Technician came initially and took the measure for the window that needs to be replaced. He came back in 3 weeks as promised to replace the window at the master bath. He was thorough professional and did exactly what needs to be done.

First contact with the office let me know I was dealing with the right business. I had no clue how to measure for windows, but was asked to send pictures of the windows needing replaced. Prompt replies to my many questions. Scheduled an appointment to have my windows measured by a professional. The gentleman that measured the windows helped me identify the style of window I wanted for my home. He was able to explain the options plus the price difference. Answered questions to my satisfaction and when he left was excited for the windows to be ready so that they could be installed. Around 2-1/2 weeks my custom windows were delivered and an installation appointment set up. The installers were prompt and professional. They went right to work and installed the windows quickly. Cleaned the windows after installed and took away all the derbies from the former windows. They treated me and my home with respect which I appreciated. The price and service was top notch. The evening after the windows were installed I was out shopping and had received a voice message from the owner of the company to thank me for selecting Zen Windows and to call him if I had any issues or questions. I was impressed that he would take the time to follow-up to guarantee my satisfaction. The following day I received an email and phone from the office contact to verify everything went as expected. It was a pleasure doing business with a company that focuses on delighting the customer. From the initial contact with the office that worked to ensure my needs were being meant to the workers in the field performing the job it was a smooth transaction. I would recommend Zen Windows. In the future they are at the top if my list for any window needs.

I needed to replace a leaky bedroom window. I just gave them the approximate size and they provided a quote. It was very simple. Their quote was lower than 3 other quotes I received. Once I decided to purchase the window, someone came to get the exact measurement. It took about 5 weeks to make the window and check the quality. I had some trouble scheduling the installation but they took care of it and Dan stood by their customer guarantee. Customer service is excellent. They keep you up to date every step along the way. You can tell that they definitely put the customer first. The window looks great and appears to be good quality. I will definitely use Zen next time I need a window.

Zen Windows sent two installers who were professional and courteous. They replaced the two windows in about four hours, and cleaned up afterwards. They responded promptly to my communications via Angie's List. I am very happy with the service I received and would use them again in the future.

Called Zen windows and received estimate immediately (they use Google(?) technology to view your home remotely), which I really appreciated. NO HARD SALES-just the facts, price and information were provided. No salesman visited my home, but written estimate was e-mailed to me the same day, along with product information. I received hard copies of same in the mail a few days later. A home visit to measure all windows and doors was then scheduled and done very quickly, materials were ordered right away. Took approximately 6 weeks for materials to come in and installation was scheduled. Entire job was finished in one day utilizing a 4 man crew. They took very good care of my home, the installation was perfect and everything went smoothly. Installation and trim was perfect. Love the windows but really like the sliding glass door. One of the windows had a "stress fracture" in it and was reordered the same day. Project manager, John, came to my home to reinstall new sash as soon as it came in, about 6 weeks later, no additional cost to me was incurred. The only thing I would improve is the quality of the locks on the windows, they seem like they would be easily broken. This could be because of the product I ordered-I went "mid-range" price. Otherwise I would give the window and door quality an A+ grade. Service and installation also an A+.

Bruce and Russ were nice, professional, punctual and did a great job cleaning up after and taking all debris. Very nice gentlemen and Carlie was great to plan the project with and extremely responsive. Very happy with the workmanship and the windows were exactly as ordered. Will use this company again for the remaining windows in the house.

Dealing with ZEN WINDOWS was a wonderful experience. No salesman, no fuss, and no mess. Although Dan Wolt and his team were always available by phone, we did most of our communicating via e-mail. I received a great deal in both price and quality. A day or so after I first contacted this company, Bruce arrived to measure the Windows and also brought a sample of the windows to be installed. He said it would be about two weeks to installation and it was. I had contacted another highly rated company about this project, but they were more expensive and the time to installation was eight to twelve weeks. On installation day, Bruce and Russ showed up on time and immediately went to work. They worked in such a way that I did not have to worry about any of my three cats escaping. They cleaned up as they went using their own vacuum cleaner. Outside, they did a terrific job cleaning up--even getting down on their hands and knees and using a magnet to assure there were no nails or other harmful debris left behind. Everything was hauled away in their trucks and the only thing left behind were the new, airtight, terrific-looking Windows! I cannot say enough good about working with ZEN Windows and highly recommend them to anyone needing this type product and service.

They were excellent! The windows came on time they were put in immediately and the installers were professional and neat. It was an easy experience buying windows online and one which I had never used before so obviously I was quite nervous. Dan put me at ease immediately and the experience was amazing. He did not ask for one dime until I was completely satisfied and happy with my windows. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to have a pleasant experience and not have to spend hardly any time on buying them. I havent got that much available time and when i do shopping for windows isn't something I want to spend my free time on. The ease and speed which this was accomplished was great! Thanks Dan!

If you need windows replaced, don't hesitate to call Zen Windows! Don't even look at other providers; don't waste your time! The process was so simple and we didn't have to deal with pushy salespeople or even leave our home to pick the windows we wanted. 5 minutes after hanging up on our initial call Dan had a quote and product brochures for me in my email inbox. I was blown away by the quality and affordability that I didn't think I was going to be able to afford after looking at competitors sites and stores. We've had our windows in for one winter and this past summer now and can really tell the difference they have made for our home comfort but also it beauty and functionality. We can't wait to replace the rest of the windows, and we are definitely without hesitation going with Zen Windows!

Working with Zen Windows was a terrific experience from the initial contact through the final install and beyond. Dealing with Daniel Wolt was a pleasure. He was always responsive and ready to answer any questions. This company was very prompt in their work and very professional. Even after all of the work was done, we had a couple of minor service issues which they went above and beyond in remedying.

Painless estimate process with reasonable prices. Installation took approximately a day longer than expected, but this was primarily due to challenges encountered (we have 3 leaded transom windows which required extra caution). Beautiful job of installation & the team left both the inside & outside spotless. Product appears to be of high quality. Frequent contact from company's representative Carlie to make certain we were happy throughout the install. Contact from company president Dan upon completion to confirm we were satisfied. Everything felt smooth & professional.

The crew of two arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They replaced all of our windows and took care in installing them professionally. It was great to know that they had years of experience in installing windows. Dan, the owner, was in contact with us through the whole process. He came at the end of the project to see that it was to our satisfaction. We have now sold our home and I needed a copy of the warranty, since I had misplaced ours. Dan called me back personally to get me what I needed for the sale of our home. He told me to give the new home owners his personal contact information if they EVER have a problem even 15 years from now. His philosophy on the windows is once they are installed they should always function properly. I would highly recommend them and I will be using them in the future.

It was excellent from the getgo. We interviewed three other installers, and had to deal with the salesman coming to our home and giving us the "shpiel" but Dan Wolt used Google and simply called me with information and emailed me the estimate. Easiest one ever and he never said and negative comments about competitors (unlike the three that came to my home). Bruce came out, measured the windows exactly, ordered them and they were here on the appointed day. Very clean crew...I figured on a lot of cleanup after, but there was none! My windows and sliding glass patio door are clear, wonderful and easy to see through. In addition, with the slightly tinted low-e glass, I can stand right next to the windows on a 95 degree day and the heat does not radiate to me. I am looking forward to seeing a change in my utility bills. Thank you Dan!!!

Initially when I called them, I left a voicemail and they called me back within an hour. They didn’t even have to come out. He was able to do everything over the phone with a verbal estimate and it lasted for only about five minutes. It went surprisingly well and their price was in line with the other estimated I had received. They provided us with the estimate long before we were ready to make a decision and we didn’t feel pressured. When we agreed to the estimate, they sent someone out to measure the windows. We have signed a contract for them to complete the work and the windows are expected to be in within a week or two.

The pricing was really good; that's why we went with them. They did a great job. They showed up when they said they would. They did the work they said they were going to do in the time they said they would have it done.

Excellent overall experience with Zen Windows. We as consumers need to support the business models that we want to see more often. I have always hated the high pressure salesman at your kitchen table, up-selling your project, and refusing to leave. Zen completely does away with that model. Zen provides an excellent service at a reasonable price without any hassle, pressure, or false / overstated claims. Getting a quote over the internet was simple and quick. After the initial inquiry, Dan Wolt called within 24 hours for more details and had the quote out to us just as fast. No salesman! Installation was quick and easy. Even with the torrential rains this spring, the installers were able to get our job done in a timely manner. The install was professional and no mess was left behind. No payment was required until the job was completely done and we were satisfied. We will definitely be using Zen in the future for our replacement needs.

There was no money down, which was great. They emailed me the quote and had a guy come out and measure. They called back when they were ready. There was no money tied up and I really appreciated that. I appreciated their emails. They put in the windows, it went really well, and we are happy. The price was good and I would use them again.

The procedure was seamless. All correspondence with the company owner was through email or phone...no high pressure, no bait and switch. All very nicely handled. Windows were ordered and installed within 6 weeks and this was over the Christmas Holidays!! Other companies quoted me 8-12 weeks and one even wrote me a letter saying they were so busy that their installers were going to be delayed at least three additional weeks! The installers, Bruce and Russell, were excellent. Courteous, professional and concerned that everything was the way I wanted it. Their clean-up was outstanding! Make sure you ask for them when you talk to Dan. I tried for many months to get these windows done and only wish that I had called Dan at Zen Windows first...My wife and I would have been warm and cosy a lot sooner. And by the way Zen Window's price was much lower than other companies' prices. I highly recommend Zen Window.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal for one window replacement for $349. (I could have purchased up to 8, but only actually needed one window in the rear of the house.) I cannot say enough good about this company. The first call to schedule my window was answered by Dan, the owner himself, who was professional and casual all at the same time. Throughout the process, he promptly answered phone calls and emails. I thought at times he must be super-human to be so accessible, but he really just cared about his customers. The installers were right on time, and did a great job installing the window. They put down a long cover to protect the carpet going up the stairs, and were going to put down more to protect clear from the stairs to the bedroom, but I told them it wasn't necessary, as I was going to clean the carpet anyway. They were friendly, efficient, and left no mess or sign they were here except to put my mini-blinds back up for me - without being asked. I thought I had a problem later that day with the window leaking air, and sent an email to Dan, who called me within minutes. He was going to do whatever it took to handle the problem, but it turned out that the problem was actually me - I had done something to keep the window from closing the last fraction of an inch, which was letting in the air. So all was well, we could all enjoy the Holidays, and I have a nice new window. I would use this company again without even bothering with other quotes, because I felt like more than a customer. Dan even commented at one point that he considers his customers family. How rare and nice to find a company like this.

This is the 2nd time I've used this company and again was EXTREMELY pleased with their product, professionalism and GREAT customer service. Dan, the owner is an exception guy to work with and goes out of his way to make each and every customer feel like your his only one! I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who is looking to replace or purchase new windows. All the employees are very professional and have a great attitude. The windows are high quality and backed by one of the best guarantees around. I Definitely give Dan and his company a 10!! Great job!!

We had obtained estimates from three other companies on Angie's List and had nearly made our choice (everyone seemed to have pretty similar products, except for price), but on a whim,decided to call Daniel Wolt at Zen Windows first. His estimate was higher, so we were going to go with our first choice. Then Mr. Wolt surprised us. He remembered our mentioning that we had just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and said he would match the other company's estimate as a "gift." Since his windows include low-e and have full instead of half screens, we accepted. About three weeks later, we got a call that our new windows were ready, so we scheduled for the next morning at 7:00am. Because our daughter works at night, her bedroom windows were the first replaced, allowing her to go to sleep. The crew was mindful to warn us prior to beginning on the downstairs bathroom (where the two house-cats had been imprisoned to prevent their escape through open windows). The men did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves, both in and outside our home! The whole job was finished before 5:00pm. The windows look great! Our neighbors have commented on the improvement. There is a reason I waited to write this review. Have you ever bought something that you just loved... until you discovered it wasn't as good as it seemed? How about a great pair of shoes... that gave you blisters? Or a gorgeous dress... that fell apart the first time it went to the cleaners? Or a fantastic new car... that started blowing every system as soon as the warranty expired? When our windows were installed, the weather was still variable. It seemed like a good idea, considering the large investment, to make sure there were no problems and, if there were, to find out if we would still get good service. Three weeks ago, my husband noticed our living room window had a one and one half inch gap along one side of its top edge, plus, the sealing putty on one of our bedroom windows was cracked all along the top. He called Mr. Wolt to tell him about the problems. Mr. Wolt said a crew would be in our area in a couple of weeks and someone would make arrangements with us to take care of it. Yesterday they called to ask if today was convenient, then called today at 1:00pm to say they would be here within a half hour. At 1:25pm, there was a knock on the door and the two gentlemen had the windows repaired in under ten minutes. Great service, again!

Although no services were provided by Zen Windows, I greatly appreciated Dan returning my call and making the recommendation. The GlassMan came and provided the estimate and the window is now on order.
