+ -1 moreIt was very good. They came right out and they did it. He needed a part; he got the part and got it done. He was in and out. I use them all time. I have used them for years. It's just that, whenever I call George, and I leave a message and he calls me right back. He has a very good customer service. He would get down here as soon as he can. Several years ago, I had my air conditioning out and my husband was out of town and it was like 95 degrees and it was a weekend. It was a heat wave and everybody was breaking and he just made it for me. He is just a great company. I recommend him to everybody. His prices are reasonable. I had known them for years. He never tries to tell you things you don't need. He tells you exactly the way it is. If you need it, he tells you. He is very pragmatic. He has never lied or over sold me. They have a great reputation. I have heard of others comments also.

+ -1 moreGeorge Conner decided which furnace and tonnage blower would work for our home, sun exposures and square footage. It was up to us to decide what efficiency we wanted to purchase. Once we did, he gave us an estimate and explained everything fully. We gave him the go-ahead to perform the work, and he called when the A/C, furnace and all components arrived. George Conner and his crew neatly and efficiently installed the new system. His is a perfectionist, a dying breed in this day and age. They had to retro-fit some of the ductwork to fit in with the new components, the work on that is spot-on, also. We've used Conner Comfort Systems on our prior home, also. We've always been completely satisfied with how they've treated us and with the quality of the work performed. This is a very fair company with an owner who cares about the job being done correctly.
Description of Work: George Conner and his crew installed a high efficiency multi-stage furnace and new air conditioning in our home. They removed our two existing central AC units and two furnaces and took our HVAC system down to one very efficient system. We completely appreciated their honesty with this, as they could've easily sold us 2 more furnaces and 2 more A/C units--just as the house had. Instead Mr. Conner educated us on today's technology--how it's used to heat and cool the home more efficiently and more comfortably. He answered all of our questions with patience and knowledge. They removed all old components safely and cleaned up the areas where these units were, and took us down to the one system. Mr. Conner zoned our home and installed dampers to deliver heat and a/c to areas of the home that want to be warmer or cooler than the rest of the home--areas over crawl spaces, etc. He fully explained all of this to us, as he also explained the speed of the fan on the furnace can be sped up or slowed down--depending on hard we'd like it to blow. Conner's happily returned to slow it down a notch to our liking, on the way out welcoming us to call if we'd like adjustments in the summer season, also. Conner's Comfort also installed a water heater for us. Ours was nearing the end of its lifespan so we'd had it handled while they were doing the HVAC installation. It was installed well and we're satisfied. Conner's Comfort also installed a PureAir system for air filtration on our furnace unit--which we're beyond satisfied with! We're happy with the Lennox products, yet most happy with Conner's Comfort Systems workmanship and professionalism. With no hesitation whatsoever we can recommend Conner's Comfort Systems.

+ -1 moreReceived estimate only. Did not use this contractor. He did not even bother to come to my house and evaluate the situation. He sent me a quote through the mail. Based on that, even though his quote was pretty good, I was not comfortable using this contractor. I was afraid there could be hidden costs that might have occurred once he came to my house. Estimated cost was $6,000.

+ -1 moreThe pilot light on our furnace was going off daily. We called a few companies for service and George was the only one able to come right out. He quickly addressed the problem (defective thermocouple), repaired the furnace and we had heat within 30 minutes of his arrival. He was knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Replaced thermocouple, cleaned pilot orifice, and vacuumed the burner section.

+ -1 moreGeorge Conner is great to work with. He provided a comprehensive quote on a timely basis. I got two other quotes that were higher for inferior systems from two other companies. The installation was completed as scheduled. He personally did the installation and was assisted by two other company employees who were also very professional. It was determined that I did not need new thermostats and Mr. Conner subtracted that cost from the bill. Overall, a great job by very professional people.
Description of Work: Furnished and installed two new furnaces, two humidifiers and two central air conditioning units. Also included removal and hauling of the old units.
