Workers were pleasant, neat, punctual, flexible, open to suggestions, knowledgeable of every aspect of the job. The job was finished in a very reasonable amount of time. Mr. Caspersen frequently visited the job to make sure that everything went smoothly, as it did.

10/26/2010 Purchased 2 Twin Double Hung Windows for bedrooms. 12/16/2010 Windows were installed. They were too narrow. Large gaps on each side of windows was claimed to be "normal" and needed for insulation and expansion requirements 3/4' quarter round molding was installed to hide the gaps. Was told this was a common practice. Molding was unfinished wood. Nail brads were not flush with the molding. Some were left sticking out (1/8") or more and others were just bent over. The trim molding inside was now too big so it was just "cut to fit". This left unpainted drywall exposed on all sides of the windows. I complained that I was not satisfied of the job and was assured that Caspersen Co. would do whatever was necessary to resolve my concerns. Jan. or Feb. 2011 Installer came to review the complaints and when told of the problems said he would "convey message to his boss and get back to me". Nothing happened until some time in July of 2011. The windows popped out of the frame and dropped down about 3/8" to 1/2" below the sill. I called the Owner of Caspersen Co. and told him he needed to come and see the latest complaint of mine. After viewing the condition he said "the wood 3/4" trim had been installed wrong and the windows did not pop out". He told me the windows were fastened in the center of each side and center of the top and bottom with 3" long screws and window couldn't pop out. A few days later one of their installers came out and agreed that in fact the window had popped out. There were only three screws holding the window in and they were at the two bottom corners and one at a top corner. The window could not be lifted up and placed on the sill as it was originally because it had expanded due to the summer heat. It was obvious that the window was not the correct height and was a tight fit (top to bottom) and only was able to be installed originally because the job was done in December. (It was cold outside, snowing etc.) I had to help the installer get the window "in place" then he secured it with nine (9) screws. Who Knows what will happen next summer if the temperature is as hot as it was this year. A couple days later a different installer came to fix the second bedroom window installation. That's another story. Do I need to say more? After the last attempt to fix things, there has not been a follow-up call from Caspersen Co. to see if I was satisfied. David and Judy Donel 330-322-6661

Great customer service. Finished quickly and looks wonderful.

They used a high quality, thicker siding. Even 11 years later, it still looks great! The siding has stayed in place and we haven't needed to make any repairs or replacements. They did leave some extra siding materials in case we needed to make any repairs, however that hasn't been necessary. They did just an excellent job! The crew was extremely professional!

Written quote given. Work started on time as the weather permitted. Workers only did as much as they could finish within the weather confines. Work area was kept as clean as possible. They finished when they said the would be done and the gutters were installed very quickly. The only problems we had was the numerous amount of cigarette butts from the workers and one cracked spacer block for a downspout. I'm very particular and the I am going to replace the spacer block.

Everything was exceptional. Would use them again & again. I'm telling others where I work.

A Caspersen did a great job. I was impressed with Eric's knowledge when he came out to do the estimate - he pointed out a number of factors we needed to consider for our window installation. The installation itself went just as planned - the windows were delivered and installed about 3 weeks after the order was placed. The installation looks great - they did a wonderful, professional job. Overall, I'm extremely pleased, and I would use A Caspersen again.

He came to the house for 1-1 1/2 hour and before he would give us an estimate he wanted us to come to his showroom, so we had to set up a second appointment. We had a four year old that was not very patient, but we went to his showroom and were given another 2 1/2-3 hour sales pitch. He is very overpriced. He also said that he could not guarantee he could take the windows out and put my blinds back up. I had paid $1,000 for my blinds and I wasn't going to have someone take windows out and not put windows in that couldn't use the same blinds. He wasted a whole lot of our time. We went with another company. He did answer our questions. He did come on time and was at his showroom when he said that he would be.

Eric, Tony, and everyone at A. Caspersen were a real pleasure to work with. Our house looks fabulous now and we have already received so many compliments. I don't hesitate to recommend them for any project. A+

The salesman was very thorough in determining what I wanted, giving me many options and price levels, and describing what the finished project would look like. The workman were pleasant and skilled, and made sure that their work was what I wanted, and that I was pleased with the result. When the windows were installed, a messy process for them, they cleaned up all the mess beautifully. I just had to rehang my curtains. The exterior work site was cleaned up every evening, and the men were very careful with my roses. I am very happy with the quality and beauty of the finished result, and have received many compliments on the finished project. My home is much quieter, and warmer. I would use this company again--in fact they are probably the first people I would call for an estimate.
