They were the highest estimate of the quotes we got. Mr. Russell convinced us we needed to beware of the lower estimates, as sometimes 'you get what you pay for'. Cleanup would be to the extent that we wouldn't even know they had been there. All nails, roofing scraps, etc. would be picked up and removed. Anyway, after they were done, I was left cleaning out gutters, flower beds, and garden pond. In about 3-4 months, a leak developed in the garage where it was attached to house. After numerous calls, and leaving messages, I finally was able to talk with him. He came out when he said he would, climbed onto roof and told me they probably had screwed up the flashing. He would be back at end of week with a bundle of shingles, and fix the problem. Two weeks later still a no show, I proceeded to call him again, never reaching him. I left messages, which he never returned. Finally, his wife answered the phone on one of my many calls, and told me she would give him my message. I told her this was my problem, trying to contact him. She informed me that this didn't sound like Steve, and he was always prompt in returning calls. Well, month later, still no show and no contact , I finally climbed unto roof and did all the work myself. Based on my experience I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Roof was damaged during storm. Contacted Steve Russell Construction and Mr.Russell visited to give an estimate. His knowledge was such that he was able to talk to and co-ordinate the job with a representative of my home owners insurance. Mr. Russell`s work crew did an excellent job. Removed the old roofing, made repairs on roof if needed and placed all new. The crew was very good at clean-up and the job looked extremely good. Would very much recommend Steve Russell Construction to anyone.

Three months after he started working here, my house started cracking. Two of their men broke into my upstairs three different days and rented some p*** videos through the satellite; my comforter was rumpled and there was a random flyswatter on the floor. Ultimately, this incurred a charge on my DISH Network. They took 3 out of my 4 support beams out of my downstairs. 5 years later, my doors became slanted, my drywall started to crack, and all sorts of problems started appearing. I brought in a structional engineering company to look at the damage. Garage is going to the right, house is going to the left, and the porch is going forward. They also redirected the water every which way, which is making the house rotate clockwise. I took him to court, but I had to drop the case because he had over a half million dollars in IRS tax liens - he hasn't paid his taxes since 1979! I'm out attorney fees, my house is cracking and twisting, and I'm out over $100,000. I would not recommend him to anyone!
