I am so very pleased with the quality and service of Zen Windows! They installed my windows today and I am thrilled with them. Ordering was extremely easy and the owner's responses to my emails were almost immediate. Within minutes he gave me a price per window, and based on that price, all I had to do was tell him how many I could afford and upon receipt of the final quote (another whole 5 minutes) I accepted it and waited until the windows arrived. Meanwhile, I asked if two more windows could be added to my order and this was done seamlessly. This company is efficient! The only visits to my house were by Bruce for measuring. He was also very responsive. The 3 gentlemen who installed the windows were efficient, courteous and professional. Their work was thorough, one of them showed me how the windows tilt, and they removed all windows and cleaned up debris. Zen is outstanding in it's responsiveness, service and quality. I know nothing about windows but their online videos explained details and helped me decide what was best for me. So, so easy! And you don't pay until after the installation! That's integrity. I will certainly use and recommend Zen Windows in the future. No sales person in my home was probably the clincher for my purchase. I did my own research and I like that. I am one happy customer!

Job took two 8-hour work days. The installers were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and skilled at what they do. The Owner of Zen Windows, Dan Wolt, went above and beyond to make sure I was completely comfortable and happy. He provided an instant, no hassle job quote which was very competitive, and stayed in touch via email through the whole process..The windows are very nice looking and well made, far better than what they replaced and among the better vinyl windows on the market. I would recommend Zen to anyone looking to buy higher end vinyl replacement windows at a fair price.

My Zen Experience: A Total Waste of My Time & Energy The owner was quite responsive and gave us a quote for 26 windows within 5 minutes. We spoke on the phone and he seemed honest and trustworthy during our initial conversations. After the installer left my house, the quote needed to change (we decided to remove three windows from our project). The next day, I received an email from the owner. Here is an excerpt from his email: " I respectfully decline to bid on your project". What a waste of time! **UPDATE/RESPONSE 7/7/2016** The "proud" owner of Zen Windows had this response to my review: "With that said, we also have the right to not enter into a relationship with a client that does not uphold values that we consider to be mutually beneficial. ". At this point, you have to ask yourself what values his potential client didn't uphold. Was it honesty? Was it integrity? Please Mr. Zen, explain to us the values I didn't uphold. YOU promised to honor your original quote while being fully aware I needed a lot of tempered glass (in 9 windows to be exact). A couple of weeks later, you seemed to acquire selective amnesia and were caught of guard by me quoting your words nearly verbatim. So now is your chance to let everyone know exactly how honest you really are Mr. "Man of Integrity and Superior Honesty". Please provide me with your written consent to post an audio recording of our conversation and we'll let your potential clients hear for themselves your (and my) exact words. Then you can let everyone know which specific "values" you do not consider "mutually beneficial" with respect to our conversation.

Zen is installing quality windows manufactured by Sun-Lite. This company has been in the window manufacturing business for quite some time and an on-line review of the various replacement window forums and review sites highly recommends them. Their warranty reflects their quality standards and I can further attest to this fact after witnessing their detail of construction. After viewing several You Tube video's of their window construction methods and materials, along with their relationship with Zen as a recommended distributor, I checked out the various Better Business Bureau ratings of Zen's multiple business locations. I was pleasantly surprised to find each and every one of these locations rated @ an "A" of "A+". The comments on Angie's list verified the positive reviews of Zen's business practices. A visit to zenwindows.com was most informative. Dan Wolfe, the President and founder of Zen, returned my initial inquiry in a very timely fashion and provided me with a quotation very promptly after I had answered the basic questions provided me. He sent his installation foreman to my home ( several hours away ) within a short period of time to verify measurements and answer my questions. Zen uses no "high pressure" salesmen. They realize that your home is exactly that, it's your "castle" and they have respect for that fact. The "clincher" in my decision making process was the fact that they Do Not Request A Single Dime Of Your Money until the job is completed to YOUR satisfaction !! The installation foreman, Bruce, has been a window installer for many years and was very professional. I have been a tradesman for over 40 years, am very familiar with contractor's practices and I have never witnessed anyone that paid as much attention to installation details as this gentleman !! Mr. Wolfe promised me a "pleasant experience". He delivered true to his word. My expectations were high. He exceeded them . The job was performed promptly, to perfection and his crew returned my homes interior and exterior cleaner than when they arrived. My neighbors have paid several positive comments. I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend them without hesitation !!

Very well. No issues at all. Everyone in Zen was polite, helpful and professional. This was a very good experience. I recommend Zen.

I had four attic windows with significant issues that needed to be replaced. 3 had dry rot in the framing and the other one had damage from squirrels and birds trying to dig and peck through the sill. i had three companies out from Angie's List and only one gave me a reasonable bid on the work. The biggest concern was that our 1935 house had settled and none of the windows were still "squared." I only wanted to put in replacement windows and did not want full window re-builds. One of my friends had work done by Zen Windows and said it was a very good experience. When I checked them out they had good reviews from Angie's List and other reviewers. The process was so simple and easy, it was shocking. I called and spoke with Daniel who answered my questions about the process. Most of the details including the quote were handled on the computer. The quote was far better than what i had received from others and the window delivery was less than 3 weeks. Then Bruce came out to do exact measuring. No lengthy sales pitches or pressure. Carly, the customer service liaison, was right on top of everything from the order, to the expected delivery date, to the installation date, and the followup to see if I was satisfied with the install. Bruce came out with a fellow worker and did a great job dealing with the site issues and getting the installed windows "squared up" so they worked properly. They were very neat and clean and vacuumed up all of the debris before leaving. They also added a piece of wood to my bird pecked window sill to make it look better without my even asking them to do it. Nice touch and much appreciated! The windows are well constructed, triple-paned, energy efficient windows that work easily, just as advertised. I would highly recommend Zen windows. A great product, from great people, who give great service and make getting new window replacements easy.

Workers arrived on time. They work very quickly but do a fantastic job. The workers set up these plastic barriers they work under to protect your furniture etc. The windows themselves are completely fantastic. We got sliders and had no idea they would open both directions and that the screen would easily move to either side. This allows for the windows to be cleaned much easier than other models. House looks totally different with new windows!

Great. The estimate process is great. You will understand if you have more than one from ppl that come to your house. WOW. I really didnt think sales ppl could try high pressure sales in the year 2015, but they do. I almost had to throew one guy out! NOT ZEN! No sales Person. Just an email estimate. They honor the estimate to the penny. If you OK the estimate, then someone will come to the house for measurements, thats it. When the windows come in 3 weeks later, after appt made, install is fast. Done in one day. Small mix up with one window by way of size but taken care of promptly. Installers were clean and professional. Small ding in drywall but lets face it people, this is construction!!!!!!!!!! It will happen from time to time. I have read so many of the bad review about these guys (not many), and they all seem to be from ppl that dont understand this is construction in the house. Cleaned up, no glass left laying around. Great experience. Great price. GREAT way to do business.

From the quick estimate to the within the hour or two responses (and even a quick estimate recalculation when I accidentally miscounted how many windows we had), Zen was professional and easy to work with from day one. Everyone from Dan to Carlie to Bruce was friendly, flexible, and focused on one thing...that you as the customer were taken care of and happy with the quality of the product and the installation. Bruce and his partner were honest with timelines and did not just 'finish up' or rush so they could move on to the next job. When they finished, everything was as clean as when they came. I was very impressed with Zen as a provider. We started our window searching process by inviting an ImproveIt! representative over to our house for a consultation. I felt like the representative knew that at that time we hadn't done our homework yet and so they quoted out a price for over $5000 to install the windows. After looking into it I felt the price was very high and so I looked elsewhere. Zen was a company that we had decided to look at because of their ratings on Angie's List. I'm very glad that we did. Carlie in the main office did an excellent job of working with us throughout the extended process. Bruce, the individual who came out and installed the windows, was also very professional. I felt like throughout the process they had my interests in mind. For example, when Bruce installed the custom-made windows, he noticed that one sash appeared to be cut slightly off. Although I as the homeowner never would have seen this probably, he pointed it out to me and ordered a new sash which he installed once it came in. Our windows look great. I'd certainly recommend Zen to others in our area.

We received presentations and estimates from several different window companies. After learning about Zen windows from Angie's list, we requested a quote which they provided very quickly. Rather than arrange and wait for someone to come to the house, we viewed the presentation about their products online. After a couple weeks comparing product quality and cost from various companies, we decided that Zen windows was the correct choice. We called Carlie to confirm we wanted to go with their company; Bruce came out to measure the windows in less than a week, and the windows came in for installation in just a few weeks. I think Zen was superior to everyone else in cost, quality, and schedule, and customer service during especially installation was great. Curb appeal of our house is much better as the windows look great both inside and out.

Great product, and excellent company to work with! Very professional and knowledgeable. Carlie in the office kept me appraised throughout the process and was very helpful. Bruce and Russ did an outstanding job in the installation of the windows. And the window quality is great. I highly recommend them. I have ordered windows from other companies in the past and their processes were exhausting, from dealing with the salesmen to the companys nickel-and-diming me for every aspect of the installation. Zen Windows has a streamlined process, the best prices you will find, good quality, and the windows were installed a week after they were ordered.

After researching window manufacturers and installers, I decided to go with Zen Windows. I compared roughly five local window installation companies and Zen provided the best value, hands down. The windows were ready sooner than expected and the installers were very friendly and professional. Zen also was very thorough throughout the process regrading communication and follow up. I can't wait to get the rest of my windows replaced and I will certainly be using Zen Windows.

I cannot say enough of the wonderful service and quality of the product. Bruce and his nice helper were very professional yet made me feel real comfortable with the process. I had three very large windows to be installed and one standard size. Bruce was able to schedule my install on a warm winter day. Considering when the old windows were removed my house was wide open. It could not of gone better. I want to thank Carlie for helping decide what kind of windows I needed and wanted .All contact was quick and any questions I had were answered. The quote was strait forward and listed each windows size and price. There was no high pressure sale when I wanted to do half the windows now and the rest later. The windows are beautiful and of very good quality. Just a great company.

They are a very professional company that I have been using for years. Carlie in the office is amazing to work with. They showed up on time and Installation was quick and precise. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I will use them again.

I had 20 double-hung, triple-pane windows installed. This was such an easy experience with Zen Windows. Brian and all of his employees were professional and responsive whenever I had a question. The price was great with the coupons on Angie's List. I love the new windows and plan to buy from Zen Windows again.

Bruce and Russ did a great job installing the windows. Bruce kept me abreast of the status of the window production and the timing of the installation. Due to the unpredictable weather, the windows could not be installed until the following week. Even then, the weather was still a bit cold and they still came out. The windows are of great quality and function well. This company is very refreshing as they do as they say. The estimation and sale was very simple and straight-forward. No haggling and no one coming to your house to sell you snake oil - they are honest and straight-up. The other two window companies that came to me prior should be ashamed at how they engage customers presuming our stupity :) Zen Windows is a professional company. I would recommend them highly.

We've had an excellent experience with Zen Windows, from start to finish. Great windows (Triple-Pane Lotus Window, an upper end window from Soft-Lite), great installation (by Bruce), great warranty (installation and windows), great price. I highly recommend them.

Very well done. Two men. Both Professional and personable. Hard workers. Cleaned everything up and hauled away the garbage. Very conscientous about cleaning up any mess including dirt tracked in (it is winter and so expected but still very little). I only gave a B (still good but not perfect) on punctuality because they were 40 minutes late the first day and 35 minutes the second. Other than that, the process couldn't have gone smoother. Very nice company to work with thus far. Very quick with quotes and clear on expectations for timeline and payment. I will need to replace more windows in the future and will call them again. HIghly recommend.

The house was purchased in the spring last year and we realized that the windows were not adequate for the winter as they were the original 1956 windows. I contacted Zen Windows through Angie's List to see what could be done for the windows. Zen Windows was great to work with throughout the process from initial contact to installation day. Installation was quick and the crew was very professional. The installation was followed by a call by the owner, Dan, to make sure everything went well. It took well less than a month for the measurement appointment, custom ordering the windows and getting them installed. I would definitely recommend Zen Windows for any windows needs.

We had some small issues with them. They lost our order and we had some delays. The owner called me and told me I had a bigger window than what the deal stated but he would still honor it since we had so many delays. In the end, they did a great job and the owner kept me informed.
