Great. I thought it might need some work since it is ten years old. They determined there was nothing clogging the hoses and the problem was a very dirty filter due to years of use and a recent home remodel project tearing out plaster walls. They said plaster dust is one of the worst for vacuum cleaners especially the bag. They changed out both filters and the bag and now it works great.,

Our Dyson started making a horrible noise one day; almost as if something was caught on the brushbar. While the attachments worked fine when the vacuum was in an upright position, everytime we released the handle to use the vacuum on the floor, this loud, grinding noise would start up. My husband's comment was "time to get a new vacuum." My response was "it's a Dyson...are you kidding me?" I found Weisheimer's on Angie's List, and called them early in the week. They told me it could be a number of things, but they did indeed perform work on Dysons, and all I needed to do was bring it into the shop and they'd take a look at it for me. We brought it in on a Saturday, and we were in and out in 15 minutes. Kent knew exactly what the problem was, without even having to turn the vacuum on. He had the brushbar in stock, and replaced it onsite in a matter of minutes. For anyone out there who has a Dyson, if you ever have any issues, bring it to these guys. For $40, we have a vacuum that works exactly as it did the first time I took it out of the box.

My Hoover carpet cleaner's brushes did not rotate. Hoover directed me to Weisheimer's and told me the part would be replaced because it was still under warranty. I took it in this morning and it was fixed 15 minutes later. They submitted everything to Hoover and I was on my way. They were very pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend them!

I called to see if they could service my irobot Roomba vaccum cleaner. The person who answer said sure but it would be about two weeks and to bring the charging station. The next week I took it in and the man behind the counter didn't greet me, but immediately said, "We don't work on those." When I explained my phone converstaion, he asserted that the person who told me that "didn't know what he was talking about." When I asked if he knew anyone locally who worked on Roombas, he said, "No, and call before you take it somewhere." To which I could only answer, "What good does that do?"

They were very nice people. This is a family owned business that has been around since the 1920's. They gave me the price on fixing my hoover shampooer, but offered me an option to buy a new shampooer for cheaper than what my repairs would have cost. I let them keep my old vacuum so that they could use the parts, instead of throwing it away.

They identified the problem with my vacuum cleaner quickly (probably a very common issue) and changed the belt. They charged me less than $3.00, so I bought some vacuum bags.

Great!! I was more than pleased. They know how to do business the right way.

They are well established company. They are very busy, but they do good work. Be patient because they do have a lot of business.

The counter person knew exactly what the problem was--two screws on the back of the sweeper needed to be tightened. He explained that the manufacturer doesn't tighten these two screws for some reason. He's made this same "repair" for dozens of customers. It took 5 minutes tops and he didn't charge for this service.

Repair was done on the spot. Total time (parking, diagnosis, repair) about 15 minutes. Very impressed with responsiveness and fairness of price. Noted that the store had lots of replacement parts, sweeper accessories, and a good display of refurbished sweepers for sale. Will visit when my current Hoover dies as current machines, for price, are too shoddily made.

Called first. Explained problem. I was told there would be a $43.95 charge to fix. The wait would be 1-2 weeks. Took machine in. It was cleaned and fixed in a week. Everyone I spoke with was most helpful. I was told that because there is a heating unit on this machine, the soap dries up which results in clogging the tips. They gave me some tips so that this will not happen again.

After being told by another repair company that my vacuum couldn't be repaired, I went to mfg. website and emailed them for advice. They referred me to Weisheimer's. I took my vacuum in to them on Dec. 17th with instructions to please call me before doing any work as I wanted an estimate. I didn't want a repair bill as high as a new vacuum. Right before Christmas probably wasn't the best time to take my vacuum in for repairs. When I hadn't heard from them for a week, I gave them a call. At first they couldn't find my vacuum cleaner. They did find it and said they would begin working on it. Later that day I got a call and they explained the problem and gave me 2 options. I was excited that it was only the cord plug and that it wouldn't cost me very much! They fixed it that day and I picked it right up. It is now working like a charm! Even though things were shaky in the beginning, it all worked out. I'm glad I didn't buy a new one from the other place.

The repair was prompt. The staff courteous and knowledgeable. The cost was very reasonable.

I HAD SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE VACUUM. THEY TALKED WITH ME OVER THE PHONE FOR A LONG TIME TRYING TO TROUBLESHOOT THE ISSUE. I TOOK THE VACUUM IN TWO WEEKS LATER, ONLY HAD TO WAIT 5 MINUTES WHEN THEY WERE REALLY BUSY, AND THEY FIXED THE MINOR PROBLEM. THEY ALSO GAVE ME SOME GREAT TIPS ON MAINTENANCE AND SUGGESTED THAT I STOCK UP ON SOME COMMONLY REPLACED PARTS SO I CAN FIX IT MYSELF IN THE FUTURE. THEY HAVE VERY HIGH QUALITY CLEANING SUPPLIES WHICH I STOCKED UP ON TOO! THE PRICE INCLUDES REPAIR IN ADDITION TO LOTS OF SUPPLIES. JUST A GREAT JANITORIAL SUPPLY STORE AND VACUUM SHOP AS WELL.

WE TOOK 2 VACUUM CLEANERS TO THEIR STORE FOR REPAIR. ONE JUST NEEDED A $10 BELT, AND THE OTHER ONE WAS BEYOND REPAIR. WE GOT GREAT ADVICE, QUICK REPAIR FOR THE BELT, AND WE WERE IMPRESSED BY THEIR POLITE AND HONEST SERVICE!

I HAVE USED THEM IN THE PAST, THEY ARE ALWAYS CAREFUL, AND WHEN THINGS COME BACK THEY ARE FIXED. THEY WILL TAKE THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THINGS TO ME IF I SHOW AN INTEREST IN FIXING THE VACUUM MYSELF.

REPAIR WAS EXCELLENT.
