Description of Work: Electricity to part of our house was coming on and going off randomly, they tightened everything up, replaced a dimmer they found to be incompatible with a fixture we have, and then found the problem with the connections outside for the power coming into the house. They then replaced the connections outside the house. All has been working great since. They also replace a GFI plug inside and a light sensor on an outside light.

+ -1 moreCaleb arrived on time and assessed the work requested. He sent a quote about a week later. The work was completed by 2 of his employees. He and they arrived on time on the date we selected. He walked through the plan with them and me to make sure we agreed and understood the proposed work. As one of the "home runs" was dedicated to a back-up sump, he called the plumber to be sure the plan was appropriate. Rich and Ryan (I hope I have the correct names here) were professional and efficient. After the work was completed, we reviewed the completed product. They left the work area neat and clean and asked if I was satisfied with their work and clean-up. Overall, I was very satisfied.
Description of Work: Added 2 "home run" outlets, ie, wired from the main circuit box to newly set up boxes in the basement. Replaced a light switch, replaced a GFI, added an outlet to increase the number outlets along a basement wall.

+ -1 moreThere are only two electricians in this firm and they are both licensed electricians so when you call them you don't get an apprentice you get a real electrician. I have used them several times especially when I have been on vacation and they always show up when promised, fix the problem at a reasonable price.
Description of Work: I have a commercial building and the power had been off for some time when I purchased it. The service needed to be properly grounded and I called C & R Precision Electrical and he showed up when promised, performed the work under my direct supervision and completed it in a timely fashion. They also rewired my house after a house fire in 2005 under contract with the insurance company and did a fine job. I have owned other commercial buildings and have done my own electrical work with permit and so know the trade fairly well and his work is quality work. He is also very reasonably priced in comparison to other electricians.

+ -1 moreGetting the initial scheduling of the job had a couple of confusing moments (I was also having the ceilings replaced in my upstairs), but the quality of the final work more than made up for it. Not only was the job done extremely neatly and professionally (passed inspection with no problem), but Rich also treated my home as if it were his own. Throughout the job, he did not hesitate to consult me whenever there was a question or situation that could not be addressed as originally planned. He explained what he had done, what was left to do, and cleaned up each day; was polite and professional at all times; and never had a moment of downtime. A most ethical and hardworking young man. It is not unusual to find a company who wants to be known as the "best". However, it IS unusual to find a company that actually lives up to that name. I will be using C&R in the future for additional electrical work, and would highly recommend them to anyone in Lorain County or elsewhere. Thanks for the great work guys - and thank you for being a team I can put my trust in!
Description of Work: C&R totally rewired the upstairs of my home. They ran two new circuits from the baseent; capped off old knob-and-tube; ran new romex, and installed hard-wired smoke alarms. They also added a couple of additional outlets in one of the bedrooms.
