The gentleman was professional, cordial and knowledgeable. He removed soiled foot coverings upon entering my house and was very respectful. I am always impressed with their service technicians. They are the best!

It's been the perfect example of a poor product and horrible customer service. My advice is to avoid WOW internet and cable service at all cost. There are plenty of other providers with better results.
Description of Work: I recently signed up for WOW internet and tv service, and it's been a disaster. The internet signal was so weak that I could barely use my laptop in half of the house. I called WOW, and the customer service rep was very rude and condescending. He kept telling me that it wasn't unusual to have weaker signals further from their box. I've had internet service before, so I'm well aware of this, however I couldn't get service one room away. I asked him to check to see if they could send a stronger signal. After making several excuses he finally checked and told me that I was in fact receiving a very low signal, but they would amp up the signal. I still have really poor service, but it's a little better. It's not good enough to keep WOW service. I work from home, so I need reliable internet speed. The customer service rep also accused me of altering the original set-up. I definitely did not do that, but he said there was no other way to explain how it happened. I suggested the reason was their incompetence. Also, anyone that has ever had AT&T U-Verse or Insight will be very disappointed in WOW's tv service. Their program guide and menus are extremely confusing. My advice is to avoid WOW. I'm currently researching new providers. I should add that I'm very techno-literate. I've been selling technology solutions for more than 20 years, so this isn't the case of a user that just can't figure out new technology.

All of their services are excellent. I have no problem with any of my services. If there is a problem, I call Customer Service and there's always somebody to take my call. It's always somebody that speaks very good English and I can understand them very well. If I have a problem, they talk me through it and they've never failed to help me out. They have resolved all my issues. I am very happy with the cable channels I get. I got a DVR easily and it didn't cost me a penny. I have all the regular phone service features.
Description of Work: They provide internet, cable and telephone service for me.

Overall, it was a great experience. The WOW staff are all very friendly and helpful. I've never experienced any problems. Even after months after the salesperson was in my home, when I called him to ask a question, he remembered who I was and was eager to help me in any way he could. He even coached me through a problem over the phone, and the problem was resolved immediately. Any time the electricity goes out, if I can't get my TV to come on, I call a phone number and a signal goes out to my TV, and within a few minutes it's working again! I would recommend them to anyone!
Description of Work: The salesperson was extremely friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions and gave me a lot of information. The installation staff arrived promptly and were professional and courteous. I have my phone, Internet, and cable bundled with them, and it's cheaper that way.

The price is extremely good; they are not everywhere but they are always top rated in the areas where they are. If something goes wrong they fix it; much of what they do can be fixed from where they are; I don't know how they do that; they do it from their office. They are very good. Every time we need them they are here. They are friendly, professional and get the job done. I will use them again in the future.

WOW was recommended by our realtor and by family that lives in the area. After having our moved delayed twice (and rescheduling the installation twice) we had it installed last week. The customer service (installation department) was extremely understanding about the change in appointments and there was no charge for the two different changes. On the day of the installation we received our prearranged phone call from the installer and he was right on time. John, who is an independent contractor that works for WOW was extremely professional. He showed great care while running a new cable from the pole to our house. He offered several suggestions on where and how the cable should be attached to the house to help hide the cable. While inside the house we wore protective booties on his boots so as to not track mud or scratch our hard wood floors. He set up three locations in the house, one plain tv in the guess room, one with a digital box in the bedroom, and the main one with a Tivo (that I owned) in the living room. Everything seemed to go fine, but I realized that I wanted a HD box in the bedroom. John didn’t have the equipment with him but told me that he would bring it the next day. Later that night the Tivo started to have problems and when John came the next day he replaced the digital box with an HD DVR. But was not able to fix the Tivo but promised to do some research to try and find a solution. Two days later (on a Sunday) John came back to the house and replaced the s-card (cableCard) in the TIVO and everything has been working well since. As for the Internet, I haven’t had a problem. No drops and average speed for cable.
Description of Work: A new cable was ran to the house, three rooms had cable tv set up, and interenet was installed.

Description of Work: Subscribed to Cable, Internet and Phone service. WHAT A MISTAKE! This company is a joke. They claim to have the lowest prices with a guarantee till 2011. Then the price changes every month. Our television service kept going out over and over. Their Video on Demand is extremely slow with very few choices. The telephone service went out all the time and we had to reset it. The internet service was pretty fast, when we could connect. It too was out all the time. Customer service is virtually non-existent. When you do get through on the telephone (usually a 10-15 minute wait) you're talking to someone in TimBukTu. We disconnected and switched back to our original company as soon as we could. STAY AWAY FROM WOW!!!
