Chaz and his team were fantastic from start to finish. Our floors look totally amazing. Their attention to detail is everything we could have hoped for. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and every step of the way we knew exactly what was happening and what was going to happen next. We could not be more thrilled. Aftercare is also fantastic - lots of advice to help us take care of our new floor plus some "emergency" help when painters working on our remodel damaged one of the newly stained vent covers. We hired Chaz to refinish several floors in our home. He was very punctual and they did a fantastic job. There were several areas that needed minor repair, and he included that for free. The floors that we had him do looked so good that we had them back a month later to finish off the last two floors that we were going to try and do ourselves. His price was fair and inline with other quotes that we received.

From our initial contact, Chaz was great at communicating the process and responded quickly to all questions (which I had alot of). Our first floor existing wood flooring was refinished and we also had new wood flooring installed in two areas. It looks beautiful! The crew (Zack, JJ, CJ, George, Tony and Jesse) did a great job and were very nice and easy to work with; eager to please. They started and completed the job in the time frame promised. We will be using them again to complete our upstairs in a few months. Definitely would recommend!

Excellent from beginning to end. Chaz was professional and responsive to my many questions throughout the planning stages. He quoted each part of the job so that we could decide which to have his crew do and which we could do ourselves to save money. The crew showed up as scheduled each day and were hardworking, professional and courteous. Jesse, George and Anthony did an excellent job and the floors looks great. The job was completed on time and the final bill was as quoted, with no surprises or added costs.

Afterer being told my 100 yr old floors were too old to be finished, Chaz and his team came in and worked wonders. They were prompt, clean, and well worth the price. I highly recommend.

Wonderful job done right before move-in of a 100-year-old house. The hole in the pine floor was repaired quickly and you can’t tell it was ever there. Price was reasonable and super-fast response time. Highly recommend!!

Chaz Davis and his team at Unique Hardwood Flooring went above and beyond to give us stunningly beautiful floors. Chaz is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the business and was very upfront and honest from the start. Our project manager Jesse worked to save us money and time by providing a solution to a section of our home that needed new wood. He also went above and beyond by making a trip on a Friday evening to secure more flooring when we were short on wood. This assured the wood have time to acclimate over the weekend and keep us on schedule. Our demo and install crew George and Anthony communicated arrival times clearly, and were able to make quick work of a tremendous amount of work. They interlaced old and new wood seemlessly and perfectly. Our sanding and staining crew Jesse, Zach, and Josh turned our floors into a work of art. Their work highlights the beauty of the wood and really makes our home magnificent. They also communicated clearly about arrival times and how long we had to wait to walk on the floors. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with this honest, hardworking, and skilled company. We would recommend them to anyone and can not wait to have them back to do our upstairs floors.

The owner, Chaz, was extremely professional and great to deal with. He worked with my schedule and answered all of my questions. Jessie did a great job with installation and clean-up. Jessie was very meticulous. I will definitely use this company again in the future and recommend to my friends. They installed new treads and risers for our steps that prevails had carpeting. They also installed wood flooring in our second story hall area.

They performed hardwood floor refinishing in my home. The project went very well and I could not have been more impressed with Chaz’s thoroughness or professionalism or the work that Jesse, JJ and the team did. I just realized I had not written my A+ glowing review of them until now. I am so pleased with their previous work that I’m planning to have them install new flooring throughout multiple areas of my home.

We were redoing the kitchen and decided to do the floors throughout the house. Chaz came by and explained all our options (keep existing floor and stain, lay pre-finished hardwood, differences between flooring types, etc.) and answered my long list of questions. His team (Jesse, Anthony and George) got started on our project and finished it in the time frame that was stated. They were great to work with! I would highly recommend them!

Excellent work. Chaz provided a clear and appropriate estimate. Worked out a start date. Crew came on the morning of the start date. Crew explained clearly what would happen each day. Worked around us when we were home. Totally professional and eager to answer any questions. Chaz responded to texts and calls promptly.

Very high level of detail and care about the quality of the finished project. Additionally Chaz was available by phone, text, and in person for any questions before, during, and after the job. Great company to work with. Had a small section of prefinished hardwood to install, and a large section of bamboo. Alot of other work was going on in house, guys did a fantastic job with the installation including working around all of the other work. Had a tight timeline and they were able to meet.

I recently bought a 1937 Bungalow home and needed carpets removed from the dining room,living room, 3 bedrooms a staircase and hallway and the hardwood floors refinished. They did an excellent job. Chaz Davis and crew did a great job! We had an existing hardwood floor in our kitchen, and wanted to extend the same variable width red oak to the three adjoining rooms. That required removal of a layer of particle board under the existing carpet, before laying down hardwood and then sanding and finishing it. The crew showed up on time, cleaned up every day, and kept at it until the job was done. All you could ask!

The project went very well. The workers worked for a solid week to complete the job.

They did a terrific job and the floors are all beautiful. This was a large project and their team lived up to and exceeded all of the compliments that we had read in the other reviews on Angie's list. Chaz and crew explained each phase of the process and communicated daily on what to expect. Everyone was on time, knowledgeable, very thorough and cleaned up completely after each days work. The quality of their work was exceptional as they were dealing with both brand new flooring plus a couple of different types of wood from when the home was built in 1950. It was clear from the beginning that everyone on the crew knew exactly what they were doing and took pride in the results. It is very difficult these days to find a truly customer service oriented company. Unique Hardwood Floors understands the definition of "customer service". They were a joy to work with and produced great results. Definitely an A+ on all levels.

The work looks great! Everything that was agreed upon from the beginning was completed in the time frame originally discussed. I needed one small repair once they were complete, they came out next day and remedied the issue quickly. Each crew that came in to work was clean, knowledgeable, and willing to answer all questions. I would highly recommend.

It went great and looks better than expected. Our floors are about 95 years old and were pretty beat up with several 1-2 foot holes from prior duct work that needed patched so we weren't sure what to expect. Chaz is great to work with and took the time to answer all of our questions, propose and discuss options and help us make informed decisions when selecting a stain color. The crew did a great job with the floors and left the house clean and virtually dust free. They also found an old newspaper from 1924 (the year the house was completed) in the floor and saved it for us which was really cool. The project was for four rooms (approx 12'x12' each) and a 6' x 3' hallway. The job started on a Monday with sanding and patching the holes, then it was stained on Thursday, two coats of polyurethane on Friday (one in the morning and one in the afternoon), and a final coat of polyurethane on Saturday morning. We were able to walk on it in socks by Saturday afternoon but had to wait 4 days before putting furniture on it to let the finish cure properly. Chaz had suggested moving out of the house for 24 hours after the stain was applied and it was good advice. I was there for a little while after the stain was applied and was getting a headache from the fumes. It was good to know ahead of time that this was necessary so we could make the proper arrangements.
