He was the consummate professional from the first time we contacted him for a quote, to the scheduling of the job, to the completion of the job. We picked our paint colors, he obtained the paint for us, and did everything necessary to make having our home painted as painless as possible. It was so exciting to come home each day and see the transformation on our walls. He made it easy for us.

It was a wonderful experience working with Mike and his helper from start to finish. They were punctual, friendly, did superb work, and cleaned up after themselves. I had originally made a paint color choice for the back stairs area that Mike noticed would not match the upper half of the wall that was not going to be painted. He suggested using a different color, which ended up being the exact match. He could have easily let me go with my original choice, but wanted to make sure that I got the color I really wanted. I would definitely have Mike back to do both interior and exterior painting for us, and after the first of the year hope to have him give us an estimate to paint our dining room

We were getting our home ready for a big celebration and needed some work done quickly. The owner responded promptly in both providing estimate and getting work done at our home. Great experience!

I recently bought a new house and wanted the entire inside painted prior to moving in. I had a strict timeline that I wanted the work done. Mike met with me and was willing to work with my schedule. He was punctual every day. The house looks amazing and I am so pleased with the work. I would definitly recommend MDS Painting.

Mike is very easy to deal with. He responds quickly to both phone calls and e-mails. He e-mailed our quote the next morning after our initial appointment. He also promptly responded to my questions about the quote. We were going on vacation for Spring Break and during this time Mike completed the job. When we returned home the rooms had been transformed into a bright and fresh looking appearance. We were very satisfied with the job and would use Mike again in the future.

Returned calls promplty. Arrived on time. Consulted on ways to improve appearance and quoated costs before performing work beyond original estimate Painting quaility is excellent exceeded anyone hired before. Cleaned up after. This guy is GOOD!

Mike did the job himself. Worked alone, very efficiently and professionally. He was friendly, accommodating and exacting in his work. And he cleaned up after himself quite thoroughly. We are quite pleased and would recommend him to anyone.

Mike came as advertised on Angies' List. Nice, easy going guy. Responsive. Estimated the job but then I changed up on him and gave him a higher priority job of removing large area of wallpaper and painting the wall and trim. He is extremely capable: the prep work following the wallpaper removal was extremely well done. My wife and I both feel it is the best interior painting work we ever had. He is coming back for further work in the near future. Very reasonably priced.

Mike was able to fit my small paint job in prior to the holidays and adhered to the schedule that best suited me. He arrived on time and completed the project in two days as he had comitted too. He was friendly and professional and did a great job.

I called mike for a quote on painting work in my kitchen. He scheduled me for an estimate. He arrived on time and was very very friendly and seemed very capable and professional. His quote was very competetive compared to the other 2 that I had gotten and I also felt that he was the most capable. He arrived on the first morning of the job right on time. He worked very efficiently and did such fine work. The job took 2 days and it was such a pleasure to have such a friendly enthusiastic person on the job. After my trim was installed by another company Mike didnt hesitate to come back out and touch up some areas that had been marked up from the construction. His work is great, and his work ethic is excellent ! Mike comes with the highest reccommendation from me!!!!

The results Mike deluvered were as promised......excellent.He kept us informed as to when he would arrive each day...worked ethicis outstanding....cleaned up each day...very professional....and cery service oriented. We will use his expertise again

We were very pleased with everything about Mike. His price was significantly less than another estimate we had received, and he was willing to work with the type of paint we specified, where the other painter was not. He was pleasant and professional, and the room looks great. He finished the job on time, even though we had a snow storm on one of the days he was working. I would not hesitate to use MDS Painting again, and would recommend Mike and his company to anyone.

Mike was professional and personable and responded promptly after initial inquiry. As noted in other reviews, he was meticulous and a pleasure to work with. It's amazing what a neat job he did - and didn't even need to use painter's tape! We will definitely hire him again for future painting jobs.

Mike was extremely professional. He returns phone calls promptly, provided us with estimates and performed the work on time. His work is meticulous. And he's a nice guy to boot! We had him paint our newly remodeled bathroom. He did such a great job, we hired him to paint another interior room, and he is about to embark on painting the whole exterior of our house! I love supporting local businessmen. And he is a pleasure to do business with!

Mike was wonderful throughout the entire job. He was always prompt, replied quickly to calls/messages, and was easy to communicate with regarding the work to be done. His prep and painting are excellent and he's very neat and tidy (I am very fussy). MIke is totally trustworthy and he is also very personable and a pleasure to have around. I found his price to be reasonable and I highly recommend him to one and all. He is now our family painter.

We are very pleased with his work and we plan on having him do exterior painting for us as well. We own an apartment and he is in a similar situation so he knew what we were looking for. He tried to keep it within our budget and he gave us his point of view as a fellow landlord. His price was competitive and he got the work done in a timely manner.

His prices were very reasonable based on multiple estimates that I got. He was reliable, honest, thorough, and very thoughtful about things going on around the house. He was extremely friendly and I trusted him when I was not home. His work was impeccable! He is the best painter that I have ever hired. The house looks beautiful!

I can not say enough about this painter. He was quick and efficient but didn't take any short cuts. He prepped the walls and filled all the holes (I had an issue hanging a mirror a while back). He helped me decide between the two colors I was waffling on and I am very glad I took his advise. I was going to go lighter and he pointed out that the contrast between the accent wall and the adjacent walls would be too extreme. He was experienced (he had used the color I picked and could tell me that on the walls it looks almost white). The crown moulding in the dining room is perfect. Having the crown put in added to the price but it was worth it, it makes it look like a new room. But the best thing about this painter is that he was polite and courteous. I felt comfortable having him in my house. He even let my four year old daughter, who kept pestering him, paint a little part of the wall. She was thrilled. So was I!

MDS painting originally was originally asked to just paint my son's bedroom. MDS was very sensitive to my environmental concerns regarding VOCs (especially in a child's bedroom) and they utilized the most safe and earth-friendly products available. MDS was courteous, kind, and very professional. After starting the work in the bedroom, MDS suggested a dual color tone to add depth and dimension and it was a great idea that I hadn't thought of! The bedroom looked so great, and there were no paint smells because of the paint that we used. Even though it was the middle of winter (a time when I wouldn't normally consider painting an interior), we decided to also get our dining room and living room painted as well. MDS was very flexible with the work schedule for this additional work. The whole experience was very pleasant. The job was done fantastically, very professional. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Michael Stahl came highly recommended and I could not be happier with his work. He is very meticulous with his painting and he is a nice, personable guy. I had old laminate cabinets that he took to his shop and made them look like new. He also had to prime ALL the walls as they had never had paint on them (just wallpaper) and were in terrible shape. He made them look beautiful. I also asked him if he could help with a couple of small projects in the kitchen that I needed done and he was more than willing to go the extra mile to achieve the look I wanted (French Country). Although I have not had him paint the outside (I have siding) I understand he does alot of this as well.
