Brad the salesman called us back within minutes of our semi-emergency phone call that our door was stuck closed. They had a young technician named Blake who came out the very next day to fit within our schedule. We can't say enough good thongs about the whole experience as Blake although very young was extremely well trained, professional, courteous & knowledgeable. He made sure everything was lined up right & even lubed all the roller joints etc.. I would highly recommend this company for all of your garage door needs.

Because my car was essentially trapped in the garage because of the broken spring, they were able to come out and fix the spring immediately upon receiving our phone call request for service. We have used this company before, and we are never disappointed. Very friendly and professional.

It was just a general maintenance. I had used him before, at my old house. I had him put a new garage door opener.

We had the large garage door done with them about 7 years before and we really liked it. They were very prompt. They have high quality at a really reasonable price. They were very professional and he was empathetic to the fact I have a disability. We let him know that we had been looking for someone to do a ramp for us at the front entrance. Garage door torsion spring broke as the door opener was operating resulting in gears of the carriage assembly to be stripped. The door came down with a resounding thud - the door is very heavy. The 16ft door has 2 torsion springs, one of which unknowingly had broken earlier, but the door opener was still able to open the door till the final spring broke. Called Wayne Dalton to set up a time for repair. Serviceman arrived at scheduled time and repaired and replaced subject parts in a timely and professional manner.

Called Wayne Dalton on Thursday, November 21st because garage door would not go up more than 1 foot above the ground. Dispatcher had stated that it sounded like a spring had broke since we had not been having any problems with our Wayne Dalton garage door. The first available appointment was Monday morning. Technician called at approximately 10:20 a.m. on Monday to state that he was about 40 minutes away and might be there a little after 11 a.m. (Note - scheduled appointment was between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.). Technician arrived and I explained the symptoms. He quickly found the broken spring and quoted me the same price that the dispatcher had to replace the broken spring. The installation was completed quickly. The installer lubed the rollers, hinges and bearings and cycled the door and opener to ensure that it was running smoothly. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from the operator who answered the phone and directed the call to the services area, the dispatcher and the installer. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing service on their garage door or opener. NOTE: I had also used Wayne Dalton in 2008 when the garage door came off the roller and damaged the weatherstripping. At that time, they also had extremely superior service as the installer easily got the garage door back on the track, replaced the damaged weatherstripping and adjusted the door and opener.

Brad from wayne dalton met with me at my house to discuss the project and arrived on time with door samples. Brad was very helpful in discussing door styles, function and pricing. They were friendly and responsive, punctual and clean, as well as being professional and not pushing any extra services on us during their visit. Estimate was spot on. Materials were in stock which was a plus since we wanted to replace broken door as soon as possible. Company representative came out for estimate and also did a temporary fix on the door so we could use it until installation could be completed. Installation date was quick. Installer arrived on time, completed job satisfactorily, cleaned up workspace, etc. Great vendor. Would definitely use again.

I made an appointment to get my garage door fixed. They gave me a window from 12 to 2 pm. I called at 2 pm because they hadn't shown up and I was told they were running late and would be there at 2.30 or 2.45. I called again at 2.45and was told the tech had just left his previous job. I asked when he would get here and was told the tech was in Hilliard not far from where I live in Dublin. They said he would be here in a half hour. 45 minutes later at 3.30 the tech called and said he was just finishing up his job and was now leaving from Grove City, which is quite a bit further than Hilliard - and he was just getting ready to leave. Quite a different story from what I had gotten earlier. The tech said he would be there in 30 minutes. An hour later the tech called and told me he couldn't find my house. This was expected because when I made the appointment I told them we lived in a new subdivision and we weren't on the GPS maps yet. I offered directions but was told that the tech would find it without any problems. I wasted over 4 hours waiting for Dalton to come fix my garage door. They never showed up and were rude and unapologetic about it. I was told "we're late sometimes". If the tech is "running late" how about calling your customers and updating the arrival range? At 4.45 (on a Friday) I called another company and they apologized that they couldn't come out right away, but could they come Sunday. I should have skipped Dalton and started with them. Next time I will. The Dalton tech told me that someone from the office will call me Monday to set up a new appointment. I can't wait to tell them that my garage door is already fixed.

I was pleased with their work. The salesperson was tremendously professional but the servicemen were a little less professional. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

They are a good company. I was trying to replace carriage doors with something more modern. Other providers hemmed and hawed about different things, but Wayne-Dalton didn't say anything about that. They came and did the job right, there was an issue but they came back to fix it, and it was very easy to work with them.

Greg, the technician called 30 minutes prior to let me know he was coming and when to expect him. He arrived right on time, which was also the time I was told when I scheduled the service call. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He had the parts that were needed and was able to fix the door and inspect and test the door and opener very quickly. The cost was much less than I had expected. I would highly recommend!

Wayne Dalton is the company and brand of garage door. The other brand is Clopay. They all look the same. The main difference is the material on the inside and the track system seems to vary a little. I called a couple of places about a Clopay door and they quoted me 975-1275 w/installation. I called Wayne Dalton and the door was 980 with installation. First we discussed a door and scheduled them to take a look. They came out on 11.30.10 and he said that it could probably be fixed for 200. We decided that since the door was 34+ years that we would get the new and take advantage of the energy tax credit. I appreciated the honesty that I received. We had to order the door b/c it was a less common style so it came a week later and installation was smooth.
