TruGreen Lawn Care - 5665

Trugreen did an excellent job on my lawn in about half a year of service thus far. They aerated and overseeded my lawn and now it looks like a baseball field. It is so thick, green and healthy. So far they've only come out once this spring and sprayed weed killer and the weeds died inside of 48 hours. I have no weeds whatsoever. Their best service IMO is the aeration and overseeding. Prior to their service, my lawn grew at different rates and lengths. After overseeding, now my entire lawn grows in evenly and looks like a thick shag carpet. No more high and low spots of grass. The overseeding essentially takes over your current grass and replaces it with the newly grown seeds. I will not renew my plan because they did so well during the 1st years subscription that now I know how to maintain it going forward with other spray-on fertilizers/weed killers.

Absolutely terrible, I was told I would receive a call 24 hours prior to my appointment in 5-10 business days. Waited over a month and nothing.. Called into customer service complained.. Was then told my appointment was scheduled the following Monday.. 10/31. No Appointment, No call, Never showed up. Will never try to use tru-green. Had no problem charging my card up front

TrueGreen did a horrendous job on our lawn. Our yard has never looked this bad, we watered, mowed and cared for it as instructed. We went two months between treatments this summer. The costumer service argues that the poor quality of our lawn was due to the hot conditions this summer. Our other neighbors with lawn services do not have the same abundance of weeds. We will not be returning costumers and would never recommend their services to friends and family.

Been using them for a couple of years now. They are very responsive to my request.

We have used their full lawn care services for many years, but this year it all went downhill. They over fertilized our lawn and killed the grass in many areas. In addition, my yard was FULL of weeds throughout. I tried to speak with someone locally, but all I could ever get was their call center. When I called to cancel my account, they didn't care at all. Guess they must have plenty of business.

Treatment did not curtail the weeds in our yard. Provider would not return my calls.

Am hiring another company to see if results are better.

They are reliable. They have things that they recommend of how often they should come. I usually have them come a little less often. Let's say if they recommend 6 treatments, I get 4. I find it good enough. I am pleased that they have that flexibility. I have not used anybody else. I keep using them so I must think they are adequate. I don't want to deal with these poisons that most companies deal with. It takes about 20 minutes. There is a big truck but one person and a hose that comes up from their truck and spray basically.

I use them for pest control also. The main thing I use them for is the fertilization. They come several times a year. It is fertilization and weed control. When you pay in advance, you get 10% off which is a really nice thing. When they are done, they hang something on your door knob about what they have done so that you have that for your records. It takes about 20 minutes.

It was fine. I have them service my lawn on a regular basis. That's every month or however many treatments I get. It takes place all summer long; from Spring until Fall. On punctuality I don't set up any time for them. Not at this time, it doesn't come to mind; anything that stands out or they should work on.

I think they?re okay. I?ve had them for several years, so that should tell you that I?m satisfied with them. I?ve never used anybody else, I have nothing to compare them with. I pay all at once, once a year for both lawn and shrubs. It?s 2 separate fees and it?s a hefty price, but I just don?t recall what it is.?I had problems several years ago with some trees that weren?t surviving. I asked a few of their tree experts and didn?t get a satisfactory answer, so they brought out some experts and looked at this and that. The next thing I know, they brought me a new tree. So, don?t know if they were responsible for the problem, but they certainly tried to make good.?I?ve never compared them to anything else. I know they?re expensive, but are they as expensive? I don?t know! Mostly their responsiveness is very, very good, occasionally when I?ve asked for feedback it took them a while to get to me. They?re not on a schedule or a schedule that I?m aware of.

I've had them for the last few years. I'm never here when they come out, they just do what they do and leave the thing on the door. If there is something that is not to my satisfactory, I'll call them, but I've actually never had to call. My understanding is, the pricing is going to go up, so there's other competitors out here, but I haven't switched as of yet.

We have a service agreement with them. We have to fight with them to get stuff done, but they do it. They're very punctual, they do come right away and often. We are looking into other providers at this point, we just have to call them and now that it's spring it's getting more urgent. They automatically re-start the contract from last year so that's why TruGreen came last week.

I don't know I don't talked to them that much I guess they were good. Get rid of the weeds for me which they haven't, they weren't helping my lawn.

They do a good job, we have used their services for several years.

They did a good job, but overall i'll have to rate them a "C". Well it's a- I've got a problem with weeds in the yard and they've never really solved the problem. I won't be using them next year We will find somebody else.

This is the worst company ever. I have been trying to solve a problem with my lawn dying out in areas. Technicians would come out but problem was not solved. I asked for a supervisor to come out so we could solve this problem. I was on hold on the phone for over 30 min. 2 days in a row. I was told a supervisor would come out. I changed my schedule so I could be here to ask questions. He never showed up and never bothered to call to let me know. I have never felt so insignificant in the way this company is doing business with me.

They never knock on the door but he knocked on the door and said, 'Who does your lawn?' I said another provider and he said, 'They do a fantastic job!' I thought that was really nice. I said, 'I know it.' He said they cut the right length. They don't cut when it is too hot. He said they just do a wonderful job. I said, 'yes, they do!' For the service TruGreen does, I would give them a B. One problem I have with them is that, I have told them that they are doing what I asked them to do. They will call up and try sell you something else. I told them that I don't need anything else. I don't want anything else, I just want my grass seeded, I want the weeds taken out of the yard and I need it fertilized. I said that I don't want them spraying my trees or my bushes. Because when they do that, they want to do it yearly and you have to sign a contract and I said no. I would use them again because I have tried several lawn services. I would never use another my previous company again, they were horrible.

I would not hire them again. They should use lawn treatments that actually work against weeds.

When it comes to billing, they don't stay on top of things. It is something I caught. Now I really have to stay on top of when they they come out and how I am billed. I have been thinking of changing but I haven't found anybody. They do call and they leave a note. I was away but it is kind of scheduled, they came on out anyway. I have talked to them. I am not quite happy about how my lawn is looking. We have discussed it. They have come out and discussed it with me to see what I am unhappy about. We just haven't solved it completely. They have made an attempt. For things that I have not been happy about, they have come out and discussed it. We have walked my yard. I told them what it is that I am bothered about and they have tried to accommodate me. They are trying. We have been quite successful. I haven't terminated them yet. They results haven't been what I wanted but they have made the attempt.

They come out every month. The price could be better.

I think we used them for about a year but we're not using them anymore. Whatever they put didn't work so we didn't want to continue with that. It didn't do what we thought it would do. It wasn't worth the price to us.

I am switching next year because they are too expensive. I paid for the whole year upfront and it cost about $700. I don't know what the per/treatment cost is. I never had issues communicating with them. They did a decent job, but they were pricey. I have found other companies to do the same thing for a lot less. If I am not happy with the service from the lower priced company I might consider switching back.
