Mike was in our home for 2 days. We only asked that he paint the walls, and not all of the woodwork. He worked quickly and did a good job. He has a very pleasant, engaging personality.

If you want a quality paint job, this is who you should use. First heard of him from someone at work and saw he was on Angie's list.... so had him and 4 others come out for estimates. Very professional. On time with quotes, follow ups and job. Did an extrodanary job on walls that needed much work done. Was very comfortable with leaving him at my house while I was not there. Job was completed in time he said it would be done. Would strongly give him a referrence for anyone looking for a painter. My neighbor is already interested. Extremely happy with job. Felt I definiately got my money's worth!

I wanted my great room painted. They ended up leaving after 4-5 hours, even though the Big Deal was for a day. They did good work, but I feel like they left quickly -- there were other things that could have been painted. If I were to hire them again in the future, I would want to be home; we left them with our housekeeper.

Although Mike's estimate was beyond our budget at the moment, we really appreciated his friendly and attentive manner as well as his communication. He even adjusted his estimate to try to accommodate us. Although it wasn't in our budget this year to have Mike do our painting for us, we would certainly consider him in the future for our painting needs. He's a very nice man to deal with.

He always showed up exactly on time. He was clean, neat, and pleasant. Mike was also very helpful in picking out colors. I knew what family of colors I wanted, but he suggested using varying tints in some rooms that had less light. The effect is beautiful. I think that the price was very fair, and his work was outstanding. I am looking forward to having Mike paint for me in the future.

Mike, the owner of MDS painting is not just a painter, he is an artist. Of course his painting is meticulous, but he also assisted me in color choices, made many helpful suggestions concerning process decisions and explained the work and scheduling in great detail. Moreover, he was always prompt and courteous, the price was fair, the job site was cleaned daily, and my house is now absolutely beautiful. I am so pleased with the interior painting Mike (MDS Painting) did that I?m pretty sure any review I provide of the whole experience will fall short of capturing just how pleased. I?d started a painting project but, due to an injury (unrelated), didn?t think I could complete the painting I?d begun in my foyer, living/dining room, and main hallway. Additionally, I wanted to get a bedroom with a walk-in closet painted before a roommate moves in. Having never hired a painter before, I went looking on Angie?s List and found a deal for MDS Painting for two painters for a day. After reading stellar reviews of MDS Painting, I decided to purchase the deal. Although I wanted the work done very quickly (who doesn?t), I assumed any painter I hired via an Angie?s List special deal might have a lot of jobs lined up and the wait for my current projects might be too long but figured, if so, I could use the purchased deal later on for one other painting project I have to tackle. Mike responded in good time and let me know he was working a big project and had a couple other customers ahead of me and kept me in the loop to estimate when he?d be available to start so that I could plan. Happily, it was not a long wait and Mike, working solo, worked two days and completed every bit of painting on my project list. Mike arrived on time, worked quickly, very neatly, and left the work zone (my home) just as clean as when he arrived but looking so much better painted. Mike?s approach to his work was as though he was painting his own place. That his work was of high quality was clearly important to Mike. Before starting painting of the walk-in closet, Mike was concerned that the ceiling white paint I had for the closet was not for use on the closet walls and since I was paying him to paint the closet he wanted me to be pleased with the result and recommended use of a proper wall paint. The paint store is nearby. Mike suggested the exact paint to ask for and what it would cost me on his discount and offered the use of his discount at the paint store for the gallon of paint I needed. Usually, I would expect to feel uncomfortable leaving someone working in my home, but did not have any concerns, based on my experience of Mike. Mike continued his work while I ran to the paint store. Mike provided primer needed to paint the inside of my front door and shared a few painting tips over the two days too (besides not using ceiling paint on closet walls). It?s fair to expect a good end product when hiring someone and, unfortunately, that expectation is not always met. Mike?s work surpassed my expectation of good work. Mike?s work is really high quality.

I am very pleased with MDS Painting LLC. Mike was professional, courteous and on time. He did more than I expected. He takes pride in his work and cleaned up some of my prior trim work so everything would match his perfect finish. Will have him back for more work.

Mike was great to work with. He responded to our request for a quote in a timely manner and showed up on-time to the appointment for the quote. We just moved into our home, so we had him paint the majority of the rooms in our house. It was a pretty big project! This included painting the builder-grade honey-oak cabinets, trim, and banister to white. I had a vision of my house and he helped to bring it to life. I work from home, so I saw Mike most days. He always arrived with a great attitude and he worked hard. I also found him to be a very nice person that I could trust in my home with or without me there. He promised that if I hired him, he would do the painting. That was true. He had assistance to help move furniture, but he painted everything himself. I think that is one of the best things about using him over other companies. I'd recommend his work and I would hire him again.

Promptly showed-up for estimate as agreed, prompt turn-around on proposal. When we asked for further details and clarifications on the proposal, Mike willingly provided the information requested. Showed-up on schedule to start the project as agreed, very reliable showing up each day as anticipated, any time Mike had another job to handle (i.e. estimate appointment) he always communicated his schedule to us ahead of time, so we knew what to expect. Mike has done a fantastic job. We are very particular when it comes to contracting services, and Mike fulfilled, no, exceeded all of our expectations. This job had a challenging schedule as my in-laws were moving into the home only eight weeks after project began. Mike was very co-operative in working with other trades involved at the same time, and communicated extremely well with us, and the other contractors with regard to when he would have things available, and when he would be on the job. Quality of work and attention to detail is excellent. Mike takes extreme pride in his work and it shows. We would definitely use MDS again, and would be pleased to refer additional business to him.

We need to know on an updated basis on the site when a contractor is able timewise to do work. Other wise we would use another contractor which we will do.

Mike was great. He was punctual, professional and did a very good job. He did a great job patching, even after there was a little more work to do than originally planned due to having some sconces rewired. He cleaned up every day after painting, and left the room spotless. The room looks great!

He did a good job. Mike is the owner and I think he's kind of like a one-man show. He's a generally good guy and we were pleased with the work that he did. It came out looking pretty good, so I have no complaints. He was kind of referred to us by a family friend and since he was reasonable we didn't get any other estimates from anybody else. We just had him do the work and his price was not outlandish.

Very pleased with the quality of the work, also appreciated how neat they were. Would recommend and use again.

I purchased a coupon from MDS Painting. They were punctual with the call back. They gave us a good estimate. Arrived on time. Did a great job. Very professional. We are very happy with their work and plan on using them to paint the exterior of our house.

They removed all furniture from each room as they painted and moved everything back, although some of the pieces were not back in the correct place, but that was no big deal to me. They did a GREAT JOB painting each room, which included a bedroom, a bathroom, and another bedroom which is being used as an office. The only complaint I have is they did not take out existing nails, patch over them, and paint, as other contractors have done for me in past jobs. I would most definitely recommend MDS to anyone. They were professional, reliable, easy to get along with and reasonable in price.

Mike was very prompt to return my initial phone call. He came over and gave me the estimate and began working within one week. He was always on time, did a great job and cleaned up every day. Mike kept to the promised time frame and estimate. He is very pleasant and very easy to work with. I will definitely use his services again.

I recently bought a multi-family home in Cleveland Heights, and needed to put a nice fresh coat of paint in the large living and dining rooms of the first floor unit. Each room needed two coats and included intricate trim work. Mike and his assistant completed this job in the amount of time he estimated (two days), were professional, clean, friendly, and the quality of work was superb. I am very glad I made this investment in hiring Mike for this job, as it will allow the unit to have a wow factor to potential tenants. Mike and his assistant completed this job in two days, which would have taken me at least a week or two by myself on nights and weekends. I would certainly recommend Mike for those looking to get some professional painting done.

Mike was very helpful on giving us several estimates on painting deveral rooms in the house. He responded very quickly with any questions or concerns we had before painting. He painted out kitchen as well as a dining room with trim. He did a very professional job and pointed out mistakes that a previouos painter a made.

Mike was extremely easy to work with. as a novice home-owner, i was not sure which paint would work best for each application. mike and i went to sherwin williams to choose the appropriate paint. He arrived timely and stuck to his estimate on both time and cost. mike does quality work and i would recommend to friends and family. and he was friendly with the dogs!

After a miscommunication about when MDS would start painting which had them starting later than previously planned and which I was actually happy about, there were no further hiccups. They started promptly on our new start date, took a break for the holidays anad came back and finished up more quickly than anticipated. Mike and Matthew were friendly and professional and I felt comfortable leaving them to do their work while I ran errands and such. Since we had just purchased the house and moved in, they pointed out things that they noticed might need to be fixed (a leaky toilet in a rarely used bathroom, some fraying electrical wire). They cleaned up each day and Mike would let me know ahead of time when they anticipated moving to another work area; it was nice that our entire house wasn't under construction the entire time. While I thought might have been on the expensive side, the work was excellent and my family and I are quite happy.

Mike and team were very flexible in fitting me in when I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal prior to moving in to my new place. Their services were great and the painting looks incredible. What took Mike and his helper a day to do would have taken me a week. There was lots of woodwork to trim around and they were careful. When they were low on paint, Mike even volunteer to run to Sherin Williams to get more. He supplied all of the painting supplies and I supplied the paint. They cleaned up and swept my floors after and were professional. I will certainly call him again in the future!
