support posts. The finished result is very beautiful, and the workmanship on the deck is great. However, we have a leak in the underdecking which I have called them about and have gotten no response. Also, they were working in dirt and mud, and they used my downstairs bedroom and bathroom. They did not put floor covering down, and tracked dirt and mud on my light carpeting. I also asked them to replace the vinyl flooring in my downstairs bathroom. They removed the toilet, and all they put under the toilet to protect the carpeting was a small plastic bag. When they picked up the toilet to put it back in the bathroom, they threw dirty toilet water all over the carpeting. I had the carpeting professionally cleaned after that, which they did not offer to pay for, and the carpeting still looks much dirtier than it did before they were here. I would recommend them for decks or outside work if you are there to watch them, but do not allow them inside your house. Do not pay them the full amount until you have checked to make sure everything is fully functioning and there are no leaks, etc., or they will not come back and fix anything that is wrong. Also, anything you add on to the original estimate will cost quite a bit. The deck, however, is beautiful.
Description of Work: We had BW's build a new second-floor deck to replace our old, rotting deck. They used composite decking and built a stairway down to the ground so that we could exit to the backyard from our family room (we have a raised ranch). They also put underdecking on the bottom of the deck to form a dry porch over our basement walk-out door. I also had them install vinyl tile flooring in my downstairs bathroom.

I REALLY LIKE THIS COMPANY AND HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THEM TO A FRIEND OF MINE. THEY WERE NICE, FRIENDLY PEOPLE. I THOUGHT THEY TREATED ME RIGHT, CONSIDERING SOME OF THE EXTRA WORK THAT THEY HAD TO DO WITH THE BATHTUB PROBLEM.
Description of Work: THEY HAD TO DO SOME REPAIRS ON MY BATHTUB. IT WAS LEAKING FROM SOMEWHERE. THEY ENDED UP HAVING TO DO SOME WORK WITH SOME PIPES.
