I listed a piano on Facebook free to a good home that would hire piano movers. I am so happy they chose A1 Piano Movers to move it up and out of my basement. I had heard great things about these guys and then I got to witness them in action and they truly are the best at what they do. Very professional and respectful. I would hire them if I ever needed a piano moved!

Outstanding professionals. I had to decide what to do with a piano that had been in my family for three generations. I wanted to understand the condition of the piano and, based on the answers, determine whether to keep it or let it go. I found both brothers not only understood the mechanics of a piano but, almost more importantly, understood the emotional attachment one has towards a valued object. I would call on this company again without reservation.

They were the best! Very professional and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with the service and the staff!!

It went flawless. We had to coordinate two family schedules and their schedule and were able to easily move it. There were two fairly steep driveways involved. Additionally, it turned out some of the bolts were missing for the legs, and they had the spare parts on hand and replaced the missing bolts. Definitely recommend hiring such professionals rather than trying to move a piano on your own.

These fellas did a wonderful job with the moving, in and out of each residence, taking care of our precious 'stuff' as if it were their own. Steve was so very personable and made the entire process easy, painless, and fun!

Excellent. My home had a lot of outside steps, which they handled with no problems. Also, I had a coupon for a 10% discount. I forgot to bring it with me, but they still honored it. (Sorry for waiting so long to submit the review.)

The guys that showed up we very professional and fast. It had rained very hard just before they got there and they took special care not to soil the new carpet. I've never seen 2 men handle a piano with such ease. We called A-1 last minute and they found the time at the end of the day to get the piano inside for us. Thanks for all your help!!

I did my due diligence and researched Angie's List and called Piano Pros as well as UC Conservatory of Music. Everyone knew Steve the owner and highly reccommended A-1 Piano Movers. I figure if all of these professional high end establishments work with A-1 Piano. Then I should give them a try. I contacted Steve the owner and found out that they are family owned and have been in business well over 40 years. His knowledge of various piano brands is astounding!! He is a very busy business owner who moves alot of pianos but took time out to make sure all my questions were answered and actually helped me to decide which piano was best for my daughter based on his experience!! Amazing!!!!! He coordinated the move and the distance with fine precision and worked with my schedule to deliver the piano on time and without any hitch or problems. They have all the right equipment and professional experienced staff. I thought it would take them hours to manuver my front porch and bushes... Nope!!! It only took them approximately 15-20 minutes!! Perfectly Delivered our piano like it was an expensive Steinway!!! They can do just about anything piano in my opinion!!!! These Guys in my opinion are the best in the business!!!!! I will call them every time I need to move our piano and so should you!!! Five Star Rating *****

A1 was FANTASTIC!!! WOW!!! From the moment, I spoke with Larry on the phone to get a quote I was impressed! I contacted several other companies to help with this piano move and none of them could match the price or the professionalism of A1!!! We were very flexible in our timing...our number one priority was to have our 40 year old piano moved safely. Within one week of speaking with Larry, I was contacted with a date for the piano pick up in MN, and it was delivered to our house the next day. So this was 10 days from my initial contact with Larry! We could not be more pleased. I was contacted on vacation by Steve who was very responsive. Greg kept my parents informed on his arrival time and they were super impressed with how professional, courteous and efficient Greg and his partner were! They even took a couple extra boxes in the truck for us! They had excellent communication in route and even gave us the option for a late night delivery, which turned out to be extremely helpful!!! The piano arrived in excellent condition....they actually made it look easy!! They were courteous, and professional and took extra time to make sure the piano was placed exactly where we wanted it! I would highly recommend A1........they were a class act from the first phone call to the final delivery. I can not say enough good things about their service.

I purchased a piano from a family in Ansonia and needed it delivered to my home in Ludlow Falls. This required coordination between both of us and A-1. The folks at A-1 were very friendly and helpful and were able to accomodate both of our schedules. When the piano was delivered to my home the gentlemen were all very friendly but efficient. I also needed an old piano removed. After the new piano was set up and placed in position the old piano was wisked away. The entire delivery took less than 30 minutes. I was impressed with the professionalism of all the folks at A-1 and I would recommend a good piano mover to retain the quality of the instrument being moved! I also received a discount with a coupon from Angie's list!

They carefully moved the piano into our home. They are professional. There was no damage to the piano that was moved to the desired location.

No issues at all. On time, no damage, good communication

The movers were on time and very professional and courteous. My house is on a hill with a lot of outside concrete steps. They had the piano ready to move and down to their truck in no time. The condo is just 3 miles from the house so I can't evaluate them on a long-distance move, but the whole process took less than an hour. I was very happy with the service and I think the price was fair. It included a 10% Angie's List member coupon.

It went very well. I liked the care they gave to the piano and how they packed it up.

All went very well. They showed up on time, inspected the piano thoroughly, and showed us even a small imperfection. Handled the piano professionally while moving & loading on the truck. Upon delivery, they showed up on time and moved & placed the piano at the desired place. The owner made the delivery himself. Our son, daughter-in-law and our young grand daughter are all very happy with the move. This is what we expected from an Angie's list contractor, & that is what we got.

They are our choice movers. They are prompt, great with the customers, easy to work with and very friendly.

They were prompt, professional, and quick. They obviously had a great deal of experience, because they used a rubber mallet to remove the legs, used padding when closing the lid, and knew to tie the body to the side of the truck. They also padded the bench and tied it down. At the new home, they used the padding to cover my new carpet, and were eager to place the piano exactly where I wanted it - even moving it a couple of inches each way when I requested it to be placed just a bit further to the left, and a bit closer to the wall. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
