Phil and his guys are the best. This is the 3rd time I have hired phil and the baker group ALWAYS gets it done perfect.

We’ve had Phil and The Baker Group do several projects in our homes. The most recent was some lockers for our mud room. Phil does a great job of listening to customers and building a project to their specifications. He always uses the best materials and his paint/stain work is top notch! They are on time and always leave a clean work environment. I would highly recommend The Baker Group to anyone looking for quality custom woodworking!

We are pleased to highly recommend The Baker Group Remodeling for home renovations. Phil Baker recently finished a complete renovation of our master bathroom. His high-quality work included removing a wall and gutting everything from the flooring, lighting, shower, tub, cabinets and doors. Despite the size, scope and occasional need to rethink design elements they completed the work as efficiently as possible and on schedule. Phil provided experienced advice and service. The cabinetry he built is solid, high quality work. When installing the new floor they took the time to lay it out in a cohesive pattern that flows with the room. The new shower is beautiful beyond our expectations, open, airy and a focal point of the room. And when we hit a glitch in the new countertops, Phil worked with the stone vendor to meet our needs without costing us additional money. Phil and Benito provided high quality work, were respectful and responsive to our questions and needs. We certainly intend to use the Baker Group for future updates to our home.

The Baker team is the best. They are professional, timely, and pay attention to even the smallest details. My OCD is rejoicing! After years of challenging experiences with other contractors, Phil and his team offer a refreshing change. My go-to guys...forever.

Phil did an amazing job!!!! While removing the countertop, he was able to save the existing backsplash, which saved us a lot of money! We were incredibly pleased with the quality of his work and would highly recommend him for any remodeling job!!!

Working with Phil was a great experience. From design to completion he was honest, upfront, and trustworthy. They were very responsive to our needs. They even did things that were not part of the original estimate. Mr Baker made us a beautiful vanity. We liked them so much, they are going to do our other bathroom.

Phil and his team remodeled the kids bathroom. They were on time every day, cleaned up everyday and were very polite. The bathroom looks amazing. I plan on using them again for my master bath remodel.

Phil understood the style I wanted and suggested options for materials (unlike the standard kitchen folks who kept pushing the same cabinets everyone buys). He stepped through all the decisions about the details with me, using his computer program to show the differences between the choices. His suggestions were on-point based on the style. The cabinets are top-quality and absolutely beautiful. When one cabinet needed to be adjusted (a tricky appliance fit) he was very solution-oriented and quickly delivered the replacement. I would work with him again.

When starting the search for a contractor, we obviously wanted someone who would be able to make our vision come to life but also we wanted to hire someone we could trust. Having people in our home for weeks made us nervous but after meeting with Phil multiple times we immediately felt really comfortable with hiring him to do the job. His guys were tidy and consistent everyday. They were flexible with last minute changes and made adjustments when requested with no issues. We are so happy with how our bathroom turned out! I definitely will be hiring Phil and his team again to do our next bathroom project :)

We had a fantastic experience working with the Baker Group on our kitchen and laundry room remodel project. The results are amazing and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the custom cabinetry, how well planned the space is now, and the attention to details to make our kitchen functional and beautiful. In addition to our kitchen, we had the Baker Group remodel our laundry room with matching cabinetry, bench and lockers, and flooring. They also replaced our vanity in our first floor bathroom, and installed various light fixtures throughout the house. Above all else, we were very happy with the level of attention, responsiveness, and communication throughout the entire process. No project goes entirely flawlessly, and we had some major drama in dealing with the installation of our appliances from Best Buy. However, Phil Baker and the Baker Group put in extra time and effort to respond to multiple issues that arose from poor execution from Best Buy so that in the end our kitchen is what we wanted. We can't thank Phil enough for the flexibility and responsiveness to these issues. His team's level of professionalism and dedication to excellent customer service was remarkable. We couldn't be happier with the end results.

We are happy with every phase of working with Phil Baker. He helped us design what we were looking for and completed the work on time. The final product looks fantastic and we would hire him again without question. The crew were all friendly and hard working. We had a bit of water damage to some of the new cabinet faces and Phil came up with a fix pretty quickly - very happy with their work.

We had a wall in our basement with a large crack and a bad bow in it. The Baker Group removed drywall, studs and drop ceiling, installed beams painted the walls and beams cleaned up and removed all trash. This is the third project in the last 2 years The Baker Group has done for us and we could not be more pleased with them or their work. We already are planning another project for them to do for us.

We hired Phil Baker after reviewing his work from previous clients and from recommendations from a friend. From the beginning until end Phil poor a ton of energy into his work spending many hours with my wife planning and coordinating a complete kitchen demolition. After working out the many details until my wife was happy he custom manufactured all his cabinets off site in his own shop so there was very little mess. These cabinets were perfect and seamless. Rugged and durable yet beautiful. He finished the job which included back splash, sink, lighting, plumbing drywall with finish and painting in an efficient and timely manner. His craftsmanship is second to none and we couldn't be more pleased. In a similar fashion, he manufactured a large entertainment center for our basement spanning over 14 feet which included bookshelves and base cabinets. Once again, remarkable craftsmanship! We are planning more work and remodeling this winter with Phil being our guy.

The Baker Group installed a new exterior door, that required changing the entire foot print of the wall, including moving a header. They did a wonderful job ensuring that everything went smooth, and were very helpful in making sure everything was ordered correctly and installed to the exact specifications.

Mike and Benito did an excellent job in moving laundry to first floor from basement. Plumbing, drywall work, electrical were all involved in this job, and they were very courteous, efficient and friendly in completing this in two days. They returned a few weeks later, as we decided to add overhead lighting in this room. This was completed in one day and looks awesome! These guys do excellent work, and they clean up daily after completing work for said day. We are extremely happy with The Baker Group & have hired them for another basement project. Love these guys!

The Baker Group is fantastic! They were professional from the day we met them and they completed the work in a timely and detailed manner. They took special care and made sure everything was to our liking! Phil and Mike and their whole team are very talented craftsmen and we have already recommended their company to our friends and neighbors.

Baker Group team has been easy to work with, excellent skills for job, neat, courteous, trustworthy in our home. Carefully protected surfaces that were not being changed. Painted cabinetry (beautiful finish), replaced hinges and interior slides, built some new cabinetry, made new doors for laundry cabinets. I would definitely recommend them.

Outstanding from start to finish. We received 3 bids on a kitchen remodel. From the start, Phil Baker was the most responsive, his quote came through in our price range, and he exhibited a flexibility to work with us to enhance the features that were most important to us and help us save money in other areas. Phil set expectations about cost, quality, and time-frame and met or exceeded all those expectations. To briefly summarize the job, it included: demo, complete reconfiguration of our original floor plan, new tile floors, custom cabinetry (made by Phil), sink, hot water faucet (for tea, etc), backsplash with some custom design, complete re-texturizing of the ceiling, new lights (cans, pendants, and awesome undercabinet lighting), new countertops, installation of some applicances (except refrigerator). In addition, the Baker Group removed our old soffits because we wanted floor to ceiling cabinetry, and in so doing, had to reroute ducts, wiring, waterlines, and sewage pipes. They installed a vented fan over the stove, which we had inexplicably never had before (and routinely set off smoke alarms when cooking). The kitchen cabinets had crown molding and as the job was in full swing we asked Phil if they could install new baseboards throughout the entire downstairs of the house and they were able to accommodate us, despite the fact that they had other jobs in the queue. They made custom moldings for floor transitions, and a custom vent hood that blended with our cabinetry. New cabinets and floor in laundry room. Work quality and attention to detail by his team - Benito and Mike - were top-notch, as was Phil's cabinetry design and construction. These guys know what they're doing, they can do virtually anything, and are efficient, trustworthy, and friendly. We asked for several additional items during the course of this job - including the previously mentioned baseboard work - and it was never an issue. In our experience, Phil is a straight shooter and he delivers on his promises. Would absolutely hire again (and actually did for another, smaller job in a couple weeks).

The Baker Group was very professional, reliability and dependable. Everything they said they would do, they accomplished. The materials were high quality and Phil custom makes the cabinets. They don't subcontract the work, you meet the crew and they are the ones that do the work. We would highly recommend Baker Group, in fact, we plan on having them do some other remodeling soon.

We had been contemplating a master bath remodel for several years and after seeing the amazing kitchen renovation The Baker Group did for our daughter and son-in-law, we knew what company to turn to. The Baker Group was prompt, courteous, professional, and trustworthy. Mike and Benito enlarged our shower and installed a free-standing tub. They re-tiled the entire bathroom area. Mike is an expert tiler. Phil builds custom cabinetry and is meticulous about his work. He designed and built us a double sink and vanity, giving us more use out of the space than we previously had. I highly recommend The Baker Group. Their work ethic and ability to satisfy the customer are stellar.

We had Phil build us custom built-ins in both our office and family room as well as redo our fireplace. We cannot sing his praises enough and tell everyone we know to hire him! The quality of his work and the professionalism he and his team showed left us very pleased with the project. We had the work complete about 1 week before Christmas and were so impressed with how clean Phil and his partner were. We've had other major projects done in our home before and no one has been as clean as Phil! We also appreciated Phil's straightforwardness and follow through. He didn't hesitate to share his opinion on some of the design details we were considering and we are so happy we listened to him because we love how the built-ins have totally elevated the look and function of our home. We do plan to hire them again for our bathroom remodel.
