They are very knowledgable about the emerald ash bore. They had a small group here doing the work. They stacked the logs from the trees they removed and turned all of the debris into mulch after they completed the trimming.

He is an arborist that we had come out and treat some trees. He has kept our trees alive. He did exactly what he said he would. He came out to give me an estimate. He measured the tree, told me when he could be here, how long it would take. He sent 2 guys out in the morning. They catch it in the morning around the base of the tree and it sucks it in, the medicine into the tree. He got done and he was gone.

The service was fantastic. I had scheduled a time for Tom to come out to provide an estimate, but he was actually in my area a few days before and was able to get us a quote earlier than anticipated. AAA's prices were very competitive (based on 3 other quotes) and we could tell Tom actually knew what he was talking about and cared about our landscape. We had the trees removed in early spring, so weather was obviously an issue and we had to wait for a clearing. Once the day arrived, I left for work and came back to see all of the trees cut down just like he had described. They definitely took care to ensure that our lawn wasn't damaged any more than necessary (given the heavy equipment). AAA even trimmed a few branches on another tree, and cut down a hornet nest, without us even asking. Afterwards, Tom even provided a few contacts who would come get the leftover wood for free once we were done cutting what we needed for firewood. Amazing service, would definitely use again!

They had a large crew to take down the tree at the corner where my property meets my neighbors. They were very efficient and cleaned up the debris quickly. When I asked about pruning my tree, he jumped right on it and it was done in less than 10 minutes. Also, I checked Angie's List for a review before I asked them to do the work.

He penciled me in for Tues or Fri and then never called. I called and left a message and the owner didn't even have the courtesy to call me back!! If they can't return a simple phone call, can you really trust them when it counts?? Not in my book! Don't bother calling, they will only waste your time! There are plenty of companies that are professional and don't promise anything that they won't do!

We called them to come and please remove them as well and they said they were not included in our contract. The contract stated removal of all storm damaged branches/trees. These large branches are now damaging our chimney. They never came back to fix them. At this point, I would not use them again.

They arrived on time with a full crew and were quickly finished. They did a great clean-up job as well. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service.

When I decided to go forward with the job with them, they were here on time. The cost was very reasonable for the entire package (removal of three mature trees, stump removal, debris removal while leaving time for me to collect what lumber that I wanted) compared to about three other tree services that I got quotes for. They were here at 8:30 in the morning with a crew of 10 men who had the entire job done (except for the removal of the large lumber) in 3 hours. They cut up some lumber while they were here and piled it aside for me to keep. They gave me a day to grab any other lumber that I wanted to keep and were here promptly to remove the rest of the unclaimed lumber the following day. When they were done, you could not tell that they had just removed any trees except for the piles of mulch from the stump removal and a few small divets in the grass from dropping the tree limbs. Very professional and pleasant to deal with. Would use them again in a heart beat.

I was very pleased of what they did. They seem to know what they are doing especially the guy who came and did the quote. They cut the trees down in a wooded area – they didn't take them away or anything they just bring them down.

I had received a written estimate several months prior by Tom Miller, the owner, to have two 60 foot maple trees removed. Not knowing if he would still honor the quote, which was the cheapest of 7 I got over a few months, I placed a call. Tom the owner answered right away and said he would try to honor it but would have to come out and look to make sure. Within a day or two he was out and thankfully honored the previous quote. This was to remove two large (60 foot or so) maple trees, clear the brush, leave the wood piles, and grind the stumps out. He told me if may take a month or so but he would be in contact. To my surprise he called the next day and said he could fit me in and wanted to get it done while the ground was hard due to trucks having to be in the yard. We scheduled it the next day for 8:30am. 8:20am the next day the crew of 7 (I believe) showed up and got to work right away. They had all their equipment there including the chipper and stump grinder. A large bucket truck was driven in the yard due to having access and my ok. The foreman introduced himself and was very polite. Soon after the work begun, and within two hours the trees were completely down. Even before the second tree was half way down the first stump was already ground out. The large chunks of wood were neatly piled as I requested to be left. Around 10:30 majority of the crew had moved on and two members stayed to finish grinding the second stump out. By 11:30 everything was done despite being 85 degrees and very humid that morning. I would recommend this company for anyone looking to have any tree work done. Tom provided me with a free estimate and honored it when he could have said no. Also the crew was quick and professional despite having to work around power lines and a decent size wood shed nearly under one of the trees.

Trimmed all the trees (5) in the yard. Came back 4 weeks later to treat Ash tree because treatment had to wait until leaves had come out. Prompt and Courteous.

I had had this company several years ago prune my trees, but this was my first experience with having a tree removed. I would have appreciated knowing how much was involved so maybe this will inform others. I opted to save $300. by having the wood left to be taken by people who wanted to use it. I knew one person with a wood stove who wanted the wood, and found others who were happy to take it. I was very lucky to have helpful neighbors who gave me a lot of their time even though they did not personally need the wood. I wanted to get the huge pieces of tree off the lawn as quickly as possible. There are multiple holes from the heavy equipment needed to cut down the tree. AAA did tell me about that. One thing I didn't realize was how many wood chips would fly around the yard. Some even went over the roof to the front yard. Also I was lucky to be able to use the wood chip mulch that remained. This I did not expect, through ignorance I guess. But it was pretty heavy lifting as mulch spreading always is. All in all, it was an experience. AAA took away a large number of smaller top limbs and cleaned up as well as could be expected. I'm sure if I had paid to have all the wood disposed of they yard would have been cleared of the mulch as well.

Tom Miller is very knowledgeable and when we met with him, walked through our yard with us to discuss problem areas and possibilities. After we determined the work we wanted done, we were scheduled within a week. The crew showed up on time and was well-prepared with trucks and equipment to complete the job. Tom foreman, Don, is incredibly professional as is his entire crew. They are friendly, conversant, and so polite. They make sure they are doing exactly what you want done and verify throughout the process that they are doing as expected. The entire crew is always meticulous in cleaning up (we've used them on a number of occasions) and are respectful of you, your property and surrounding plants so as to not cause any damage. Tom's knowledge base is extensive and he offers great suggestions. We can't imagine using anyone but AAA Tree & Landscaping!

Whole job was completed in about 2 hours with no complications.

We called Tom at AAA via a reference from a friend as well as the reviews posted on Angie's List. He came by and looked at the property and gave us a fair quote (by fair I mean reasonable sounding to us). We discussed that due to the Red Bud tree leaning against the cable and electric wires going to the house that we would like this job done quickly. He said he wouldn't give us a date that he would come out as this job was a simple job and he would take care of us after he finished another job in the neighborhood. We reiterated that we wanted it done soon and he assured us the following week would work for him. It was a Friday the 19th of April. The week came and went and we didn't hear from him. So on Tuesday the 23rd, I called him again and asked if he was going to do the job or if we needed to look for someone else. He apologized for the confusion, remembered the job and said he would get out the next day. Wednesday came and went, no service. I again figured I would give him some time. Still didn't hear from him. So on Sunday, my spouse and I decided we would call another company on Monday and get quotes. Monday afternoon, literally as I was getting ready to dial another company, the phone rang and it was Tom stating he would come out the following day if that was good for us. I asked my spouse and we said sure. The rest of the service was excellent!! They came out and in 45 minutes had completed the entire job. And did it very well!! We were quite pleased with the results despite the confusion of scheduling at the beginning. I would definitely use AAA again. I would just be more cautious about calling them for jobs that needed to be done quickly. So, all A's from us except for responsiveness. But overall, fantastic!!!!

The estimate was done by a certified arborist, he was professional and had good recommendations for meeting my objectives while keeping the trees healthy. The work was scheduled and accomplished within a week of the initial bid. A professional 8-man crew accomplished the work in 3 hours and cleaned everything up before they left. The foreman met with me ahead of time to verify exactly what was to be done for each tree. They were careful with the branches overhanging the house and used ropes to get the sections down without damaging the roof. They cut the larger branches into firewood and left in a pile, and removed the rest. I would work with them again.

I found Tom to be very professional and courteous when I met with him. He pointed out another tree on the border of a wooded area in our lot that was almost dead and offered to have the crew cut it down and grind the stump while they were there for just another $100. The crew arrived on time and quickly did their work. They had everything done within an hour. They even ground down the stumps of two arborvitae that used to be in our yard as a courtesy. I was very pleased with their work and would definitely use them again in the future.

After determining I needed to have several trees trimmed or removed I called this company for an estimate. The owner, Thomas Miller, I found to be rude, rushed, and abrasive. He was late for our appointment time by a half hour before he called to give me a heads up on what time he would be there. This was not that big of a deal because I realize things happen. Right from the start Mr. Miller seemed to be rushed even though I had waited an hour for him. He seemed to be offended by me asking questions about removal of tree roots above the ground. His exact words were "This is a pet peeve of mine." I only wanted to know what he would charge for such a thing. I also asked him if he if was insured just to protect myself in case of damage and his offended response was "What is your profession?" I was then talked down on as he explained how much he has to pay for workers compensation. His attitude was by far the worst out of the 7 estimates I received that month. I had nothing but good experiences from all the others that came out. Granted he did provide a very reasonable estimate for the removal of two trees. His attitude though made me go with the second best estimate. I would not recommend having work done by this company. I am a 34 year old man and I would hope he treats women and the elderly better but I seem to doubt he would.

'Tom Miller analyzed our trees and provided us with some general cost guidelines. He explained in detail what the bores were doing and how he proposed to treat the trees. Once we decided to move forward we made an appointment for Kevin to do the treatment. Kevin walked around with me and helped me determine which trees were the best candidates to treat and which weren't. He was friendly, informative, thorough and professional.

TOM MILLER, OWNER, CALLED ME THE NIGHT BEFORE AND WE SET A TIME. TODAY THE CREW ARRIVED AT THE APPOINTED TIME..HE KNEW I WANTED THE DISEASED ELM out, but we WALKED THE YARD AND the crew leader answered my questions about other trees. I had their service 2 years ago and also had a great experience when more work needed to be done.They had to drive the truck with the bucket into my yard but protected the yard from tire marks. I was told that everything still looked fine. He did say he would remove a few dead branches at no extra cost. There were three trucks and 7 men and each one knew exactly what his job was. When they left, everything was cleaned up and loaded on the truck. Not a leaf or stick left in the yard. It was all done in forty five minutes.

I was very pleased with the service, the trees look great and there wasn't much falling from them after that. Other companies have come in to clean up the trees but they never did a very good job. I thought the price was expensive but I thought that it was worth it. I would use them again in the future.
