The techs who showed up were great! They were very personable and knowledgeable about the services they would be performing. They worked quickly and were very thorough in their instructions as to what to do after the sprayings.

Mike Lemaster of A-Abel did a great job! Not only did he remove/replace the water heater, he installed a new gas line to the heater and, when he was finished with the remove/replace, he cleaned up every little bit of mess he made during the process! The family is thrilled with their new hot water supply.

It went very well. We called A-Abel after another plumbing company dropped the ball. The work turned out to be more than we expected, but it was done quickly, and most importantly, done correctly. The technician that came out to our home explained everything well, was up front with pricing, and cleaned up after himself when the work was finished. We will absolutely call again for any future plumbing needs.

They do all kinds of things. We like them very much.

They get in the deck, they get in the wooden parts, they get in tables and things and they lay eggs. Then the larva eats its way out through the wood and makes holes. In that visit, he sprayed the foundation of the house. We've got trees in the back, he sprays around the trees because of mosquitoes this time of the year. He tries very hard to make sure you get your monies worth out of it. We really like him. We got their name from our daughter who had hornets or something last year and we really liked them.

On July 21st I asked for an estimate for installing a utility sink in my garage. They had someone call me back and ask that I text him the specifics for the job. I have since followed up once via text and twice via phone but no call back or estimate has come our way. I am now looking for another service provider.

Last year I called A-Abel to replace my blower motor. It was replaced and they came back out in July to perform service and said the reason my system isn't properly cooling is because my system needs replaced. I found out just last week that AAbel installed the wrong blower motor by calling a different company to diagnose my system. I called AAbel the next day and they were very apologetic and offered to reimburse me, at that time I agreed verbally to let another company fix their mistake. AAbel emailed the next day and said they changed their minds and would not reimburse! AAbel refuses to reimburse for improper services performed even after I provided proof of the incorrect maintenance action. PLEASE stay away from them and avoid the negligent technicians. This is a company that will not keep their word and will try to get you to buy a new system for something that can be fixed easily.

It didn't go well. We had to get a room cleaned up so they could get to the access point but they turned out not to really help us at all. Basically they just wanted to put poison down which would have harmed the other animals we have in the house. Then he said there was a good chance that we would have dead mice rotting in our walls or there would be sprung traps and my grand kids could come out here and find dead or hurt mice in a trap. I was wondering if there was any way for me to get a refund since they didn't do anything but evaluate it. I think $200 for an evaluation is too much. I didn't care for the attitude of the man that came out. They did call 2 days after I bought it. He was about a half hour late.

Tech called ahead to alert me he was on the way. Arrived and gave me an estimate. Was very professional and friendly.

Ron & Tom were great diagnosticians. They found the problem and went straight to work to repair the "neutral." Soon, the electricity was restored to the shed. Both men were true professionals.

The service was incredible. Unlike most of the other service people I've hired before, they showed up when they said they would, did what they said they'd do, and were exceedingly pleasant and professional despite the chaos in this house with overly friendly dogs and a cranky cat, a homeowner who had worked all night and was dealing with urgent eldercare issues 500 miles away by phone, and the inherent complications of an old, odd house in the country. They also were very understanding about my wish not to use glue traps. I would think I'd dreamed it except their nice, neat, itemized receipt is on the counter.

I still cannot believe that this contractor--like the others from this firm--showed up on time and actually considered my wants and needs. Contractors from other firms have tried to talk me into things I don't want. I refuse to think that might be because I'm a woman so I just will concentrate on how pleased I am with this contractor.

When called about our Generator problem, they responded promptly. They already has us in their system from prior work, so things went a tad more quickly. Regardless, they were prompt and responsive. A-Abel sent a truck and two men out, I described the problem and they set to work. They figured out the problem; however, they then ran the unit to be sure it would run without shutting off automatically as it had. Then they also got the generator to automatically turn on several times to ensure that all was working well. They checked with me and explained the situation which was the fault of a minor spring. They also said that if I had additional problems soon with it shutting off again, to call A-Abel and they would change out a different part. (They wrote down what it was just in case it were a different person that came.) It has been several months, and all is well. Without question, I would and I will use A-Abel again for electrical or for the generator. I marked them down very slightly as I felt it was a bit high; HOWEVER, to be fair, it was a truck and two men for about 40 minutes, and they drove about 30 to 35 miles each way to get here. Regardless of that, I would still use them and recommend them!

I messaged them through Angie's List 1st and got a quick response. I didn't follow through until a day or so later since I was hoping to catch him myself. When that failed I tried to schedule with them and their responsiveness wasn't great. When I did get a hold of them, we scheduled it for 11am-1pm. 1:00 rolled around and I messaged them and he responded saying he forgot to schedule it. Then I got a VM from their office saying they scheduled it for 4-6pm. Personally, I think this mix-up on their part warranted at least a discount or something. One good thing is they showed up very close to 4 and called ahead of time to check in - I do appreciate that. They didn't have to use any special equipment or anything. The original estimate was $85 +tax (and was printed on the invoice) until the technician crossed it out with a pen and put $150+tax without any explanation. I already thought $85 would be steep for what this entailed. I kept trying to ask what they would do with the squirrel and how they wanted to do it, but felt more like a nuisance bothering them than a customer that they should explain things to. I would recommend that a business always come in professionally by introducing themselves and talking about the options in detail before doing anything instead of making the customer feel like they were trying to play catch up in understanding what's going on in their own house.

We were very pleased with the man who came to our house. He helped us with the problem we had with the breakers and he evaluated future electrical needs. He offered ideas on workmanship. We will be contacting them again to continue the work needed.

We were experiencing outlets that were cutting in and out at times - at least some of them. There were about 8 -9 outlets that were involved. A-Able showed up promptly when scheduled. The electrician was very friendly and professional. After a few outlets, he knew the problem and was able to fix and correct the problems with some of our outlets. In most cases it involved switching out the old for new outlets which solved the problem. In one case, he recommended using one with a GFI switch since it was in the garage. He worked about two hours or so, and we are most happy with their work. We would use them again.

Prior to scheduling, I informed the representative that I currently had no plumbing issues but just wanted a technician to verify that everything was okay in my plumbing before getting my house remodeled. Technician wasn't able to provide me with any information and I had to pay a service charge of $49.50.

There was a problem after they installed the tank and they needed to order a part. It seemed like the materials and products aren't A rated.

I called to request a water softener evaluation & maintenance. I was told the fee for someone to come out and evaluate would be $49.95. I scheduled an appointment (between 8am and 1pm, which is quite a large window, in my opinion). I requested a call prior to arrival. On the appointment date, I finally received a called between 10:30 and 11:00am, saying he was on the way. He arrived and strolled around. Looked at my water softener, ran water at the kitchen sink, commented on how nice the condo is, strolled around some more, and told me the water softener was working fine. He told me that he had a heart attack the previous weekend and wasn't even supposed to be working! Then proceeded to charge me an ADDITIONAL $50 DIAGNOSTIC FEE on top of the $49.95. I was disgusted and called the office immediately and complained about a $100 total cost for less than 30 minutes on site and nothing done. Mr Kotowski did grant me a refund of the $50 "diagnostic fee" and it appeared promptly on my credit card. But the bottom line is that nothing was really accomplished for $49.95 except some guy showed up and gave me his opinion about my water softener. My neighbor would have done that for free and it wouldn't have cost me $49.95 plus a half day of vacation time from work. I will NEVER call A-Abel plumbing again.

When the house was being infiltrated by unwanted, aggressive yellow jackets, A-Abel was the only company, (I phoned 4 additional pest control companies), that felt our urgency. Every other company that we contacted could not schedule an appointment for several days out. .A-Abel understood the danger involved with these pests and assigned an associate to our home the same afternoon. Cody arrived and immediately accessed the situation. We had thousands of yellow jackets that had nested in the ventilation pipe to one of our bathrooms and they were entering the home. In less than an hour, Cody had taken care of everything. While in my home he was extremely respectful of the environment, he was professional and courteous. For the first time in a long time my expectations were exceeded. Now a day has passed since the treatment and no signs of the critters.

Went fine. Issues addressed, plumber was pleasant and professional.

They are not registered properly in Ohio. They ignored my phone calls, emails, and letter from my lawyer. They emptied the old water tank on the front lawn & left a 6 ft. area of burnt grass. They dropped the toilet they had to remove in order to install the tub & broke it. They made gauges & scratches on the front door & walls. They just basically just left a mess when they were finished. The president of the company was rude & insulting & blamed it on me. Nothing was working correctly so this is why I returned it. Other people told me not to use them. They are crooks. The BBB is in it for profit....they protect their businesses, not the public...which is this case. Keep away from this company. The legal matters are all over now. I had to have another company do this job. They ended up doing a great job from start to finish.

The service has been great. They have been on time and will come when am not here to perform the service. They call and let me when they are available to come out and make a schedule. They will come out and leave the bill and it has been great.

From the beginning everything went smooth. They did everything they said the would and were a friendly bunch and nice people.
