They did not complete the project and when you call them they did not rectify the problem. They came over but they said that I took the light out. They said that they can no longer do anything due to that and they said I have violated the warranty but it is not true cause it is included on the user manual. They are very unprofessional. Instead of it getting better it got worse and now they refuse to work on it.

After spending 6 hours to get thru to Frigidaire customer service and another hour to speak to the escalation team, I finally was able to get them to schedule one of their recommended & approved vendors to come and look at our year old refrigerator that has been making a horrible noise for 8 months now. (I won't even begin to tell you how I fell about Frigidaire) The scheduler from Protec calls and shares with me that the repair was requested from 8 am to noon, but they only had an open appointment from noon till 5. The Frigidaire escalation person assured me it would be from 8 - noon, she also told me the call was a one time full parts & labor covered appointment. The same scheduler told me no this was a billable call per the write up from Frigidaire. Not wanting tp miss a chance to get this lemon of a refrigerator looked at by their repair company I agreed to pay the $149 plus tax and told him I would argue with Frigidaire after they were done with their work. The repair Tech arrives at the house and I explain the issues to him, show him a video of the fridge making the terrible noise and share that the Appliance company we purchased the unit from (also a Frigidaire approved vendor) had already worked on it. I explained that the appliance company had already replaced the ice maker fan and completely replaced the ice making unit with factory parts sent to them by Frigidaire. He proceeded to test the fan and then removed the ice maker unit completely. After a review he explained your problem is that the appliance company replaced the ice maker incorrectly. He showed me two small grey plastic circles where he stated the screws should have been screwed into, then showed me two small screw holes directly next to those plastic circles. He stated the unit was not pushed back far enough which was the cause of the noise. To which I asked, then why did the refrigerator make noise two months after we purchased it and if the appliance repair tech installed it incorrectly - why wasn't there screw holes in the plastic from where the factory installed the original ice maker??? To which he stated, I don't know. He then reinstalled the ice maker forcing it back and supposedly screwing it into the small grey circles. He then told me the he did not like the waviness above the ice maker, which came from the factory like that. He then recommended an epoxy sealer for an additional $50. I told him fix it and I'll argue with Frigidaire after you leave. Now $202 later and frustrated by it all, I go to my office to call Frigidaire escalation team to find out why nothing went as explained to me by them. After another hour + to someone on the phone, Frigidaire tells me that the service was sent to Protec as full covered parts & labor. they spoke to Protec, who told Frigidaire that they knew it was a fully covered call but the monies Frigidaire would pay them would not cover their costs to repair the unit... why would they tell me the call was a billable call per Frigidaire's repair order?? Can you say double dipping? Protec also told Frigidaire that the unit was incorrectly installed by the appliance companies repair tech, after correctly being installed by the factory. WHAT? No screw holes in the original small grey circles, the refrigerator made lots of noise before the appliance company installed any new factory repair parts. Can you say BS? I would tell everyone, DO NOT ever call Protec Repair unless you want to get robbed!!
