Description of Work: When I called the gentleman didn't even answer the phone by the company name, he just said hello. So I had to clarify that I was with you right person. Second he seemed like he was doing me the favor by coming out in two months to do the job. I honestly don't know what work they do or how well they do it but I didn't like his condescending attitude from the start of the phone call. Definitely not customer friendly!!!!!

Description of Work: MDS painting was amazing! We originally hired them from an Angie's List deal to prime the entire upstairs then ended up having them paint one bedroom and two baths as well. Their quality was second to none - they even fixed some drywall issues. They were able to fit us in last minute and adjusted easily when we changed the job on them. I really can't say enough good things about them and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: They stripped wallpaper in the kitchen, prepped and painted the kitchen, family room and entry way. They did a very good job. They were professional and attentive. They were honest and let me know what they could and could not do. Their price was fair for the work done. I would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: MDS Painting was hired to paint our 2-story entry way. I was a little concerned about the professionalism after meeting the owner. I was happy to hear that they could start right away, and since we were having a house-warming party in the next week I was ready to have it finished. There were three guys who came to paint and they were pretty quick and were very nice. After they left my husband and I looked over the walls and noticed there were areas that were not covered, especially around the edges. My husband called the owner and they came out next day to fix the spots that we saw. While we would not expect perfection if we had taken on the task of doing the painting, after paying almost $900, we did expect perfection. They were kind enough to come fix it right away which was good, but would have been nice to just have it done correct in the first place. I don't know if I would use this company again or not.

Description of Work: Amending my previous "F" grade. The owner, Mike Stahl, contacted me and explained the reason he had not returned my calls was because he had been in a severe car accident last week. Mike will be laid up for a short while longer and he did offer to come out and give me an estimate when he's back on his feet. Get well Mike!

Description of Work: MDS did a great job! We had three rooms, trim and several doors painted. They were on time, professional and friendly. The house was left as clean, or better than when they started. Great value for the money.

Description of Work: Mike and his team did a great job! I had to fix up a rental after the tenants left it a mess, and Mike was creative, prompt, and his prices were reasonable. Also, the quality if his work was amazing! I'm very happy with the work he did & would recommend him to everyone!!!

Description of Work: Contacted MDS for an estimate. Mike came out the next day and gave me an estimate to paint the front foyer, main stairwell and upper hall walls and ceilings. Agreed to the price and contract. Mike asked if I wanted the painting done before Thanksgiving and I said that it would be nice but not urgent. He stated that he had an opening. Mike and his helper started the job on Sunday and finiished on Tuesday. They were punctual, professional and did a great job.

Description of Work: Mike was excellent. His estimate came in perfect and was completely professional, punctual and did EXCELLENT WORK! He was fast and protected all my furniture. Nothing but high marks from me! I plan on using him to do more of my house in the next few months. Description of Work: Mike painted the outside of our house last summer (2011). Currently (2-2012), he is painting a bedroom inside our house. He is very friendly and cooperative. He does a great job and we have received lots of compliments from neighbors. When the porch started chipping right away, we worked together to try out a different type of sealant since it is a high traffic area. He still needs to finish the garage - all the rain last summer threw off his schedule. His prices were reasonable - we got several bids. He worked alone except for one part he could not reach. The original bid for the whole house did not include the porch or doors so we added a small amount for the porch. The $375 is the current price for the bedroom which includes materials.
