Description of Work: I'm having my upstairs completely redone - woodwork, doors, painting and new carpeting. They only started last week so the work is not done yet. It should be done by tomorrow. So far all the workman have been very polite and have done a great job. I would definitely recommend them to others and may be rehiring them myself for other jobs.

Description of Work: They were very nice and professional. The quality of work is good but not perfect. There is a little caulking laziness but the main components were installed well. We had a tub removed and installed, the shower head moved up, flooring, shower walls and installation of cabinet and sink.

Description of Work: I had contacted Wingler regarding removing old cedar shingles and replacing them with siding for my home as well as installing new gutters. I was pleased with my salesman and the products he showed me. In the end I went with another company because I liked their product and color selection better. I think Wingler would have done just as good a job had I gone with them.

Description of Work: I had Wingler install 14 storm windows with interchangeable screens on my German Village house. The sales associate was thorough and helpful, though there was some pressuring to buy now through time-limited discounts that I did not appreciate. But, the price was good and I was ready to move forward. The installer was courteous and answered all of my questions and did a great job with the installation. When some of the screens were missing in the initial order, the remainder were quickly ordered and delivered about a week later. | |So all in all a very good experience and I would recommend Wingler and consider them for future jobs. Just be aware that there may be some pressure to sign a contract quickly and the best pricing may be offered only on the day you receive the quote.

Description of Work: We've been using Wingler Construction over the years that we've lived in Columbus from windows, gutters and storm doors. We were very pleased with their services.

Description of Work: Worked with them for updating my kitchen. They refinished kitchen cabinets, installed new sink and microwave over the range. Their work was really good, however, logistics need improving. I initially hired them in early February 2013. I explained that I wanted a new countertop, microwave over counter installed and new sink, but i wanted the job done by March 22, since i was leaving for vacation. they agreed and wrote that in the contract. Since I was going to a quartz countertop, they contracted Konkus for that part of the job. I had talked to the project manager on March 14, since the install had not been scheduled. They were pretty responsive in getting the measurements etc. so I was a little disappointed it was not scheduled yet. He had told me that he had just sent an email to Konkus concerning my new countertop, and would call me when he received a reply. However, he did not call. Finally the next week, I called them again. Found out that Konkus had me scheduled for that morning, but since I wasn't told, I was at work. I was able to go home to finish my work day, so Konkus arrived about 1PM. They did a great job installing the countertop. Wingler then did all they could and finished the job on Thursday, March 21, as I had initially requested. They did a great job, except for the logistics and scheduling. It was very hectic, frustrating, but the workmanship was great. I love my new kitchen. I fault both companies for the lack of communication on scheduling. However, they both did great work.

Description of Work: Replaced several floor-to-ceiling screens and two doors on existing porch with aluminum screen and door structures, which looked very comparable to the former wooden structures. We were pleased with planning, timeliness and workmanship.

Description of Work: Wingler is used by Home Depot for installation. They came out on a Friday,on time,& Dennis was very professional. I was given an estimate of $4500 to remodel the bathroom plus material. I was to get the material and they supplied the labor. I called Dennis the next Monday,three days later and he came out to the house at 6:00 pm to tell me the estimate was now $6500. When I went back to Home Depot and talked to them about it,seems I was not the only one they who experienced this. They did have another company they used.

Description of Work: Home depot referred me to winger for a master remodel project. They promptly called me and set up an appt. the representative arrived on time and I gave him an overview of what we wanted (basically- a complete remodeling job including a change to footprint of room). I did not give him a $ target but made it clear we were looking for a custom remodel. He then tried to convince me we should not change the footprint or vanity. He wanted to replace shower surround with what sounded like some modular unit. He mentioned a 2-3 day job and I mentioned other contractors were assuming 4-5 weeks for a complete custom rehab. He then tried to sell me on their company and the commercial customers they had. Clearly he was not listening to what we were looking for and was trying to do a rebath type project. He left indicating he would gt back to me in a few days with estimate. That was over 2 weeks ago and I've not heard anything from him. I would not reccomend them if you want a customized remodel project.

Description of Work: They installed a new shower and floor in my bathroom.

Description of Work: They replaced a section of box gutter on a 100+ year old home in Victorian Village. They installed ice-guard and replaced the shingles they had to remove to install the ice-guard. They lined the box gutter they replaced on the west side of the building and re-lined the box gutter on the north side of the building. I checked the work about two weeks after I paid the bill. The gutter on the west side looked great but the re-lining on the north side did not adhere and was bubbling in spots. I took some snapshots and mailed in a comment sheet. They did not question my complaint, in fact they apologized and came out within 10 days to completely re-line the gutter on the north side. In the apology they explained that they used adhesive they had in stock and that apparently it was old and had deteriorated. I was impressed. In 30 years owning the building I have never worked with a company that was so sincere in providing quality work.
