WOW! Internet, Cable, and Phone

I think they are good or better than competitors. They don't pester you like Time Warner. They have been really good.

I would recommend Wow Internet and Phone / Wide Open West. They are good. I will continue to use them in the future.

They were extremely reliable. Their customer service was very attentive and the wait time was always very short.

I have been very happy with their service. They tend to be pretty competitive in price. There service is just as good as anyone else. When the service come they are especially nice.

I get a lot better reception and quality television than another company I switched over from. I have better pricing too so it was a no-brainer. I am very pleased.

We have had their service since 2001 and we were one of the first customers in the area. We switched for 2 months and came back. I have referred WOW to my family and friends and they worth the buck.

Their customer service is lacking. Up until I switched to Ultra TV the service was good.

I would like to grade them highly on their responsive, punctuality and professionalism.

They take their time and explain things to you if you have a problem and if can't figure it out, they will come out the next day to help. I also appreciate that they don't talk down to you. Their prices are very good as well.

It was easy and quick. The technician was intelligent and proficient at his job. He was considerate of my daughter's nap time, and he had everything finished up very quickly.

I have used WOW for many years at two different residences. Since we have moved into our new home, we have had nothing but issues with our WOW internet service. Slow speeds, not connecting, no resolution from WOW. We even went so far as to buy a new computer thinking maybe that was the issue- it wasn't. WOW has sent several techs out over the past 2 years, most have had little computer experience and one couldn't even set up the router correctly. At this point, I cannot recommend them to anyone as I have had nothing but poor service and a second computer that I am not able to use if I want to connect to the internet.

Won't know until they show up on Wednesday and I may even cancel that appointment if I have the time to contact some other cable companies.

Very nice people but not so good service. Box was replaced two times, still goes in and out. Missed the entire NFC and AFC championship and just went ahead and cancelled our Super Bowl party. Why take the risk of having friends and family over only to have the cable go out? You call them and theres no new fix so you feel like sysiphus. You also get the feeling that they're doing this all from their Mom's basement.

After moving our electrical service, we had to have our cable service re-grounded. After the re-grounding, a series of outages came on gradually -- a snowy TV picture, interrupted cable, intermittent internet reception, etc. but never a complete outage until several weeks after the original re-grounding. Like calling the doctor to treat symptoms, we placed multiple service calls to WOW over several weeks to deal with the individual problems. Every time but one, they were polite, helpful, and willing to spend time with us to discuss the issues. (The exception was the operator who said we wouldn't have a problem if we just bought their digital serivce.) One operator even put in an emergency call to replace a part at the transformer, which resulted in a temporary improvement -- but the problem came back. Finally an operator spent nearly an hour on the phone with me, going over every connection in the house to try to diagnose the whole "disease.' It was the start of a long holiday weekend, but he put in a service order for the first available time and suggested that we log the problems in the the intervening 3 days. When the serviceman arrived this morning, he looked at our log and the recorded reports, and he could tell immediately that water was making contact with the line somewhere. When he couldn't find the precise place, he stripped out the entire system and totally replaced everything from the pole up. When you're not buying premium service, just the low-end product which best fits your needs, you expect to get kicked around and neglected. That has NOT been my experience at all with WOW (with that single exception). They were always on time, always concerned, always polite and efficient. This is why offers from other cable/internet companies haven't interested us. Delivering the same quality service to even the smallest customers makes a big impact.

I had another service in the past but had bad service and lots of problems with them. I switched to WOW and they are always out right away to address any of my problems. They generally make it out the same day. I pay about $90 per month.

got an advertisment on my door. advertisment cheaper then what i WAS PAYING. Service rep said it was only pennies less then what I was paying. No change in my billing.

WOW is awful. The cable signal in my upstairs rooms was weak, my cable modems (2 different models!) kept on failing with no internet service, and my HD DVR had 1980's style graphics. Worst of all, the DVR would frequently FREEZE on HD channels that would subsequently require a reboot - at the risk of losing recorded programs. When I called to request a credit for over 18 days of lack-of-internet service, their so-called "customer service" rep tried to trap me in a circular argument that they wouldn't refund my money because I didn't call earlier after the SECOND time my service was dropped - as if my life is centered around dealing with customer service and cable companies. I have left WOW and my only WOW moment was "WOW - what a lousy experience."

When I called to schedule service, it was only about a week before I could get an appointment. The service person was on time and listened to my concerns and what I wanted to do. All questions were answered to more than my satisfaction. They even answered some computer hardware questions I had. Since I am not as computer-literate as I'd like to be, I really appreciated them taking the time to do this. They were very professional throughout the appointment. I've had cable TV and internet service with this company for some time. Several months I took advantage of one of their packages and added phone service. No glitches so far. When others companies solicit replacing WOW I tell them I am happy and satisfied with everything I have. (If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!)

We have been satisfied overall with the quality of our internet/phone service, but have had some trouble with customer service. After the severe windstorm, our service was out for several days, which we expected. The initial customer service rep we contacted was very helpful and reassuring. When all of our neighbors had the internet restored and we still did not, we contacted them again and had a horrible rep who was rude and questioned everything we told him. When we called back to speak to someone else, they sent someone out and fixed the problem--a line that had broken off on the outside of our house. While we're glad they sent someone out, it was incredibly frustrating to have different representatives giving us different information and to have been treated so poorly by one of the reps.

They installed the line and modem for cable, phone and internet. The line installation was neat without all the hanging, drooping cables. They stayed and tested all 3 services to be sure they were all working. I haven't had any of the connectivity problems I had with the previous company. The TV reception is clearer than with my other service. All at a lower price.

The WOW Customer Service individuals was very helpful and knowledgeable. The channel line-up matched well with our current service. In fact they may offer more HD channels than our current cable provider. The digital phone service was equivalent (and we could keep our existing number). The internet service was also comparable. The biggest obstacle to switching was the need to install a new line from the junction box at the rear of our property to our home. WOW is not able to tap the existing cable line (of the current provider). As a result, we would have needed to trench a new cable under a fence and up to the house (running through landscaping). I was also concerned about possibly impacting our underground irrigation system. After much consideration, we elected to stay with our current provider. WOW was very professional and helpful throughout this process. If the installation issue hadn't existed, we would have moved to WOW.
