Usually we find and fix the problem within the first hour. If not, You are billed in 15 minute increments.

Justin was quite knowledgeable about the options for hanging my TV and explained what he could do, how it would work and what it would take to get the job done. Since I had only purchased the TV the week before, and it was still in the box, I asked him if he would set it up and put it on the table where the existing TV was. He seemed more than happy to do so, chatting all the while, telling me he had to get to Tiffany's to buy a Christmas present for his girlfriend. He set the TV up and we decided we would talk in a few weeks to decide the next step. As it turned out I decided not to put the TV on the wall. I emailed Justin and told him of my decision and asked him if he would return the booklet that came with my TV. He picked it up on his way out and said he would register my TV for me. I emailed him about 4 times and he never responded so I called him. When I told him who I was he became extremely irate and told me I used him to get my TV set up, implying that I had never intended to have TV put on the wall (which was untrue). He said he would not return the booklet and didn't even know if he still had it. I told him I was going to report to Angie's List and he said, "Oh, I'm really scared!" He also said he was from New York and it was all about the money for him and he did not appreciate that I wasted his time because is very busy. (I paid him for setting up my TV but he was obviously irritated that the job was not the higher-paying one that he had envisioned.) This is the worst experience I have had with someone I found on Angie's List. I should have paid attention to the other person's report. Although Justin seemed to know a great deal about HD TVs, I am sure there are other technicians who know as much as he does and would not verbally attack you if you changed your mind about something. I hope he returns to New York.
Description of Work: I hired Justin to tell me what my options were for the new TV I purchased. There were 2 places on the wall where I was considering having it hung but I didn't know if either or both spots were possibilities.

The Customer is always right! This customer was misleading. My focus is to help the customer not insult or hinder. I borrowed the quick start book with the TV's Serial Number so I could register the TV with the manufacture for warranty purposes. The book was left in her mailbox. This customer put up a $40.00 non-refundable deposit to install a peerless mounting bracket for LCD/Plasma TV's. Then she changed her mind and I had to ship the mounting bracket back to Peerless which cost $42. US. Everyone is entitled to change their mind... After 2 hours of contemplation.. How I see it is... She tipped me $40.00 to setup her TV and then cost me $42 to ship back equipment. We lost money. Nice lady... Not a nice report!

Very disappointing after a positive first contact.
Description of Work: On Sept. 24 I telephoned this company to ask if discuss having a new television installed in an an entertainment cabinet. I spoke to Justin who was very friendly, professional, and helpful. He said he would come to my home on 9/25/10 at 11:00 to a**** the amount of space and configuration of the components in my entertainment cabinet. I sent him photos of the cabinet to give him an idea of what I was needing. I never heard from him after that. He did not show up on the 25th or call to explain why he wouldn't be coming.
