 + -1 moreThis job should have been simple. All the electrician needed to do is detach and reattach our exterior electrical unit during a residng job. However, the electrician lolly-gagged for much of the 2 1/2 hours we were charged for (at $70 plus per hour), and attempted to use undersized fittings to reattach the power cable to the house. Our original (but relatively recent) fittings were perfectly fine and matched the color of the cable. The electrician insisted on changing them out and charging us for the new fittings. When I called the owner, he blamed the contractor for wanting to do the work himself and made reference to the fact that we were paying lots of money for residing our entire house with real cedar shakes. The contractor was justifiably concerned that the new cedar shakes would be damaged by somebody who didn't know what they were doing, so he kept a close watch on the electrician. What a disappointment
