We had just moved and our dryer was turning off automatically after it was turned on. I thought, since we just moved, that the electrical in the new place was faulty so we called A Abel to come out and take a look. Jacob came out the same day we called and started checking the home's electrical system but couldn't find anything wrong. Then, he took a close look at the back of the dryer. Apparently, while the dryer was being moved something in the back was broken which made the electricity switch off. Jacob replaced the part and the dryer has been working without incident since then. Great and timely service. Will definitely call on Jacob/A Abel again when needed.

I was very pleased with them. The men were considerate and knowledgeable. They cleaned up after themselves. They appeared to be very confident and very thorough. I would use them again in the future.

Very poorly.... Do not do business with A Able

Our water heater started acting up on Monday. No one else would even come out to look at it the same day. A Abel was able to get here Monday to find out what was wrong and back again first thing on Tuesday with a new water heater. Service was excellent and I will use them again in the future.

He came in, and put on shoe protectors. He did an efficient, but not rushed evaluation of what we thought at the time was a bug problem. He looked in every seam of our mattress, bedding, and couch, and everywhere else bugs could be. He found nothing at all. Along the way, he explained what he was doing and why. At the end of the 10-minute or so visit, he recapped his findings, and answered several of my questions.

They did a good job. They were timely and I had no complaints. They had to come back and fix a small leak. It leaked a little bit when they put it in and one guy had to come back and redo it.

We had a gentleman that came in to do drywall and he said that it was the toilet that was leaking and he wasn't even a plumber. Needless to say I won't be using Able again. The price would have been reasonable if he had done something. The guy came as soon as I called so I thought I had found myself a plumber.

They did a great job. There were no setbacks. I dislike the fact that they give a time window like 1pm to 4pm, which is inconvenient.

I called A-Abel to clear a kitchen drain after trying to plunge and snake the drain myself with no success. The clog was in the pipe after it entered the wall and tuned down. I called on a Monday morning and a friendly, professional woman told me the cost and scheduled my appointment that morning. The service man showed up and was friendly and professional. He assessed the situation and looked at the condition of my pipes and warned me of any possible damages that could happen. Then he presented me with a written estimate before preforming any work. The price was the same as my normal plumber charges ($100), but A-Abel always has coupons in the paper so it was $75. He had it fixed in no time! He took care to make sure the problem was gone completely and checked the dishwasher (were water had drained into) and the bathroom sink as well (which was tied into the same pipe). I was very satisfied with their professionalism and felt that they were honest and trust worthy.

I liked everything about them. I am very happy with them. They are professional. They didn't make a mess and cleaned up after themselves. They are fast and punctual. The price was reasonable.

Always on time and on budget for repairs or routine service. Always call ahead to let you know exactly when they will be here. Any work they have performed has been top notch.

We have been with A-Able for 10 years and are very satisfied.

They were very professional in terms of how they provided the quote and estimated the job and were prompt in terms of being on time. The crews that they used were contracted, so they were not their own employees. There is some risk that I might not get a good crew, but the crew I had was good, so I didn’t have any complaints about that. The work was covered by insurance, so I did not actually pay anything for it, but I think the work itself was about $16,000; the price was generally higher than most companies. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

When I called to set up the appointment they gave me the service call amount in addition to the hourly rate and said they would be there between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm. Dave Fox, the service representative called at 8:15 and said he was on the way. He was very knowledgable and courteous. Apparently the bathrooms were on the same electrical circuit as the garage which is kind of unusual and it took him a little time to figure it out. He worked the entire time he was there without taking any type of break. He also installed a new outlet in the garage. After he had gone, we attempted to use one of the outlets in the main bathroom and it didn't work. We called Dave and he came right back to the house within the hour.. The GFIS he had installed was defective from the factory. He put in another - there was no additional charge. I would definitely use A Abel Electric again and also recommend them to my friends.

Excellent service, as always. Arrived on time, went to work quickly and made all needed repairs. We will definitely continue to use AABEL for all our home repair needs.

This vendor had the right price for my new H/VAC system. It also included a better air cleaner than my old one. The work done was excellent and timely.

My husband usually pays him ahead of time, so the next visit 6 months later would already be paid for. He is very nice, very capable and he never leaves a mess.

The A-Abel rep arrived exactly when he said, and was very good to work with. He said he could install a replacement gutter and perform the soffit and fascia repair, but said that what he could install would not resemble the Leaf Guard gutters on the rest of the house. He recommended another company in town (Wayne Overhead Door) who installed gutters similar in appearance and function to Leaf Guard. The company he recommended did excellent work.

Called A-abel and explained to them the problem and told them I wanted them to complete all plumbing and repairs. After first visit the shower still was leaking so I had them out again and told them that not only the shower was still leaking but the 2nd bath was also leaking now. Plumber fixed the shower leak but assured me the bath was not leaking and the water was from the shower leaking. The 2nd bath was still leaking so I had them back out for the third time and the plumber tore into the tile to fix leak. It was a simple diverter replacement but he took out so many tiles that the hole couldn't be covered by replacement cover. He also left me no bath spigot and the faucet handle he left me was missing the set screw. They charged me 1367.00 and I still had to do the repairs to the tile and two trips to the store for the plumbing they didn't complete. I called the manager to complain and he just gave the typical lip service, no offer to come out to inspect job or adjust bill for the work that was not completed. So, bottom line is for two leaks and after explaining that I didn't want to have to do any plumbing or repairs I ended up paying about 1400.00 dollars and still had to do some plumbing and repairs. I have quite abit of experience in remodeling and would never use this company again.

Overall, we had an outstanding experience from the initial meeting with Cal to the work actually being performed. Cal, the HVAC service manager, came out and did a complete review of home and really tried to answer our problem as opposed to focusing just on our primary question. He offered a number of other recommendations to meet our underlying need (a more evenly cooled/heated home). Just a true professional who seems to really care about the customer. The following week, the service techs came out ot perform the work. They arrived on time and did a neat, tidy job. Not only did they connect the run, but sealed off the ducting and added a lever to close off the vent if desired later. I have a gut feeling that the price paid may only be slightly high for the service and there was just a tad bit of confusion on when the service would be performed which only required us calling back to check. Not too bad. In short, this was an excellent experience that I can't say enough about and, based on our experience, would strongly recommend them in the future.

My dryer vent runs from the front of the house to the back and is housed under the floor. My clothes were taking forever to dry. Called AAble, they came out within a couple of days and come to find out I had a bird's nest blocking the vent. The technician did his thing and things have been great ever since. I'll be using them for duct cleaning very soon.

When they arrived it took them around two hours to realize they couldn't or didn't want to do the work because they had not had the appropriate company come out and mark the gas line. They than informed me they didn't know when the line could be marked and we would just have to wait and see when it could be done. I told them it had been turned off and wasn't a working line and that they should go ahead and do the line. This job was supposed to take one day from start to finish. Before they had talked to me, they had already cancelled the permit inspector for the day.They began the the trenching and finished the electrical work, the plumbing was completed also. This was done on Thursday. The inspector did not show up until the following Tuesday, so I had a twenty foot trench open during constant rain. They kept telling me because of complications this was just the way it was. The clean up was becoming more difficult because of the rain. It seemed like I was going to be responsible for these complications. After the inspector came, I called about the back fill and they sent one man at 4:15 to do the job. He did a good job for two feet and then pushed clumps of mud into the trench, leaving huge mounds. Unable to place the stones on top of the mounds he left before 5:00. He told me the rain would break up the clumps and make the mounds go down. I called the owner Wednesday morning, never receiving a call back. In the afternoon I called the receptionist and she had the job manager call me. He said he would stop over and see what the situation was, but maybe that was what a rough backfill was. He came and said a better job could be done and corrected the situation. A week later my job was complete. During the whole process I felt that these complications were a big, "too bad for you." Before I realized the cleanup was going to be a hassle I called the same company about a coomon roof repair. They came over to give me an estimate but have decided not to put in a bid. Saying, something to the effect that this is something their company does not want to get involved in. The first reason was because they weren't sure they worked with rubber roofs. It states very clearly on their advertiseing they do roof repairs and rubber roofs. I would not use this company. It was apparent to me that because of their mistakes my job became unprofitable and a hassle to the company.
