All Weather Heating & Air Conditioning

My A/C hadn't been cooling for a couple of days.  Serendipitously, Jim & Doug were performing an A/C service call for my next door neighbor & offered to take a look at mine when they were done.  They found one of the fuses was blown, & the compressor wasn't working in the outside part of the unit.  They also looked at the inside portion of the unit & the thermostat; both were working fine.
They replaced the fuse, got a stuck piston in the compressor to start moving again, and found the freon pressure was low so they topped it off w/ some more R-22.
My A/C works great now.
Jim & Doug were very friendly & polite.  Jim said he's been a heating/cooling repairman for 40yrs & he takes a training class every year to renew his certification.  They are a local company that is well rated w/ the BBB.
I felt the cost was well worth getting my house cooled to a comfortable temperature, especially considering how expensive freon is these days.  I was especially pleased they were able to fix the compressor instead of having to replace it.
